I’m late to commenting on this so someone else may have said this already and I feel like you touched on this idea as well..but I see this song possibly being 2 different ways. Yes, there could be that one person in our life that causes us to love ourselves and want to carry on and to bring us from the bottom. But also when Yeonjun wakes up by himself at the end and knowing that Namjoon had a role in the lyrics..it makes me feel like at the end of the day I should be saying to myself “I know I love you.” As in I know deep down that I love myself. Like I’m convincing myself that I DO love myself even on the days that I feel like I don’t and life is really hard. This video had me in tears. I lost it when I saw Yeonjun wake up at the end. It left me heartbroken. Out of all the Kpop videos I have seen, this is the best music video of all. " In this world with full of zero, you are my one and only " which interpreting abt parents caring, loving and understanding for their child. As we can see in the MV, yeonjun’s parents were arguing, it's always like that, that's why it triggered Yeonjun's brain which cause him to have a mental illness ( idk what exactly it is, but it's close to HALLUCINATIONS) we could also see Yeonjun driving, and on his wrist is a green ribbon, which symbolizes and logo of MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS ( YJ is portraying someone who has an mental illness with all those hallucinations that he went through and raising an awareness by having his own ribbon on his wrist) He wants to escape the bitter and painful reality of living in a toxic environment that's why he created a fantasy where he's with his friend and happily hanging out with them. They were also happy about burning the car so they don’t have to go back to the shit reality! The mini pool inside the big pool could also represent their youth slowly fading away. In run away, they were swimming in a big pool becuase they were filled with youth and innocence back then, but now as they continue to grow up, the pool gets smaller symbolizing them losing their innocence and growing out of their adolescence, but they are still trying to hold on to that the little bit of youth that they have.

This video had me in tears. I lost it when I saw Yeonjun wake up at the end. It left me heartbroken. Out of all the Kpop videos I have seen, this is the best music video of all. Everytime I hear it I can't help but tear up. It hurts seeing Yeonjun in the beginning with his parents fighting and then him finding happiness with the members. Best comeback I've experienced. Some of the lyrics that really hurt listening to are "I'm full of problems, lovesick", "I was fine to die", "use me like a drug", "I'm a loser in this game" :(
I also cried not just to the mv but to the music itself. I salute TXT for delivering different genres of music. Proud MOA ❤️

I think it was pretty obvious but many people dont see it☺ yeonjun was simply imagining this whole scenario like after running away he meet his friends and had a great time with them but in reality he was just dreaming,no friends,no adventures,and simply reality hit hard when he wake up, so the whole thing with his members is just him projecting a better moment he dreamed of in his life,having friends which whom u can just escape reality and its more harder when it just in u f* mind and nothing is like u want.
Also RM helped in some "part" he did not really co-write the song,they did explain it,after shihyuk was stuck in some part he reached RM and namjoon was happy helping them,of course it means he did participate in the some part but the whole story or lyrics were bang shihyuk,many people dont really understand it but even with bts he was part of most of their discographies and did incorporated RM works,while suga and jhope worked mostly on their rap part. RM like slow rabbit or elcapitain were all bighit producers and most of the groups debuted under bang shihyuk directive. RM worked the most on his group tracks but as a co writer,co composer,co producer. I would love to know what namjoon added to the song,chorus,or members lines they were all verry impactful.

The whole MV is not abt the typical love story of a guy and a girl but instead it revolves around Family, Friends and self. " In this world with full of zero, you are my one and only " which interpreting abt parents caring, loving and understanding for their child. As we can see in the MV, yeonjun’s parents were arguing, it's always like that, that's why it triggered Yeonjun's brain which cause him to have a mental illness ( idk what exactly it is, but it's close to HALLUCINATIONS) we could also see Yeonjun driving, and on his wrist is a green ribbon, which symbolizes and logo of MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS ( YJ is portraying someone who has an mental illness with all those hallucinations that he went through and raising an awareness by having his own ribbon on his wrist)
He wants to escape the bitter and painful reality of living in a toxic environment that's why he created a fantasy where he's with his friend and happily hanging out with them. But the truth is, it's just all part of Yeonjun's imagination and hallucinations. We can see him staring at the beta fishes floating, those were the members inside of it bc they are just figments of his imaginations.

The fishes in the fish tank represent the boys in this world. They desperately want to leave the fish tank and explore the outside world. It also symbolises the envy yeonjun feels as he sees the fish with other fishes together. While he is all alone and the other boys are just his hallucinations. He is shown as a depressed lonely teen on anti depressants medicine . Yeonjun is fed up with his parents fighting and he steals the car keys, and runs away from his house all alone. But he thinks he is with his 4 friends. In reality, he is all alone
Another things is at the part where he was walking out of the room, when it transitioned to the outside, the fact that u can only hear yeonjun’s voice and some MOAs (txt’s fandom) think that’s it’s only Yeonjun’s footsteps that u can hear which implies that he is by himself. They were also happy about burning the car so they don’t have to go back to the shit reality!
The mini pool inside the big pool could also represent their youth slowly fading away. In run away, they were swimming in a big pool becuase they were filled with youth and innocence back then, but now as they continue to grow up, the pool gets smaller symbolizing them losing their innocence and growing out of their adolescence, but they are still trying to hold on to that the little bit of youth that they have.
