He has been married twice and has another baby since this happened. He works fast. Don't get me started on how Gannon and his sister were blown off so he could see his gf.

The longer this interview goes on the sorrier for I feel for her. She clearly has deep seated issues, and she's narcissistic for sure. Instead of this big lie being all about her - all about her - she should be screaming How is helping find Gannon??!!!
Beyond Sad! Not only did he survive as a 1lb-preemie but also the anxiety from all the custody issues and therapy. Then to die in the most horrific way by an evil stepmom he trusted. She’s Disgusting!
I have a micro preemie granddaughter that is now 6 and great. She weighed 1 lb. 2 Oz at birth. I have had a real soft spot for Gannon since this all happened. So sad. Those tiny preemies really fight to live.
I can only hope that she will suffer in a very painful way in prison now. Hopefully the inmates find out about her.

Still don't get why police let her leave on the whole roadtrip back to South Carolina. How she could slip in the suitcase. Why the van wasn't ckecked while she went on that trip across the country...
I guess, because nobody expected Letecia had the suitcase with her....

Her brother testified that he hadn't seen it moved from the house into the van and he also testified that the police were checking all the stuff as they were bringing out of the house and putting it into the van

The audacity of her implying her ex husband was abusive in that interview after killing his son is mind boggling. She is a master manipulator
How that detective sat there for hours listening to her line of BS without standing up, screaming and pulling her hair out in exasperation, I’ll never know. That was one of the dumbest, most ignorant and lamest narrations from a suspect I’ve ever heard.
Conveniently vague when she needed to be; excruciating and mind-numbing explanations of her actions, why she did what she did, and didn’t do what most people of even below-average intelligence would know to do, from her reactions to the fire, to alerting her daughter and getting her and the dogs to the truck (never mentioned calling or looking for Gannon), to aimlessly driving around the block after the fire with her kids in the car, to treating Gannon’s “burns” that were kind of seeping blood but somehow managed to splatter on the wall, to her plans to fix the carpet, and then to top it off, insults the intelligence of every person by stating that “you can’t imagine what you would do or react until it actually happens to you.”
Most importantly, she never spoke a word of worry or anxiety of where Gannon was or what he might be going through. Not a peep. Not a hint of concern.

Letecia is telling a story, when she says things like “I started to walk downstairs,” and “I remember hitting my head,” instead of “I walked down stairs” or “I hit my head” It’s like shes not recollecting a memory, it like she’s telling a story. Not to mention so much of this story makes zero sense.
And she has notes. I've never in my life seen someone bring notes to a police interview. Also, there is no way she has a doctorate. She's not that intelligent.

Who takes a child that has been burned to the point of having blisters peel and bleed overnight, with a stomach ache, on a round about trip to buy doggie outfits and Starbucks?! Instead of the doctor or hospital???
There’s GOT to be something else that causes her to put him in the truck that day.
My theory is (and it’s probably wrong lol) is that she gave Gannon the hydro codeine and then drove around for 4 hours. I think she was hoping he would overdose n then dump his body. She already had the “bath salt” story going (which I think is also planted on Gannon’s phone) So if the body was found they wouldn’t necessarily look at her. But…. Gannon didn’t die. That’s why she kept looking outside, she didn’t want anyone to see or help him if he came out. When he didn’t die, he probably freaked out in the car n said he was calling n telling his dad. She freaked and went with plan n.
I don’t get what ether off … but she seemed pretty scared of what Al’s reaction would be to whatever had been damaged. I can’t imagine being that scared of someone who supposedly loves you. But her reaction to whatever happened is bizarre …no way she never hurt that kid before, but why bring him home? Because I think she stabbed him Sunday night and then didn’t know what to do because Al was definitely going to see what happened this time.

My theory is she gave him medicine to stop him from talking with his dad that night. She obviously mistreated him over the candle and she took him on a trip to convince him to quieten him and he got worse, and she raged on him, killing him.

I am very interested in how the defense will try and deny that every move she made after the murder was calculated with the idea of getting away with murder! I want to hear how on earth she attacked the police officer during extradition. I never say this, but this case is death penalty worthy.

This interrogation is absolutely damning for her so-called insanity defense. She clearly had the presence of mind to plan (as admitted in the video), recognize right from wrong (as she admits it was “wrong to lie”), and she showed she was capable of crafting detailed stories (lies…and plenty of them).
She ain’t crazy..she’s manipulative and a flat out liar.

Especially when they leave the mother if their children for this demon. The decision to break up his family for a woman who he found more desirable than his wife led to the murder of his child. He was cheating on leticia too and couldn't wait to leave his children to hook up with his other woman in the military with him.

His current wife was the other woman while married to letecia. He was in the national guard with her. Just gotta do a little digging but its true.

I know she has a constitutional right to be tried in court but it’s been proven already that this evil demon was sane. The rest of this trial in my opinion is a waste of taxpayers money. Throw her lying butt in prison, even though I don’t feel like taxpayers should have to pay for her to live. She’s manipulated the system enough. The best we can hope for is prison justice and she gets the life she deserves.

