    Surprised you didn't give an example of fish and chips vs. fush un chips. I do like how people from both countries can generally take a joke at our own expense. We visited Queenstown a few years and when the kiwi operating the cable cars realised we were from Australia he was quick to joke "how can you tell someone is from Australia? You can still see the red ring on the ankle from dragging the ball and chain". He seemed to take my response well "better than the ring of mutton on the dick of a kiwi" :)

      They are not *cable cars* its a gondola....im from queenstown its called the SKYLINE GONDOLA. And that joke is only funny to the bloody bogans that like to laugh at people and tell them to *shag a sheep*. But to be fair...there are far better jokes about both countries, I mean honestly who says that? There are many better stereotypes to laugh about that are both clean and not as harsh or mean as either of those.
