Sammy literally sung his heart out for this band. Shame so many people dog him and say Dave was better. Gimme a break. Sammy has one if rocks best voices ever.
Agree, Sammy is unbelievable. Anyone who bags him has absolutely no clue about musicality or the skill he possesses to sing like that. I could listen to Sammy all day.
Dave is a prominent Rockstar-frontman, a pioneer of sex-drugs n rock n roll figure (after Rob Plant) modelled by glam metal bands in 80s-90s. However, in terms of musicianship, Sammy is waay better.
Nothing embarrassing about Sammy's looks or enthusiasm towards his band. I never understand people who say he was a joke when DLR strutted around in assless chaps. Was that cool? Not really, but he was a great frontman, and Sammy was a great singer. '95 is regarded as a great time Edward, he was at the top of his game on this tour, the whole band was tight.
2022 and this still gives me chills. Sammy’s voice is unbelievable and Eddie played with so much feel, incredible. Will forever wish I was able to see this!
I saw them do Dreams in late July 1995 in Tinley Park IL (Chicago). Just like this version. Come to think of it they did it when I saw them twice in 1993.
I DON'T BELIEVE EDDIE WAS EVER OFF HIS BEST!!! WHAT HE INDURED WITH HIS HEALTH, ADDICTIONS, AND THE VISIONARY HIS WAS BEFORE HIS TIME ONLY STRENGTHENED HIS ABILITIES TO DO AS HE DID. ONLY HIS BROTHER MAY HAVE BEEN THE ONE THE PERSON WHO KNEW WHAT EDDIE HAD IN HIS HEAD AT ANY GIVEN TIME AND HE STAYED BACK SOMEWHAT AND LET THE LIGHT SHINE ON EDDIE FOR AS LONG AS GOD ALLOWED. WE SHOULD ALL BE THANKFUL FOR HIS BROTHER'S APPRECIATION OF EDDIE BUT ALSO OF HIS AMAZING TALENTS OF VOCALS ANDS DRUMS ALSO. THE 4 WERE TRULY MEANT TO BE TOGETHER AS ONE INCREDIBLE BAND FOREVER AND ALWAYS THEY WILL BE MISS AS ONE!!! R.I.P. EDDIE❤️

Having been a singer and musician myself, I could sing this when I was in my late 20's and not this well and Sammy would have been pushing 50 or so here... and he still had it.. that's incredible
He did still have a powerful voice up until near 65. I saw him front row live when he was 62 and was like, OMG! For that age it was remarkable. I actually went there not expecting much. Now he’s like 72 so of course he has no pipes left.
I read in a reply to my comment of me watching the sing "I Cant Stop Lovin You" from this same show that this tour only had UK dates in England And Wales. Boy if this tour was happening now anywhere in the UK I would be at a gig in a flash because I wasnt really into them untill late in their career. More Def Leppard in the eighties and have seen them numerous times in Belfast and Dublin. I live in Northern Ireland. Eddie Van Halen is SORELY missed.😢🎸
God gave music, god gave us a soul, god gave us arould the world a musicial master in eddie and the band whether its dave, alex, michael or sammy, with eddie eddie eddie the cheer... there never be the same again. Only memories of greatness thank you to all of you band mates .from craig phillips in perth western australia.
@tubbybasset It would have been awesome to go to an alternate reality and see Eddie during this time but playing old VH stuff like Ain't Talkin' Bout Love and stuff like that, with his Frankenstrat and his old Marshall...that would have been pretty neat to see.
I don't usually jump on the Sammy vs Dave train and I love both eras of VH (after all, it's really about King Edward) but show me a single live video where Dave nails the vocals like Sammy did live. Go ahead, I'll wait...
Van Halen was going very strong at this time, while David Lee Roth just fizzled out on his own. I would say that was the worst career decision he had ever made.
Hagar dancing ruins every video 4 me , he did none of that in LWOAN , in that he was actually quite cool , but i think the real Hagar surfaced after that . It was downhill from that point , 5150 was easily the best VHAGAR album n that was writtrn for ROTH
@TheTechKid25 yes i can he looks like Richard simmons , its embaressing!, Hagar was never never cool, bar 5150 time , he at least tried to be normal , then he was just an absolute goose , VH cld have been so much bigger if he tried ,this tour was avg , the album very avg VH w hagar had 2 good albums 5150 n fuck , any true fan will accept that . AMAZING song though , crowd ws upped as bit