She said gannon was asleep while the fire was going. Logic would tell u to wake him & get him away from the fire not leave him there with the fire burning and go to the main floor & get lena out. Im starting to believe she set the fire, got lena out, giving the fire time to grow around gannon. This story makes no sense just like all the rest of her bs
I wouldn't put it past her. According to her phone video she tried to gaslight him into taking the blame for the fire too
Especially knowing that she had drugged Gannon, the autopsy found medication prescribed to Al in Gannon's system :(
@Mary Bruce - I am absolutely convinced she set the fire, but Gannon awoke before he was overcome. The woman is evil, not legally insane.
God knows how long she had been drugging Gannon, that’s probably why he had stomach issues. It appears she was planning on somehow killing him. Since the drugs didn’t work or she became afraid that would be detected she tried other things like the fire, and that suspicious hiking trip. I believe they mentioned she went by herself and the 2 step kids. Her daughter didn’t go so it was just her and the 2 step kids.
I totally think, the same thing. I always believed, that she started the fire as a way to kill Gannon, but then changed her mind to think of another way to murder him.
the interrogator did an excellent job of lying to the suspect, pretending that she wasn't a suspect. Set a liar to catch a liar.

During questioning regarding the safety & whereabouts of one child in her care she states how ‘overboard with stalking’ she is about another child in her care…her biological child, of course. She’s so cold & chatty throughout everything I’ve seen, no concern or emotion at all. My stomach turns & my heart aches thinking of Gannon’s last hours on earth with her. 💔
I’m there with you. I had to stop listening when testimony came about what he went through - I couldn’t handle it. And I’m an adult only hearing about it. It’s so hard to wrap my head around. I can’t even put it into words, I just want to cry.

FOR THOSE PLACING BLAME ON AL STAUCH: He is an absolute victim. I’m sure that he’s already feeling extreme guilt for even being with this psychopath in the 1st place but hindsight is 20/20. I have NO doubt that had he known the depths of her evil and how this would play out, he would not have allowed her access to his children.
He’s dealing with the most immense grief imaginable and no one needs to contribute to that!!
Of course he could have never imagined murder but to say he has no fault is misguided. He left his children's mother for this whack job and he knew how manipulative she is. He broke up his family because letecia was in his mind more attractive than his wife. He also couldn't stay faithful to letecia and was cheating on her with a woman he was in the guard with. At the end of the day he is at least a little responsible.
He spent 2 yrs in a posting in Alaska! He knew Letecia wasn’t going to move there so, he wasn’t thinking of his children or family. His choices were selfish. We don’t know what he knew about her but, clearly he didn’t trust her parenting! He still left his children with her. Listening to her for 5 minutes I wouldn’t leave my dog with her let alone my children.
Not sure why people are complaining about Al. He was full-time National Guard before he met Leticia. Being in the military requires sacrifices such as moving around and not being home for periods of time. If she couldn't handle this she shouldn't have married him or she should've divorced him!
AL S decided to go for full custody because he didn’t like his ex wife’s boyfriend’s and apparent drug taking. That’s all well and good but he wasn’t going to be the caregiver to these children, he left it in the hands of LS which she clearly didn’t want to do, as she already has a grownup daughter. This is a very sad situation but there must of been red flags before this that were overlooked, maybe Gannon was to scared to tell his dad of her wicked ways 😢

There’s different types of interrogation rooms though. Not everyone gets this treatment. She is very hot and cold and with cold treatment she would have been cold right back. She needed this type of room.

Only the jaded cynics and socio-/psycho-paths walk through life thinking that red flags are signs for the ultimate betrayal. The level of vigilance to live thinking that way is actually pathological and only leads to dispair and hopelessness. Sociopaths rely upon the goodness of normal people. She can't answer a direct question -- every question leads to a 45 minute story that has nothing to do with the question asked. She'd be on the stand for 6 months.

How did Gannon get a little more burned than he should have? She tells us right HERE how Gannon's torture began and why it had to end in his death...because she couldn't explain it (the wounds on Gannon) away to Al. She lost her temper about something, took it out on Gannon, went too far and had to kill him so Al wouldn't find out about it. That's why to this day we haven't heard from her what really happened to Gannon and why it happened. The truth is worse than anything we can imagine so she's letting us imagine.

Sadly, I hate to say this as the family is grieving, but there were so many red flags before she took Gannon's life in such a brutal way. Listening to her talk about Gannon, she hated him. She felt more was given to Gannon than her kid. There is definitely some jealousy and resentment here. I don't understand how the father thought it was a good idea to leave Gannon with her, let alone marry her as a means for convenience. This whole thing just gets me boiling. Your kids should cone first period, instead of finding a partner for yourself. Who you bring onto your life, also means they have access to your kids. There are so many stories that end up like this. Think of your kids first before yourself.
