@@irishcoffee8201 Had better marketing. By far a worse game. In fact I’d argue it’s a bad game overall. Plus it’s for normbots.
I think a way to get people into Squad 44 is making Squad 44 and Squad part of the same UI and server browser. If that cant be achieved for whatever reason, an alternative is creating an OWI launcher that makes you select Squad or Squad 44 (and other OWI games). This will get it into people's heads that these two games are both Squad which will make them more open to trying it out.

Integrating both of these games is a decent idea if done correctly. But creating a yet another stupid launcher is definitely a terrible one.

They use the same code and engine.

I find it hard to find servers with people talking. So i'll stick to HLL untill EU servers are populated whenever i try it. Even though S44 Appeals more to me.
@@wowvanilla1 Strange because I think the EU servers are the most dedicated. Probably just need to switch to another section in those servers. Always find one with people that actually talk.

The best way to become a solid squad leader is to repeat repeat repeat. And chances are high that your mates will help you as you go as they also want structure in battle

I just played my first few games and it's a good time! I was logistics and I managed to end up lost and confused a whole bunch but that just added to my immersion!

Squad 44 is my best game since Red orchestra. Now with recently released Soviet Mod and Pacific in the roadmap game might finally get more deserved attention

the recent updates have had debilitating bugs making the game a chore to play, the panzerwerfer repeating reload sound really was incredible
Its been fixed :) , give it an update on steam and itll be gone along other crash and bad fps fixes. We are still working hard on solving other nasty bugs. We'll get there.

Been playing for 3 years. Love it. Was one of the few hundreds that played while it was "dead". It was always a fun community though. I played about 1200 hrs versus 3 in HLL.
Still amazed how much better UI is in Post Scriptum compared to Squad
This game has fucking gorgeous particles effects
I like this better than Squad because I prefer the more simple weapons and exchanges where not everyone is a sniper with a scoped autoloader. It's a lot easier to avoid friendly fire also with fairly clear demarcation between uniforms. I play logistics most the time, but branch out slowly.

I played some rounds last night, sometimes i am at 70fps sometime i am at 15. Idk what is with milsim games and their bad optimization. When game was at 70fps was fun though.
Last update dropped performance, but they patch it quickly. It usually happens every update but always comes with a quick fix last devs left lots of spaghetti code I suffered from the frame drops last day or so.

@Squad44ICOhappened bro do you understand that games are constantly under "development" they are always aiming to improve their game don't be a little whiner if you don't enjoy the game don't play its a game man. The devs are doing a fantastic job. They've done nothing but make the game better since they took it over.

@@walker50aaron lol the devs have touched the graphics, lighting, game modes, weapons, camera, and vehicles. You can't say it's still spaghetti code from the old devs after 8 months when they release a broken update after 'fixing' all of those aspects. I'm tired of shills saying they're doing a good job when before their recent update they added 100 average players and 100 more peak players than 7 months of no devs. They blow and the game sucks, OWI are not good devs just look at Squad. MA are part time front men and hyped up the pacific that's the only reason this update has traction and many are disappointed they hinted at it and will have to wait 6+ months more. There was 1 server NA at nights, the game for years had 2 minimum even without devs.
Hell let loose does it all a bit better with less complicated things imo. Squad 44 will be fun after some more patches. It is definitely more historically accurate and hardcore.
I always go to buy this game but the player count turns me away, but I guess if I support the game I should do my part

That game mode looks pretty awesome! You actually had to blow up the barricade to keep moving?
Depending on the map and objective you may have to blow up bunkers, barricades, weapon stockpiles, 88 guns and more before it unlocks physical capture points
Sometimes you’ll have the option to capture a point, but won’t be able to completely capture the point until the Red X objectives on the map are destroyed
I wish this would come out for consoles

Post Scriptum has had a special place in my heart for many years. It has certainly been one of the most immersive and theatric shooters I have ever played. If you manage to get a good team, working together with good communication, I believe the experience is unmatched. It's a shame it was managed so poorly, and has never received the recognition it truly deserves. To be honest, I haven't played it since it became known as "Squad 44"...but the update is currently downloading.

To be honest, the only thing keeping me from playing this game more is the inexplicable bug where I can not speak in VOIP. My setup works everywhere but this game and it's annoying since I can't warn my squad mates about enemies even if I detected them before they saw us.

That’s not really a problem. Make the enemy encounters a little rare so you cherish them a bit. Rather than getting sprayed with a fire hose of players

Id like to emphasize that its really IMPORTANT to use comms, even if you dont know what to say or how to play the game you can still should out enemies or say what killed you and from where. Its also important to do your job as a medic, stick close to your squad and revive as many allies as possible while trying to not die yourself, dont go guns blazing or off on your own, pls just pick a different class if you dont want to be reviving and healing other players, and as a medic most of the time you dont wanna even be engaging the enemy or poking your head up out of cover, just stay behind your squad and behind cover
