Tony Plana plays an excellent bad guy in this one.
Grew up on the water in New Jersey, so loved this show, the boating stuff was always top notch!
Aftr the show wrapped, Don Johnson went pro as a Powerboat racer. He has been World Powerboating Champion several times.

This Episode is quite intense. You can tell at the end Crockett being quite frustrated and having to resign after chasing that two-faced faced contrabandist creep trying to escape while carrying those unstable, explosive, and obsolete grenades. Feel sorry for the murdered motorboat owner, but He can rest in peace now than both The Creep and Those grenades are no longer in existence. Killed by the valuable explosive objects He tried to steal; how an ironic way to die.

At 3:16, Crockett wasn't wearing sin glasses. At 3:28, he was.
I doubt that whilst running north of 50 knots, he would remove them and put them back on.

Miami Vice was the essence of coolness. That is something that the nerdy kids of this generation could never understand or replicate.
