I think. the same as you do. Gannon's dad must wonder how all of this could have happened? The sad thing is that he could not read her mind, and she must have been very good in hiding what she really is. She is a heartless monster to say the least. She is trying the insanity plea. You have to be somewhat crazy to do what she has done to a helpless child. But she knew right from wrong it shows by the way she lied to the authorities. And the way she covered up all her steps. How hateful do you have to be to do that to a little boy?

I have a very easy way to tell if one is crazy as per the legal definition of the word…if they try to hide their deed, they consciously know it’s wrong, otherwise, why bother hiding it? 🤷🏻♀️

@@BattyBev I think they said that Gannon's mom had some health issues at the time. So that was the reason why Gannon and his sister were with Al and Leticia when this happened. Al was out of town for training with the military during this time. There were reports that Al and Leticia had marital problems when this occurred. I don't know how much of that is true. It is such a crying shame what happened to little Gannon.

People make me laugh. This is a tragedy. But also an amazing example of law enforcement partners working together. You can see the emotional toll its taken on them and its so incredible that we have people like this who invest in these cases and genuinely have massive compassion. Gannon's parents have come together and are faced with something that is truly horrific, they are nice and decent people. BUT YET STILL there are some who looking to create drama between the parents. Some of you having a go at Mom because he didn't live with her and then some blaming Dad for marrying a woman and not knowing she would kill his son. For goodness sake be positive, listen to his Mom's words, this is Gannon's story, his life, he loved his parents and his family, y'all think he would like to read some of the trash y'all have written. Honestly social media is amazing in so many ways but it also brings out so many twits clutching their pearls of something. Fly high little man fly high, I think your Mom & Dad have each others back and your family clearly adore you.

My heart goes out to Gannon's family, friends, and all those who loved Gannon.
I am from Buffalo, South Carolina and this case has touched my heart. This is just another reminder to us that we have to be careful of the people we allow around our children. This child is another innocent soul lost because of an adult he should have been able to trust. I can only imagine how difficult and heartbreaking this lost is to this family . There are too many children being lost and thrown away like trash, no one that abuses or harms a child should be walking free. Stricter laws are needed for the abuse of a child and the death of a child should be a death sentence for the one committing the murder and anyone that stands by and allows a child to suffer at the hands of an adult and does nothing to stop it.
My heart is aching for them 😭💔 How can any human being hurt a child, I will neverrrr EVERRR understand!

I am a GrandMother of twins a boy and a girl and they are 11 years old. They both were born preemies weighing a little over 1 lb. They too were in the hospital for a very long time before coming home. This story has affected me in a way that I cannot describe. Your family will always be in my prayers and now little Gannon is home with God and in perfect health again. Again, just know that I will always be praying for your family and it will certainly be a rough road. I know that God will give you both the strength and little Gannon's sister the strength bonded together with love and certainly God's help. I send my deepest condolences, this story really touched me in a personal way because of my twin grandchildren who are the same age as Gannon. They r somewhat guilty for their lifestyle even if it's the past. Leticia had to have showed some sign of what she was, and he choose to ignore and drop off if kid and then they kids personal time to waste on another women giving g this smpsycho a chance to hurt gannon. The mother as well. No one partner is on drugs w/o the other partner, he wasnt any better, they dhouldve shared custody with several especially when he was away.
I feel so bad for the parents. You know they must also be feeling guilt over leaving Gannon alone with Letitia and the mother not having him in her care.

Watching the trial now. This is heartbreaking. Landon’s pain is palpable and I truly hope she can get through this loss. I know she’s struggled with addiction of some kind in the past (via the trial) and this kind of trauma can really make recovery so difficult. I hope she’s doing okay now. This case is just awful. I’m hoping that the monster responsible for this is put away forever. And I hope Al can find peace - he didn’t know this would happen but I’m sure that, as a parent, he feels like he has some fault here because of who he married…but I hope he knows that the guilt lies solely with leticia. There’s no way he could’ve known. No one would’ve guessed this would happen. My heart aches for all of them.

I think we need to also look at how the court system failed this family. By Al’s admission Tecia showed signs of mental/emotional instability. A simple review of her google history would have told him everything he needed to know so that he wouldn’t have left Gannon in her care. I feel deeply for this mother. She loved him, nurtured him, cared for him and now she must weep bitterly for him. She was forced by court order to trust in a woman who hated her and was envious of her. Now she must be punished for life because of the decision that was made for her child to go and live with his father and this evil wench of a woman. I pray that the court system doesn’t fail this woman again and that they find this monster guilty of murdering this child. Only evil could do what she did to sweet Gannon.
