Pronger, held me on his lap at age 4 in Cleveland Ohio. I was the youngest player in their hockey camp to ever play. I appreciate how candid Chris was. It's hard to imagine this easygoing, hilarious dude being a total beast on the ice, but he was. As a teenager, I tried playing like him.

I was a fan before Pronger came here to Edm but watching him here live that season.....the dude was a BEAST. He's the reason they made a run at the cup. Period. Great interview boys. Nice job!
Pronger wasn’t on the ducks for long but man was he incredible for us. Major part of our Stanley cup run. Brought such toughness and veteran leadership. I’ll never forget how great that team was
He should've won the Conn Smythe that year. His 1st year after being traded from Edmonton, who he brought to the cup final the year before as well, and the Ducks win the cup
How good of a guy is Pronger. Not just thought-through answers to absolutely everything but even when talking and wrapped up in a story he makes sure to make eye contact with the guy who asked it. I know he's media trained but still. All these podcasts just make me appreciate everyone so much more once you get to know what they're like off the ice too. Killer interview and a pure beast on the ice. Grant Fuhr (and Sean Burke just as much of a favorite) used to be my heroes back when I was a young goalie so hearing these stories and how he threw a little shade to the replacement goalies that season after Fuhr got injured in St. Louis was on point and I hadn't thought of that in forever, haha. I went and saw him the Day he arrived to Edmonton with Mike Peca at the Edmonton Oilers head office . Pronger was HUGE!! I knew good things would happen to the Oilers that year. Thanks Chris.
He's retired now. Brian Burke said he used to complain about everything (coffee not being hot enough, etc) but maybe that's how needed to be to play the way he does.

Alexandre Daigle would be a really interesting interview. I mean he dated Pamela Anderson! Haha. But seriously. Interesting career and most definitely great hockey stories to tell.
