No you can’t turn off your android device while casting as the video will stop as well. However if you use a chrome cast connected to the projector, you can turn off your device while watching. I’m hoping one day to make a video about screen sharing vs chrome casting.
No it will not project everything. As per experience I only use chrome cast to watch Netflix, Prime videos etc wirelessly from my iPhone as Netflix and prime don’t accept third party… don’t really know the terminology that’s why if you just watch without it you will hear audio but black screen.

Most likelyif you’re using an iphone, using a chrome cast is your option. If your android device supports SMART VIEW, you can use that. However I heard most new ones now, that feature has been removed due to 3rd party issue.

The attached photo is of the projector projecting onto my white closet doors. I still have not messed with the settings but I can't wait for our first family movie night on a larger scale. If you have issues with volume not working with your firestick, go into volume settings and you will find your solution there.

Opo basta may hdmi port kung san nyo po pwede connect ang chrome cast then connect the chrome cast to your phone or device.

Apple tv and iPhone should work without a chrome cast. However chrome cast is sometimes faster to connect than an Apple TV

So annoying i wanna screen mirror netflix but projectors wont let me and i dont have internet just my phone
Does your projector has screen mirroring feature as not all has it? Are you using android? Is there something says Smart view on your phone?
I downloaded chrome home doesn't let me scan this machine way to hard faster buy a big TV no hassle works right away I'm throwing my projector out

Sorry I can’t really show you how as I don’t have a Miracast. I thought it’s the same as Chrome cast. You should contact Miracast agent.

Turn the volume up from your phone or the from the projector.

Have you tried logging in then select forgot password, then an email should be sent to the email you used to register before - to reset your password.
