Your voice aside, watching the video of you sing, the sound that came out of that face looked effortless. When you make that great of a sound look so easy, it is your voice that commands attention, not the expression on your face. You sounded like you felt it. Most singers need to look like they feel it to sound like they do.
Jessica, don't listen to idiots like Sebastian. He obviously knows nothing about singing. I do it for a living. Been a professional singer for 30+ yrs. You did very little "wrong". Maybe a little ahead of the music at times but absolutely beautiful voice. Don't ever let nay sayers bring you down. You're amazing.
Great voice. But this song carries a lot of emotion with it. So...i only missed the emotion for the lyrics at your performance. But you have a great, great voice. Just a reminder...this is a song that Oleta sang...with so much passion and emotion. So...But great voice.
