I’ve had these since I was 20years old I’m 42 now. I’ve never experienced pain or numbness it’s just a scary experience. They happen maybe 3/4 times a year out of nowhere I lay down breath hold my breath and push like compression., I drink water and at some point my heart will just jump back into a normal rhythm like nothing ever happened. I have felt a little fatigued after. Sometimes it’s very short sometimes it last for 5/10 min. I don’t recommend them.
You’re probably confusing VT with SVT, which is a non life-threatening rhythm more common in young individuals in the absence of structural or ischaemic heart disease, and can be terminated via the method you described which is known as the Valsalva manoeuvre.