@@edwardscissorhands5264Robert Plant is a much better singer than Roth...he has a lot more in common with Sammy!
Dave was a good singer with good tone, but Sammy is a more powerful and versatile vocalist.
I haven't came across anyone who favors Dave over Sammy....Sammy is more than a singer...he is an excellent musician
Sammy killing it with Eddie. Two great musicians that could really crush it out live with no digital overlay BS.

Saw this tour in 95 in Ft. Wayne Indiana, front row and center high fiving Sammy and Eddie is a moment I'll never forget. R.I.P Eddie
Alex over here in his own little world sounding like he's playing on three whole drum sets

eddies tone! and micheals vocals.. well fuck this has to be the best live version!!
No question.
This tour was the best of all the Hagar era in my opinion. Sadly after Eddie lost his head.
No it wasn’t but it was damn good. They were playing better on the For Unlawful tour.
Today, I did it, after a lotta suffering, I thank god and this song for giving me the strengh to go through all the tough stuff, I did it!!! 👊🏻💪🏻🙌🏻
Very happy for you!! ❤
Gosh this takes me back to another place and time. Great memories.
Ed was 40 here and Sammy was 48 and still jumps like in his 20s
That lineup was so tight!!!
So Tight! Eddie was in his prime at this time!

This song gave me new energy for playing guitar!
god i miss the 90’s 😢
Best VH Song ever with the best Rocksinger ever.

One of my all-time favorites
Loved Eddie’s guitar tone on Balance.
Sammy great singer 🎤 made Van Halen from good to great 👍🏻
Van Halen was IT
i wish eddie could still play with this much soul
I wish that Eddie was still here with us...
The keyboard intro is amazing
Rease in peace Edy van Halen, this mom from Rangkasbitung, Indonesia

absolutely fucking masterpiece. this can raise a dead from the grave man. van halen AMEN
Sammy Hagar nos vocais do Han valen é uma coisa do outro mundo perfeito pra ele FOI muito pouco pra dizer o mínimo 😍

Amazing, I wish they had a live without a net version though :/

It’s remarkable how different of a band they became once Sammy joined. There was no more hot for teacher or drop dead legs or songs like that.
Que recuerdaso de la banda
Van halen. Tantos nostalgias
Por dios
Back when Van Halen was good!
The best version of Dreams because of Mikey's vocals - should've always been like that.
Totally agree - his repeat of Sammy's "higher" showcases how great his background vocals are!
Amo demais ❤️ VH 🤟
Sammy's dancing when the song kicks in looks utterly ridiculous.
Essa música é deliciosa ❤
🖤😍👍
I want half of Sammy’s energy.
For the best balance
crying
Two different bands entirely. Both were great
wow
What about Alex playing with a neck bracelet. And Michael vocals. They are the best
LOL at Alex's neck brace :P
Like to see DLR sing this one
AMEN !!!
hahaha . I wouldn't like to see DLR sing it as he'd kill it and it would effect me for life and i'd have nightmares for weeks. ;)
Dlr can’t sing worth shit
He can't even sing his own songs lmao
Were are the great 4 u of all time
FUCK YEAH POWER RANGERS
I didn't think Cherone and Malloy could deal with Eddie's song as what has sammy did
Don't know wich one are better Sammy or David? Need Help
Fuckin perfect
Sammy is the greatest
Van Halen was going very strong at this time, while David Lee Roth just fizzled out on his own. I would say that was the worst career decision he had ever made.
Power ranger!!!...kkk
Dumb cameraman zooms out right when eddie does his solo.
Sammy can sing dates songs, but dave can't sing sammys songs.
Sammy all day long
Mickey!
