You don't want to know how many times I have told people to input a service request when they approach me for a technical issue. It is not that I don't want to help; it's the fact that I am helping other people with probably the same you are having as well. An IT Specialist is continually ensuring that services are running and issues are resolved quickly as possible.
thank god for remote desktop applications lol and the randos trying to get immediate service is so real. Put a damn ticket in. I usually act nice and say to put a ticket in because ill forget and i have to do a few things first. But just turn it off and on again! lol
In the IT industry, we call it “techjacking,” lol... my solution is that unless it’s the director of our agency, you get a help desk ticket. If you have to ask if you need a ticket...you probably need a ticket.
