I actually agree I think they can’t be arsed anymore and want to milk what they can then shut it down - has felt like the servers have been shutting down for the past few years anyway 😂
I agree completely. You don’t save a dying game by coming up with new ways to charge people. That just seems like “let’s get our money then get out of here” type energy.

"It feels like they're trying to milk us dry" well yeah, they just doubled/quadrupled the cost of battle pass. It's almost like they're owned by EA.
It really does make me happy to hear that you do still love Apex; when I watch your videos, I’m always hoping you’re getting as much out of it as I do watching them. I still love Apex too, sad as I am about how many of my old buddies have moved on.

The TDM mode is very fun, I love using it to grind for camos and roll kids on Terminal- Wait wrong game.

I’d love to actually hear iTemp, Sooxfar, Jankz, Crazy Ratchet, Moose, and other Apex content creators actually voice their own honest and unscripted opinions on the state of the game, events, monetization, etc.
It would be pretty cool to have it in a live stream chat style as a 1 on 1 with themselves and a 1 on 1 with their fanbase too
My take is pretty standard really. I honestly don't care about the price of cosmetics; I don't really buy much any more. I only really care about the lack of content, the cheater problems and the worsening state of the servers. They could sell a cosmetic for $10,000 and it wouldn't bother me. I just wouldn't buy it.
Honestly my thoughts are pretty simple on it. I don't really care about the cost of cosmetics as long as they're not pay to win. It's a free game and they could price it at $10k for an heirloom if they wanted, I would just say it's dumb and not buy it. Nothing would change.
The real issues are with lack of content for these "collection events", the cheaters and the worsening server issues. I also think it's ridiculous how they balance the game around which expensive cosmetic is coming out next.
Coaches have to know everything about Apex Legends. And Coaches have to learn what is meta. Other than that they just talk nonsense after each team death LOL

Whilst I agree with what you say at the start rich people keep forgetting one thing. The game is completely free and you don't need to buy anything. My frustrations are with the lagging and cheating ect but when it comes to skins I just laugh and spend my money elsewhere.
I feel like Respawn and EA have decided to give another big middle finger to all Apex players by assaulting out ears at the beginning of drop because we kept calling out the terrible audio, not to mention audio has gotten even worse because just yesterday my teammate was shooting right next to me with a Longbow and I didn’t hear anything.
The havoc skin sale is diabolical lol. I will say I'm enjoying the 12v12 but the kill limit should be like twice as high. Games end so fast

Sucks for anyone bamboozled into purchasing in-game cosmetics. Your heirlooms wont mean anything once the game is unalive. Dont throw away your money.
I think someone has given up on Apex. Either the devs or EA, and that's why they have so many expensive recolors. Exotic shards are a dollar a piece to spend on recolors. $50 and it's the same skin but this time blue! At least this time the gun is still top end. Unlike the battle pass reactive that tend to be for the previous meta gun right after the nerf. A.k.a. the 30/30 one we have now. My biggest disappointments are the very obvious oversights that would take little to no more effort from the team. Like, sure we got big tdm, but did we really? The maps are the same size and the number of kills to win is exactly the same. It's a constant cluster fuck of 11 blue outlines and explosions where you can't get anything going. You only get kills by vulturing injured enemies because you get shot by four other people way before you output enough bullets to crack someone's shield. Easy fix? Give us bigger maps or at the very least increase the score limit so it isn't over in 2 minutes.
EA is drowning a fantastic game, and Respawn is just standing there helplessly watching the world they build and nurtured for 4+ years getting obliterated right in front of their eyes.

I got the Havoc reactive skin with a free pack…so that’s my win for the day with this game.
The last event i liked was that Halloween one from years ago 😂 i play em to get the rewards then abandon them to only play ranked

I haven’t played apex in 3 weeks. I’m over the game. Didn’t play any of the new split. Won’t even try this event. Respawn and the devs killed this game
As an audio guy, my unpopular opinion is that Apex audio is actually great despite its flaws. People complain a lot about it, but I think they need to understand that a videogame has limits and can't work like reality, or as we suppose it should.
Making a game like Apex is super complex, and few games provide as much info through audio. Sometimes there’s just too much for the game to handle all at once.
I’m not trying to flame, only to cut the devs some slack, I’m sure they try their best but again, I think that to get a videogame like this to work as intended is incredible on its own.
Yeah I agree people go too far. I also don't know how people expect them to make accurate vertical audio with a system that has only left and right speakers lol
@@iTemp2 That's a super interesting topic! There are ways to trick our ears with spatial audio (or binaural), like using volume to suggest distance. But yeah, it's still an illusion, and faking the vertical and behind dimensions is the hardest part.

Ea is just milking the fat cow and as long as there are too many crazy people buying everything, nothing will change. I stopped spending a single euro on the game in Season 20. It's no longer worth the money for me.

Happens to every game... Step one: build up player base, Step Two: Monitize said player base... not saying its the right way im just saying it is by the old book
love the game, but just uninstalled as very clearly they have no real intention of fixing the problems just want money money money. will carry on watching tho

I left cod a few years ago due to Activision turning it into a money grab so I started to play apex and honestly it was fun it was different but now it just feels it's heading the same direction as cod all about the money grab, release a skin for a gun that has the color changed its absolutely a joke but people will continue to sink momey into thus game so would the devs change anything
Sorry but if it takes everyone this long to realize there milking the game and players dry it's sad they didn't notice asoon as Titanfall 3 was cancelled. Games been dead since ramparts release its slowly fallen off and became a money grab.

In my eyes not really lol. Solo's was fun, sweaty but fun, so was quads, alter was fun, bm map changes were great. Outside cosmetic drama and bp it's been decent for me.

@@iTemp2 When they did that "store event" with the glowing skins - "Threat Level" event. It had a prize tracker, but no new mode & no event store. I don't know if it's WORST, but could definitely be a contender.
@@iTemp2 Threat Level easily for themed events, and strictly collection events? Death Dynasty, Harbingers (but NOT Living Shell Trios. I loved that game mode!), Void Raider (I don't think ANY of the skins are good), Shadow Society are all definitely worse than this one.
The skins are bad, the associated modes were boring, and on and on.

@@iTemp2 i thought that was the new skin in the intro bit? It wasnt meant to be a hurtful comment, (only playful) so i don't know where the sass is coming from mister.
@@hayley__939 the skin he's using was the original reactive havoc skin from early apex, not the skin from the event. it's what he was trying to explain at the begining. the "new" skin is just a recolor of a very old skin (the one he's using.) I understand your confusion tho. it's easy to mix up two skins when they look exactly the same because the company is too lazy/cheap to make a new skin.
