    i always recognize Shi yuqi as a top 3 highest level next to Axelsen and Momota after LD, LCW, CL generation. he has not only overall skills but also unique skills that help him against Axelsen especially his splash smash and tight net shot, the only thing he need is stamina, luckily today he's fine of that to make it to set 3. Maybe he isn't world champion like Vitidsarn and Lky but be the finalist of WC in a year when Momota dominated or champion and runner up of all england, champion and runner up of world tour final that isn't easy

      I 100% agree with you about Shi Yu Qi's stamina. He tends to cruise through the first game, but if he lose the second game, he would be in a bad spot in the third game in a lot of matches.

    Shi Yuqi adjusted his game style against Viktor... He played a bit more patient, buying time, not attacking a lot because Yuqi knew if he made an attack and Viktor able to defend it, Yuqi will be in so much trouble, that's why we didn't see him attacking like his usual game with explosive attack mode in this match... moreover Yuqi put a lot of pressure at the net battle, forced Viktor to make his own error...
    One thing I noticed from this match is: if you wanna win a match against Viktor you should adjust your playing style and make sure for not making so much errors on your shots selection
    It might be easier said than done, but as an elite athlete, you gotta try 😊😊
    Congrats to Shi Yuqi... Great game plan 🎉🎊👍

    • @randomname2299
      @randomname2299 8 месяцев назад +5

      Yes, the strongest point of Axelsen isn't attack, if you watch his matches, he isn't good as forcing an attack, his strongest point is his the brilliant defend, thus he always kinda bait opponents into attack position that he thinks he can counter, you need to be more way more patient than usually, as many attack patterns that usually a winner could be returned easily with Axelsen. This reminds me of the way Momota used to win against Axelsen, fast paced rally try to move Axelsen around as much as possible and not being to eager to finish the rally, big man always requires more energy to move around, more weight, bigger muscles, no matter how good Axelsen stamina is, this is always true.

    • @demambulutangkis7151
      @demambulutangkis7151 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@randomname2299 I concur entirely. When pitted against Viktor, patience is paramount, and one must resist the urge to hastily accumulate points. Viktor is meticulous with every shot he takes, and often, it's the opponents who inadvertently gift him points through their own missteps. Lee Cheuk Yiu had the potential to defeat Viktor in the quarter-finals, but his impatience to score points, rush to conclude the match, and secure victory led to his downfall. For any player aspiring to triumph over Viktor, patience, strategic rallies, frequent use of drop shots, and masterful court movement are the cornerstones to his defeat.

  • @Freewill888
    @Freewill888 8 месяцев назад +10

    Shi played extremely well and consistently today and doesn't lose his concentration until the end of the game- well deserved win. Fake attack works really well to Axelsen as Axelsen is aging and cannot afford to continuously change the core. Axelsen seems to still play defensively until 2024 Olympic as he doesn't want to take much injury risk so probably we don't see very dominant performance from him before that.

    Thật ra Shi rất có tiềm năng, Shi có thể là vị vương của thế hệ tiếp nếu giữ phong độ này và Viktor yếu đi hoặc giải nghệ. Không hẳn Shi quá hay nhưng chiến thuật lối đánh có thể chuyển liên tục qua từng giải để hạ đối thủ, đây cũng là lợi thế từ xưa của Trung Quốc về chiến thuật. Thật ra ng thắng Viktor dạo gần đây cũng có nhưng mình thấy những trận vs Shi nó khác lắm, 3 trận gần đây nhất Shi thắng tận 2 thì rõ ràng Shi có phần nào đó áp chế được Vik. Chúc mừng Shi Yu Qi, người thần tượng thứ 2 của tôi sau Momota
