Mine does 55 at 7.5k and I weigh 215. If I ref lined it I could easily break 60. Haven’t changed the front sprocket yet but I’m gonna bet that I’ll be cruising at 5k at 55 which is all I need, and 60+ at 6.5-7k for short stretches if need be. 200 miles in, its a great bike for the price. It’s a 200cc so don’t x-pect crazy power. It’s a duel sport. It does what it supposed to do, it rides well off road and does just good enough in the road. Great for exploring trails and back roads. I get 100 miles a gallon, and it’s easy to work on.

You know what impressed me about the GET motor? You can WOT an entire tank of gas and the motor says “that’s all you got! I can take more! “ Even the GY6 can’t do that (that I know of)
So I hit top Speedo speeds of up to 67 mph myself. I’ve taken it up to 60 mph on the whoops on a fairly rocky trail. Just stand up lean back and let her buck. It’s light enough to push through if you give your fears up but is so light it can throw you around and could use a bit more gusto for hitting the tops of larger gaps. And in the deep sand it is lacking what it needs for additional umph to push through without getting to squirrelly. All in all good bike. Don’t suggest highway use. Good review sir.

This is 200cc fuel injected so if you stop riding it for a bit and ride it again you don’t have to worry about clogged jets. This also has a balance shaft for smoother riding. Really it’s up to you. The hawk has more rider data for mods and upgrades with a pretty good fan base, this is relatively new still.
So how is the x-pect now? You've had it for a few months now, I was looking at one nearby and I'd need it to be a reliable daily. Could you possibly make a video on how it is now?
Anyone know if these are known to clatter ? Pretty decent noise at any type of rpm. Sounds top end. It’s got 92 miles on it with only 1 being me in my small yard.. I’m thinking the original owner didn’t adjust valves maybe? Wrong oil? Hard break in? I adjusted the valves and no change. Runs strong. Doesn’t really miss a beat. Kinda hard cold starts randomly. But I’ve literally put 20 mins of ride my time on It. Don’t want to blow it up and be worse off.
I think If it's near the gas tank there is a hose, or something internally that vibrates. It scared me for a bit till I finally figured out where it was coming from

It’s the shifter gasket if you are talking oil , it was a simple fix, I have a video on it. As far as stalling I never had that issue :( sorry to hear and if you want a 29 year old bike that’s cool too. Whatever you like is cool with me as long as you are riding and enjoying.
Yep... definitely too slow. I would get eaten alive if I make this my daily commute on highway. I’ll would have to travel local where speeds doesn’t exceed anything greater than 45 because normally traffics always speeds up 10 miles above normal speed limits.
You have to take into consideration that this is a Dual Sport bike, and he didn’t push it to its full potential. It’s not geared for street use, it’s geared to get you around just enough of the street, but give you proper power on the dirt. It’s also a 196cc Motor with the bike weight of 285 Pounds.
@EquinoxDesigns had a 230cc Dongfang... check my channel. Now it’s sold this thing was doing 80MPH from the get-co n skipping cars like flies. Dual Sport dirtbike. 5 gears Carbureted engine. There’s a reason y my display name is GY6. I pretty much starts from the basics so when I made a comment I really meant it. Also there is another RUclipsr who got a txmotorsport dirtbike which claims to b 230cc n still does the same speed as he’s doing. The issue is not the performance it’s the whole EFI system. Like if a bike tops 80 the efi will push it at 60-65. The Lycan, I once push it at 82, trying to rival the claim speed of the XVS250 which is 85MPH but it won’t go that far. It would if it was carbureted.

Just put mine together. The throttle rolls forward to accelerate......they put that together. I love the bike though.
That’s new, forward roll throttle. I guess they put the cable on backwards in the throttle tube.

what kinds of roads is between your house and work. Max speed limit? hills and such. I would lean towards the mini off the bat
Can you also comment a sprocket size or DM me a sprocket that will fit on the engine shaft or front sprocket. Or even a link if you can please.
if u do a speed test u should redline it on the bottoim of the redline,otherwise its not a speed test

It had 30 miles on it , not a great break in method , you can WOT your own bike when you get a new one out of the box.
