So many combination forms of the weapons and effect parts is a big win on this kit. Imagine those blast-effect parts etc fit well on 30 minute mission kits.
The funny thing is, a lot of people use the simple form of Megami Device only and put clothes like cutie dolls, because the body articulation and the facial expresion are so good.
Just got her and I'm super excited to build her! I wish they would put out an expansion pack for these 2 with more armor though, the themes are so strong but a bit simple on the actual armor details. I'd love more puffs and a fuller skirt set with some ribbons, I know there is a long skirt set that's compatible but it's too long, maybe just a mid thigh length skirt set would be nice. Also an alternative breast plate with a huge bow.
That EVA head as you call it, I'm pretty sure it's supposed to resemble a slice of cheesecake. The shield thing on her arm looks like a cupcake, and her wand looks like a lolipop.
Eeeeeee~~~!! Yay OwO You're FINALLY reviewing Chaos and Pretty~~ Though I accidentally broke the original duo that I have...but don't worry. The darkness versions of the duo are still alive and kicking QwQ
You should check out the 3rd party Megami Kit that just released. It's based on the spider monster musume character. The details are really sharp and the quality is unexpected for a Chinese original design. HobbyMission has it under 1/12 Scale E-Model Arachne A.t.k Girl Model Kit.
@@ZakuAurelius Oh well, I got mine ordered already. I thought it looked really cool and once I either use official MD eye waterslides or mod a face plate that I like, it could be a real winner. Have a good one!
Darn it! I thought of it as a NAUGHTY NURSE costume until you pointed out the EVA 02 head! Lol! I must admit it looks like a very sweet kit in terms of customization potential! Another great review that is going break my piggy bank! Keep up the amazing work as I can't wait to see what's next! 😁
Haven't really gotten into these kinds of models so far... but... Figured I'd watch because, well... It's a Zaku video. Why wouldn't I? But seriously bro, I legit thought that was piece of pie on her head. :D
I dont have both mg of them, but i do i have a rg unicorn banshee, the building was quite fun, but the small part sometime hurts my finger while it comes to assembling If youre like to build more parts and an inner frame (rg inner frame is preassembled), i would recommend you to buy the MG instead if youre not bothered with the price (an ideal rg price was 50% cheaper than the mg version, but for the unicorn and sinanju it was only 40% cheaper), if only i knew it before i would just bought the mg banshee unicorn version instead the rg, but if youre more into smaller scale than you just can take the rg, the rg was kind like a little more detailed than mg but in a way more simple build
@@rndr_music thanks alot dude, do you think the RG full armor unicorn since it is real grade would be a bit more simple to put together compared to the MG rx-78-2 origin i just started building today? not counting all the extra parts for the weapons of course, just the actual build of the gundam unicorn it self compared to rx-78-2
@@zeek781 i would say the building process almost be the same, but could be a little bit tricky since unicorn is a transformable kit you must be put more caution while handling it (my unicorn side skirt almost broke off while attempting to transform it haha), for snap and build only both kit build process almost the same, but if youre applying sanding too process, rg would be pain in the ass for its part size
I don't really like the magical girl theme, saw some photo review and still doesn't like it. But some how your review just convince me for some weird reason.....in a good way I suppose XD I think it's just the color that I don't like.
I hate to say this, especially to MD fan, but i think this design is the worst so far. The costume is too tacky and barebones and it looks like they just attached so many things on her (they rather lazy with the tutu thing, could've used some frills), that headgear looks so stand out and doesn't fit well, and the accessories aren't over the top enough for either magical girl or a mecha musume model. I guess the effect parts were the plus point, but not enough to convince me.

I'd like to know your wife's opinion on this kit.
same xD
'An overwhelming amount of parts and combinations' is well said for this kit.

i think she needs a chainsaw weapon, a cutesy but brutal-looking chainsaw weapon to go with the magical girl theme.
Not a bad idea!
Reminds me of Lollipop Chainsaw, great idea!
There is definitely a MSG chainsaw. I think it can even be motorized to spin.

I’ve seen about that, not into it tbh

It can be customized with frame arms?
Man of culture
Hmm. I think you could nail a good Harley Quinn custom paintjob with this one.

Zach here Ora-Ora-ing the content at us and I CAN'T KEEP UP OMG ZACHARIAH
She’s my very first female build love it! Those effects parts are fire!!! 🔥💥
great review, thank you! i think im leaning towards the chaos pretty witch more.
I had the same issue with this particular kit. The shoulder ball is too loose and the arms are too tight.
weird. I had the opposite and had to use some dishwasher soap to loosen it up.
I just want the effect parts tbh
would you recommend the RG or MG versions of both the unicorn gundam and sinanju
please and thanks

The top piece also looks like the Ahead head from Gundam 00 season 2.
is it always like that? the abdomen gap really bothers me
Idk how to build her so I’m stuck in step 5 🥲
Exactly on the neck, I can’t find those parts on my kit
Yay, straight to the review
Nice waifu kit
I remember they change the colors for better sales
The Darkness version is a _bit_ more interesting, but the design doesn't appeal to me. I got WITCH instead.
I think that the head piece looks more like Metal Gear RAY's head.
I will wait for ypu to mod her.

I agree, definitely one of the weaker MD offerings design-wise. The accessories are good but the Witch pulls them off better IMO.
