  • This video was restricted by RUclips before it had even finished being posted. With that in mind, it's probably no big surprise to hear there's a wealth of additional TATVCanada content out there you've likely never seen before due to RUclips censorship. This includes videos on firearms, ammunition, casting, reloading and DIY-gunsmithing.
For as little as $1/month, you'll not only be supporting the channel, but also get full access to the entire TATVCanada back-catalog. That includes every single video I've ever produced, including the ones RUclips deleted, ad-free, and in their original, unedited release.

Maybe, but I'm not going to apologize for having a legitimate hobby. RUclips and the other censors can get bent.

Patreon seems to have its own issues, and a lot of people in the firearms space have moved or looked for alternatives in case of removal. I'm not sure about the current state of Patreon, but I would consider other alternatives in case. Patreon seems to have issues with off-site activity, for example.

I don't really have much experience with them. At this stage there simply aren't many other alternatives.

Have you pressure tested buckshot loads created using birdshot load data? I really liked seeing your tests regarding slug loads created with birdshot load data.

I did a whole pile of pressure testing a couple years back before covid basically shut the planet down. Some of it I've published ("Loading shotshells by weight", "Testing BPI Mica Wadslick") but there'd a whole pile more I just never really finished going through. Thanks for the reminder; I should really quit dragging my heels on that.

@@TATVCanada nice, you’ll have to post a video about it. I’ve been thinking about making buckshot loads using birdshot data if Hodgdon has anything to say about it. They have birdshot and buckshot loads that are very similar apart from a few hundred PSI of peak pressure

@@CarsAndSodaBarsI used to reload W-W AA hulls with #4 buck by weight in Claybuster wads and crimped shut. They looked like trap loads except for the dab of hot glue to seal the tiny center hole in the crimp if any. Green Dot worked well.
