*update!!* The S10 has changed a fair amount, after being down for a while. ford 8.8" rear swap has been completed, and I am working on a modified Edelbrock intake manifold to eventually get some big hefty injectors mounted. The truck has been stable running at 4 PSI for quite some time. I'll try to work on a new video soon. Thanks for watching!
Just installed a turbo kit in my 2.2l s10, brand new motor, runs 7 psi daily 12 psi max, 270 horsepower with the methanol. love the build, any boosted s10/sonoma good in my book.
Cool truck dude. I was wondering if maybe you ran 3 1/2" inch dual exhaust out to the rear end of the truck, and with a H or X pipe somewhere in the middle you might get that turbo boost up to 10 psi. An exhaust system like I'm talking about would definitely increase your horsepower a little bit. I don't know much about turbos or whether a bigger exhaust would allow you to run more boost pressure. However, I think it makes sense that it would work like that. Either way you've still got a bad ass truck. 👍😁
Look up marine fuel zip ties it'll hold anything that and fuel pump will put out. I'm giving a serious look at putting a turbo on my 2.2 99 S10 I just need an extra hundred horsepower to tell my boat that's all I care about. I turned a wrench for years and years. I'm actually a boat mechanic by trade but I also work on my own vehicles. I know nothing about turbos so this is all new to me.

One line popped off the injector, under pressure, luckily after I had shut the engine off and it hadn't warmed up much. Had my luck been different, I'd had an underhood fire and lost everything. These injectors are unique, though. I don't want to keep my current aux injector setup long-term. Check out the newest video for how the injectors are currently connected, much safer.

He did most of it based off of the original design. The setup was done already by GM in the Cyclone. They turboed the 4.3 before and it was the quickest p/u for 30 years.
Yep, it was an unreinforced PVC drain coupling. I had the extra header wrap and zip ties tightly around it to provide a little supplemental reinforcement. It worked fine for the time I kept it.

These injectors have been disabled since the video, until I can get a little more spendy to put higher quality fuel lines & fittings on it.
Basically correct. The Greddy Emanage controller monitors both RPM and throttle position, and commands the injectors to add fuel when the rpm climbs high enough to spool the turbo, and the throttle position is far enough open to be generating boost. In the long run this system alone with an untuned ECU has proven inadequate, as the Greddy controller is unable to make sense of the GM ignition signal and provide timing modification under boost.
