Hi Mark - this video was excellent and worked for me perfectly! One question: If this loop is for a bass string (mono or bichord), won't the copper winding around the main length of wire make it too thick to feed through the tool?
@@Mark959 they rarely break at the bridge. 99.9% of the time the break at the tuning pin. Sometimes at the v-bar. But I’ve seen it happen twice that they broke at the bridge. Those are the weak points.

It’s for making a loop on a splice when the bass string breaks at the bridge. New bass strings always come with the loop already on. 🙂
