With her arrival, I strongly recommended people to read the Fate/GO prequel manga Melty Blood Back Alley Alliance Nightmare now if you have not. This prequel was released back in year 1 of Fate/GO's life but has been very important to the lostbelt storyline. Even more so that Arcueid has joined which means something happened in the Tsukihime/Melty Blood timeline since in the prequel manga, Arcueid stated she will not help Fate/GO timeline from stopping the destruction of Humanity in all timelines due to her focusing on living in Tsukihime/Melty Blood timeline. That aside, I love how they gave her this unique summon animation to represent that Arcueid is literally teleporting herself from the Melty Blood timeline into Fate/GO timeline.
I was right about Xu Fu being a playable servant during the anniversary since she came out during 6.5 and NA reaching the event where she also appears and for the 5 star I always had in mind that it maybe a royal since there is a crown in 2022 fest... So they broke the caster thing then.. I guess LB 7 will be a showdown of Archetype x Grand Servant x Beast and probably Geronimo will be in LB 7 since he is a native and hoping for his animation update along with queltz
We got Arcuied and the summer Proto-Merlin, I hope they don't release summer Eresh at the same time as proto merlin cause I'll just be broke. I have Arcueid already with enough sq for an 80% of at least a single Proto-Merlin I can't handle it if they release summer Eresh though this anniversary was so good!

Now that you mention it, I should have rolled for Beserker 2. Getting my Morgan to NP3 would have been nice. The other 2 would have been NP1 but why not. Instead I rolled Saber 1 since I thought Musashi, Shiki and Nero bride looked cool only to get Okito.
Yeah same thought on why I bought Berserker 2. Wanted Moriarty Ruler but his banner is so crowded with things I don’t want. With Berserker 2, worst case, I can definitely use Morgan NP2. Got Summer Musashi instead and bonus Kriemhild which erased my regret from my failed roll for her
It's the only real way to future-proof it. The mechanic itself was weak so even if they were to release a new servant that would "save" it, it wouldn't fix the underlying issue of it just not being as good as either pure damage or NP generation. Adding Crit rate to it and adding Mighty Chains fixes it just in time to make mixing face cards better than forcing brave chains AND has the added advantage of helping out servants with mismatched decks to a certain degree. Is good change, I like. My mind is doing backflips on what this along with letting us use non-friend NPs means for the difficulty spike we're about to encounter, though...
Reminder Case Files rerun took three years to come. I wouldn't be surprised if that case applies to future collab reruns. Also that entire Arc reveal is just "it was at this moment he knew, he fucked up".

