Cinnamon Roll Apple Pie Dessert

- 2 cans of cinnamon rolls
1 can apple pie filling
1 cup pecans
Bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees until golden brown on top in a 9 X 13 size pan.
Microwave icing for 10 seconds. pour onto dessert while desert is still hot.
(each package of store bought cinnamon rolls comes with its own cup of icing.)
Made this last weekend with peaches, it’s wonderful. I added cinnamon and nutmeg and three thin slices of Kerry gold butter then set it all in the oven. Delicious! Thank you for posting:)

Added 4 tsp butter and a cinnamon/sugar 50/50 mix makes it even better

@@debbieking5171 I am super interested to hear of your results. Remember the deep red color of the cherry pie filling. Try not to mix it in too much, otherwise the whole dessert will probably be redish. I am thinking if you swirl it into the bread pieces, leaving some of the cinnamon roll without the cherry. That way it will be two tone. You know you just gave me an idea for a video. lol Thank you!
Hi Again, I am kinda thinking that cutting and placing the uncooked cinnamon roll pieces on the bottom of your dish, then adding the cherry pie filling plopping spoonfuls on top. Then add the icing. I think the cherry (red) will melt into the dessert and after the icing, the presentation will be beautiful. Let me know!

8 or 5 can cinnamon rolls
I think i used 8, but if you use a 5 can, it will make the apple more pronounced. I think it would taste great either way.
