Having a husband who is battling cancer for 6 years, this brought tears to my eyes. It's a club no one wants to join but cancer survivors & cancer patients are so good to encourage, empathize & share with others going through these trials. God bless you, Don and that sweet lady.

Brain cancer is truly a different animal - one of our friends lost his battle in 2003 at age 35. It affects the emotions and so I am sure she was having difficulty. So glad she got to meet you and say what she wanted to say.

I lost my wife to Cancer last year and quite frankly still trying to cope with it. My heart goes out to them; I wish them all the luck and just a note to the husband who is obviously a dedicated caregiver : stay tough my friend, I know what you're going through and it's heart breaking. My prayers are with you both.

I have stage 4 kidney cancer, that is currently stable- still there but no growth. Thank you for this story. When I was diagnosed 10 year ago, I lost a kidney, but nothing else needed. It came back 3 year ago, and ate away at my humorous, so full shoulder replacement, with half the humorous as well. My kids say I am now bionic, with a titanium arm. This time, I decided that this is a nuisance that will go away, I have a 35 day cruise booked for this coming February to the south pacific, and have booked a river cruise in Portugal for next October. I am still on treatment (oral chemo) daily, and will be for the foreseeable future, but I AM here, and making plans for future travel. Hope and positive outlook make a huge difference in your outlook on life and your quality of life. Thank you for demonstrating this, it does give hope to those struggling with coping with their situations. May all of your CAT scans be clean ones, keep traveling!

Don, why'd you have to go and make us all cry? You are so kind to stop and listen to her story. Cancer is such a hard journey, on the patient, the caregivers, family and friends. My husband has an aggressive form of Multiple Myeloma. He was told that he wouldn't get 2 years. He's now multiple treatments in, plus a stem cell transplant and a clinical trial, and we are coming into his 5th year! We take one day, sometimes one hour at a time! Keep sharing and keep giving hope to those that need it the most!

What a story. Bless her heart. I am having my second cancer in 6 years. I was depressed but went forward with two surgeries since May. I haven't cruised in years. Did a lot of traveling by land for the last 20 years. So sad but had to realize I was done traveling as no stamina or strength and now cancer again. I started watching you and Tony. Now my son, his girlftiend and I are booked for a cruise in November for my 73rd birthday. I said I know I can cruise. It will be much easier to just get on a ship. I might not get off. That is ok. I will eat, drink and be merry on that ship. I am planning physical therapy next month. Knowing I have a cruise to work toward means so much. Travel has been my absolute life's passion. I am not done yet. Thanks Don and Tony. Best health and life to all of you. Enjoy, go for your dreams!!

As a cancer survivor (bone) I have to say its always an amazing feeling when you're being told that you're in remission and you might be safe.

I have lost both of my parents to cancer my mother to a brian tumour and my dad shortly after to lung cancer. I clearly remember that video you did in the airport and infact I chatted with you, on your way into one of your surgeries as you did a quick livestream so we could all wish you well. Now in those days you still had a tiny sub channel but it's so good to see how far you have come from those days, you are a true inspiration to many other suffers around the world. I truly wish you nothing but the very best for the future Don and I also pray for that lady keeps fighting and winning her battle, with the worst disease known to the human race and destroys many families. Much love and respect from Ireland. 🤗❤🍀

Thank you Don for taking the time to comfort this lady thru her time of trial in her health.... I lost my husband to cancer in 2006 and every time i hear of someone battling the disease my heart goes out to them, once you walk thru the process you hurt for others having to go thru it, in fact thats what piqued my interest in your channel. I keep up with your progress and am praying for your health and now this ladies also. God Bless you both.
