Thank you for giving me the idea of putting an X-Carry grip on my RXP X-Compact. I love everything about the pistol but I find the X-Compact grip a little too small front to back to get a good purchase with the support hand. I was going to do a full X-Carry conversion once Sig has the 3.9 inch slides with Romeo 1 Pro optic back in stock, but I think I'll just try swapping out the grip first.
I also agree the the versatility is awesome. If you want to go wild and do a home stipple job you can and if you mess up on it just buy another $40 grip. Simple and easy

I did exactly the same thing on my Xcompact. Bought an Xcarry frame seperately and grinded it down so it fits the Xcompact slide. Did that for 2 reasons: to have a better grip and to get a magwell. Xcompact frame was just too small for me and you can;t get a magwell on it. Good video!

I thought the x carry was only compatible with the romeo 1 and delta, did you have slide work done for it to fit the trijicon or was it a fit originally?

These are nice. I like how modular it is but not my cup of tea. good on ya for liking them though. I do carry a glock 19. Not a fanboy, just what I've shot the most and what I shoot the best.

Im new to the Sig 320x but on the blue cammo Sig 320, how did you get a compact slide on a "full" grip module? I thought the Carry slide was the smallest slide you could fit on the "full" slide correctly without modding the rail portion of the grip module?
How did you make the Leopold DPP fit?It's a little too big for my X carry and I don't know if the screw aligns.

Thinking about getting my first gun, I'm deciding whether to go with the xcarry or xcompact, it will mainly be used for home defense but I would like the option to carry in the future. From the video it almost seems like it doesn't matter since you can just change out whatever. Is there a benefit to starting with one or the other?
In general, the butt of the gun is the hard part to conceal. However, unless you buy a M18, good luck finding an XCarry. For some reason, Sig has phased then out or either the full 4.7" or 3.6".
What barrel are you running on the blue camo x-carry? I have been looking for a threaded barrel that I wouldn't have to take to a gunsmith

Yo go to brownells.com, they have couple different threaded barrels for p320 ranging from 89 to 300 all match grade barrels. I love p320s i have 3 i love them the way i love building ars. I dont like ar i dont think they do anythkng speical other than the universal system.
Also Sig sells the threaded Barrel on their site. They run out of stock often, so you have to catch.

Company called mad custom coating but they are wicked scum bags. They fucked it up twice and charged me too much and took way too long and never got it right so now I'm in a dispute with them.
Definitely don't ever use them.

Idk if you ever got a answer but yes and no. It fits but it is LONG so you have to cut it.

Anybody know a good gun light that will fit the x compact grip module?
I just got o light mini valkyrie 2 fits flush, baldr mini is good also, the valkyrie has 600 lumen and 100 meter throw. No batteries needed it has a charging cable. I'm liking it so far.
I have a xcompact and I'm trying to find a threaded barrel for it with no success, do you know of one that will work with the xcompact? Or a way that I can exchange parts to get a threaded barrel?
Not sure how you can't find one.. every single company that makes barrels makes barrels for the p320 haha. But, silencerco was what I got.

I was asking you because I can not find it for the xcompact and was just trying to see exactly what you were running with that threaded barrel setup you have in the vid that way I might be available able to add a new slide or something to mine that has a threaded barrel. How did u get a trijicon red dot on your p320 xcarry! Thought it only fits the romeo 1 and the delta point pro read dot.
The newer guns have a more universal optic cut for RMR/DPP, but CH Precision will sell you a plate to make an RMR work on any of the Sig Optic Cuts.
However, the camo one is some kind of a Norsso made slide with an RMR cut.
Humm. I have noticed so many people are carrying rmrs and all other sorts of stuff bolted and glued to their gun. I just carry a gun with open sights, my wallet, and a knife. Maybe I should get all the bells and whistles. Next will be a flack jacket
Well the red dot is just a much better, more efficient sighting system allowing you to threat focus instead of looking at your front sight.
The light is so you can see what you're shooting at because things happen at night and you shouldn't be shooting anything you can't clearly see. It's also a defensive tool of itself.
So if something makes it easier to aim, easier to identify your target, and easier to assess what your target is doing, why aren't you learning to use them?

@@maximusjoseppi5904 Yup. My open sights battery won't go dead. I can see putting a red dot on a competition gun. They work great. have one on my ar 15 but not for my edc pistol.
@@gregshuttleworth4465 an RMR's battery lasts 5 years my man. it wont go dead, change it once a year for routine.
red dots aren't a necessity, but a huge advance in sighting technology with great benefits. lights are a must on any carry gun imo though.
