Is there a massive construction project ongoing at the US Capitol?

- Many of you have been sending me a photograph of ongoing construction at the US Capitol. It's pretty massive--like a huge hole to the East of the US Capitol that indicates something nefarious is ongoing. However, this photo is not current and so that you can see that, I decided to drive over to Capitol Hill in the rain and snow (didn't feel like walking) so you can see for yourself, well best as you can given the fences and police and National Guard.

In 1969 my fiancé and I walked into the Capitol building through the "front" door, wandered all over the building and was never once challenged by anyone. In fact, I don't remember even seeing a guard. People today have no idea what "freedom" and "responsibility" really mean.
My husband and I went there in 1980 and did the same thing. We walked up the steps, around the rotunda, through the corridors and even into the house and senate (they were not in session as usual). We went into the old senate chamber and touched the statues from the 50 states and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with no questions asked...because we knew how important this building was to this nation and we respected it.

In Feb of '91 a friend and I say down in the intersection of hwy 49 and Indian boundary and smoked a joint while watching the lights change. The whole time no one, not even a cop at 2 in the morning came by. We were 16, no cameras, free as could be and knowing it then; we later flagged down a cop for a ride home even though we were way out past curfew. The cop was dumbfounded at how as-a-matter-of-fact we were about how little we cared about being out. Not a single cop in town was ever going to catch us on foot and we used to get them to chase us for fun. Known of that is possible today. I remember the shouts of joy, skiing fast through the woods. By the way, the Capital does NOT have a wall around it, there is fencing around it. A Wall and A Fence are 2 different things. A wall is permanent and if taken down would require major construction. A fence can be taken down easily without major construction.

One could file for an extension. Then when the deadline comes, file for another extension. The second one requires a reason for filling. Put in something redundant and hilarious, such as "My dog ate my 1099-D's" or "I lost my calculator/bank/CPA/home zip code".

The plans were set forth in the budget during fiscal planning and development for the area in 2019, I believe.

I recall reading an article stating lights went down at night to mitigate the migration of bugs off the potomac river which were causing structural damage to these monuments. This is supposed to be somewhat of a cover story -so I've read- because the tunnels between capitol and wh installed by direction of george h.w. bush are being addressed. There were mass amounts of charter buses seen with first responders all with black tint windows traveling to and from this pkg lot. The military are rescuing children enslaved beneath the ground in DC. This information was given by epstein to authorities, vetted and truthful. I assumed this construction type activity would be the further destruction of tunnels following clearance. Great channel!! That is an underground plaza, it has levels about 5 levels deep. The old Civil war tunnels are also in that area. I know this for certain, as my Grand father was one of the engineers for the Capitol building from the thirties until about 1965. When I was young we spent a good deal of time getting lost in the bowels of that complex. We went to the Dome observation deck, now closed, always polite, never caused a stir, we would fall is the back of the tours, and fade at the end. we knew the Capitol police, and if we got lost they would bring us back to Poppa's office. Great experience, great times for a kid to grow up. Now a days there is no way my brothers and I could have gone where we did. We would ride the Senate Subway just to kill time. Those days are gone.

I would challenge those wanting to some positive good stuff, to write out a gratitude list every day for 21 days, things you are thankful for.
