- In this video I go through 5 art techniques that will allow you to feel
calm and peaceful while doing.
The idea with this video is for you to decide which art techniques
suit you . So, for me, doing neurographic art is not terribly relaxing because it feels too
restrictive, but you may like more structure so the abstract art would be too free.
It’s all so subjective 😊
Let me know what you find the most relaxing.

Art supplies used:
Neurographic art- Watercolour paper, Gansai Tembi Kuretake watercolour paint ( Graphite, Starry night sets)
Pattern Making- Stonehenge Aqua Coldpress black watercolour paper, Amsterdam acrylic paints.
( bronze, white and aqua green)
Abstract Collage- Art Spectrum watercolour paper, rice paper collage pieces, Matte Medium (as glue), butterfly punch , posca paint pens.
Art Journalling- Dylusions Art journal, selection of acrylic paints ( matisse, jo sonya, Holbein acrylic, amsterdam), Holbein Acryla Gouache, posca paint pens
Magazine Alteration- Posca paint pens. You can use clear gesso over the image first to firm the page, but the gesso might be a little rough for the poscas. Might be good to give it a light sand before applying the paint.

Cool ideas. Very inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely loved this video! I've never wanted to attempt neurographic art but this kind I could handle! And I absolutely love the magazine art! Thank you so much for sharing 🥰

I LOVE LOVE LOVE your videos, thanks so much for doing this ❤❤ if possible, you mind adding the tools you use in your videos to the description? 🙏🏼
@@5agha7 Oh wow, thanks so much! I really appreciate your kind comment.
I’ll definitely edit my words to include the tools used- thanks for that suggestion 😊
@@debwebbart7541Your teaching not only has helped me get through challenging times but also is helping me to get over my fears and find peace in art. As a newbie, I don't have much art supplies and get so overwhelmed when shopping for them, so I decided to buy only the tools that are in your videos... this way I hope over time I'll learn what works for what and build an intentional tool box (brushes, paints, glue, etc.) SO GRATEFUL FOR HAVING FOUND YOUR CHANNEL 💝💝💝
Loving your videos. love the soundtracks you use. Especially the one with children in the background I found it vey therapeutic can I ask where you got it. I know you gave two music links but I can’t figure out which one
@@carolwright1134 thanks Carol! I like to put the volume low and use music that is mostly calming if I can. When editing, the music I use is actually on the app. I use the inshot app and the music is called Morning Hope. You can see the links in my description 😊