I’m really curious about all this
So not sure if you found out already but here's what it is: we get 3 characters in one, depending on ascension. First ascension is Archetype: Earth the Original One of Earth, a theoretical version of Arc that never really became more human after meeting Shiki (likely never met him to start with), has lived for millennia just doing her job and seems to have the character of a "queen" in contrast with her other selves. This is close to the version of A:E from Melty Blood. Her bio states that despite "seeming morose and unfeeling, she's a funny queen that looks forward to unexpected coincidences." Second ascension is Arcueid Brunestud of the Tsukihime remake, 3 years in the future of "a certain route" that goes undisclosed. She's just literally Arc as she appears in the remake. She has a different NP animation because she differs the most out of the 3, even to the point where her alignment is Neutral Good rather than Chaotic Good like the others. Her bio states that she's a "funny vamp that sprung forth from a fateful encounter." Third ascension is an even more theoretical version of Arcueid Brunestud, this time younger, also closer to A:E than Arc. It's likely this version never met Roa or Shiki and simply stayed as a princess. Her bio states that she's a "funny princess that will never encounter her fate." As for the NP, it does the same thing across all forms but comes with 2 animations (ascension 1 shares with 3, 2 is separate, there are also three separate voice-overs depending on which ascension is in play) and is a Battlefield change to Millennium Castle for 3T along with AOE Buster damage, extra damage to Chaotic enemies and charges Living Human teammates NP based on NP overcharge (20% at 100% > 40% at 500%). The Millennium Castle Battlefield activates her special passive "Original One D" that boosts her Quick, Arts and Buster effectiveness by 30% and improves her third skill "Funny Vamp EX" by adding a 30% party wide battery, aside from herself. For the record, the "Living Human" designation refers to demi or pseudo-servants like Ishtar, Waver, Reines, Muramasa, Mashu etc. so basically servants that have a human host. Her second skill is a 100% battery at level 10. This means that if she is teamed with Living Human teammates she can Skill 2 > NP > Skill 3 and grant her team 50% NP out of the gate.
As great as everything else is, for me, as someone who plays PSO2: New Genesis and FGO, when Sega announced that they were working with a game studio for a collab, I was not expecting to find out this soon and for it to be MBTL. For those who do not play PSO2, when they have a collaboration, it can take on a base form or a more involved one. At the base level, this means that they will have a scratch ticket, their version of the gatcha but it is only for cosmetics as 99% of the gameplay is actually free, that will have costumes and other items from MBTL. In other words, you will be able to dress your character up as Arcueid, Ciel and others, most likely be able to get a ticket so you can give them the same voice and maybe have music from the game. The more involved ones have you interacting with the characters in games with quests and the like (see the Sword Art Online one they had as an example). If the roadmap for PSO2 is to go by, MBTL should come to PSO2 in October.
I'm not really an Arcueid fan, but the gameplay changes really make it seem like Lasengle is much better at implementing these than Delightworks ever was. At this point I'm just hoping for Auto-repeat same cards(like Arknights) and most of all, the ability to run this game on more than 1 device at a time (this is the only game I have on my phone that I can't also play on my PC on bluestacks, because of the code transfer thing). That reaction to extra quartz per servant was funny. "How many servants are there in this game, 150?", this ain't Pokemon red/blue, man.
This is essentially the same team though. Lasengle is literally just Aniplex buying up DW’s FGO development division, make it a company, and basically just simplify the chain of command between Aniplex and dev teams. Yeah, at this point, the ill-fated Sakura Kakumei is literally the curse that plagued FGO between 2020 and 2021, and the super-long development of LB6. FGO literally changing before our eyes, starting from LB6 onwards with so many QoL updates that I felt bad for NA that it will missed out on alot of things for another 2 years. Then they literally brought improvements from 1-year ahead to NA.

Considering we basically got NO gameplay changes under DW for the last 5 years as NA players, I'd have to say they're probably the source of the problem. The free Kaleidoscpe would have been so much cooler when I was just starting out but I've lucked my way into an MLB lvl 100 kscope and like 3/5ths of the way to a 2nd MLB scope. By the time this rolls around I may go Black Grail in NA.

If you ACTUALLY have ALL the servants and you have them fully ascended, then you deserve the 915sq for your investment. I only have like 30 ascended on my jp account so I only got 90sq. But when NA gets there I’m gonna be getting at least a solid 400sq. Plus the 100 from rt campaign and the extra sq from main missions and other such stuff. They’re basically giving away enough sq for a free pity.
This is all great news but I feel like they missed the mark with her NP. With the rework of the quick cards and the fact we have BB as the moon cancer of Buster AoE, and Kiara as the moon cancer of Arts AoE. She could have been the moon cancer of Quick AoE. Especially since we get what 1 moon cancer like every 2 years. Still mega hyped for her and everything else and hope I get her when she arrives in NA.

The rewards are given retroactively, meaning you'll still get it even when your servants are all max ascended way before the update drops. It's only applicable to the first copy of servant you raised though. If you raise more than one copy of the same servant, you won't get the rewards from the second copy and so forth.
So wait... starting with quick gives a 20% crit damage up or a +20% crit chance to all cards? And either way, if all those buffs apply to the extra card on a Mighty brave chain does that mean extra card can crit now?

The number depends on how many servants you got
And you leveled to max ascension
That's the maximum number if you have all servants that's been released and get them all to their max ascension.

One thing I don’t understand, what about all of the servants you already have max ascended? Can you not get the three saint quartz from them anymore?
The rewards are given retroactively, meaning you'll still get it even when your servants are all max ascended way before the update drops. It's only applicable to the first copy of servant you raised though. If you raise more than one copy of the same servant, you won't get the rewards from the second copy and so forth.

So wait... starting with quick gives a 20% crit damage up or a +20% crit chance to all cards? And either way, if all those buffs apply to the extra card on a Mighty brave chain does that mean extra card can crit now?
It's actually +20% crit chance that can be applied to all cards except extra as that card can't crit no matter what.
