Released as a promotional item by SquareSoft in 1997, the SquareSoft Collector’s Video is a VHS tape that was given away by SquareSoft mainly to promote the English release of Final Fantasy VII.
The VHS tape primarily features Final Fantasy VII, and includes 7 cut scenes from the game as well as a brief history on it’s development. There are also interviews with various members of the creative team at SquareSoft such as Hironobu Sakaguchi, Kazushige Nojima and Nobuo Uematsu.
Also included are preview adverts for Saga Frontier, Final Fantasy Tactics and Bushido Blade.
