I made my own to create the two German loops needed on my Steinway M. I got jealous when I tuned a Kawai grand the other day though and the scale design doesn't have any German loops at all. Good thinking on their part. The Steinway M is definitely better than the KG-2, but the Kawai has its virtues
Wow....How cool is it to find so many people interested in piano repair. I must say its humbling to strike a chord..(pun intended). Thanks for the 👍. Please know that I appreciate you and your interest in the field I love as well. We are all connected in some way, right? Love you all and please visit my facebook page at: facebook.com/grandpurpose. God Bless you all, Kurt Weissman
Boys, boys, play nice. There's plenty of room for both of you fine craftsmen. I watch both channels and have learned much from you guys in my work as a piano tech. Tom

Oh mannnn! I just restrung a Bluthner model 10. I wish I'd have known about this tool before I did it!!
Great job!
Much obliged for your sharing an elegant idea. Thank you!
Thank you! Going to change strings on an old Scholze 190.... Great video!

Steinway only have one single tie maybe two.
The Ron Nossman design is much better!
Not shown and what is most important, is getting the loops the correct size every time. That fact makes that tool amateurish.
Chernobieff Piano, I beg to differ. Check out my video on Max the Mason. The tool isn't the only thing that the craftsman needs. Talent helps
