What's up guys!? In today's video I am doing something a little bit different than usual! I've been seeing so many people buy lost airline suitcases and filming a video on what they managed to find inside! I thought i'd have my own go at this and decided to purchase lost / unclaimed luggage from an auction! Let's see what we can find inside...

The concept of this makes me feel sad - what if they aren't bothering to create a successful system to return luggage to owners because they can just not bother and sell if off for profit? :(
I was thinking the same. So many companies losing luggages lately🤔
@@lindseyscammell1431 Are you sure everyone gets compensated? Cause I was buying tickets some days ago and companies are asking fees if you wanna be compensated in case they lose your luggage.
In the US they have to contact the owner and then five them 90 days to claim the luggage before it's available for sale.
No thats not true. U can buy it with insurance, which u should always do. plus they usually sell it for very low money.
There is a guy in youtube that used gps tracking on his package that got lost and this is literally the case. Companies know it is cheaper if they just compensate you and don't actually bother doing any real searching despite what they state they do.
I feel so sorry for these people. Wouldn’t want anyone buying my own stuff :(

@@moonbineunwoo5863 even if it was gifted/sentimental why would you want your stuff to be thrown away? that's so wasteful. I would want my stuff to be enjoyed by somebody if I was never going to see it again. Let's just fill our landfills even more to avoid hurt feelings over sentimental items..

I feel bad for all owners of lost baggages. I hope this does not happen to me when I travel. Perhaps the airlines don't bother anymore because they can just sell it. Tip I learned from my mom, put identification and your contact no. inside the luggage and pray that the new owner will have a guilty conscience. 😐
This kinda sad and a little infuriating... imagine seeing your own stuff being unpacked by someone, knowing an airline company made money of it ... that really sucks ... I'm sure those companies don't try THAT hard to give it back 😒
@@mamarobyn she's enjoying it a bit too much and hoping for something really expensive 😅 but I was sad even with the perfume, I collect perfumes and I treasure them very much, I would be soooo sad if it got lost... they're not so cheap either
never understood the concept of these videos because if i had lost a luggage, id be so mad and to see someone going through all my personal things.......
But I’ve heard that lost luggage stays there for more than a month or three months that you have time to order your luggage

It’s either this or it goes to thrift shops or the trash. And most of it goes to the trash after awhile if there is no retail store that sells lost luggage

Caroline was going to a wedding, probably a bridesmaid.That's why she had:
-white dress: day at the beach before the wedding
-formal black skirt+white top ensamble (rehearsal dinner)
-black dress: day of the wedding
-denim ensemble (with the white top) lunch next day
The bag was new, slightly formal than she normally uses, that's why it had the tags.
The toy was to one of the kids in wedding (maybe even a nephew) to keep him entertained.

Caroline is in her early 40’s on a business trip and had a few days down time so she was able to actually relax for those days while taking in some sights! And she brings her favorite book with her to read at night! Her son loves The Joker and saw that figurine for him whilst exploring and purchased it for him. We’ll call him Marcus. 🤣
Caroline is 24, she works in a law firm as office admin, she’s on second year studying.
She went on an overseas holiday with her partner to celebrate their anniversary.
She likes to look good, but also be comfortable at the same time.
She was hoping for her partner to propose to her while out for dinner wearing her black dress- and they did!
They enjoyed the rest of their holiday and made incredible memories… until she landed at the airport and realised her suitcase had been lost never to be seen again

Caroline, in her late 30s, recently divorced decides to spend her divorce settlement money on a lavish holiday to Ibiza. She plans on lazing by the shore reading her favourite book slapping on the Australian branded sun lotion because it’s Australian it’s obviously the best 😉 she also plans to hit up the clubs and soak in the post divorce energy is her gorgeous black dancing dress. Unfortunately for Caroline after she stops off at Comic con to meet her favourite Joker actor, her suitcase is misplaced and ends up at an auction house and into the hands of Roxasaurs

Reselling someone's luggage seems so sad... I would feel so guilty for going through it and keeping it even if I paid for it. They didn't consent to this.
Also, Caroline's story: She's 22 years old woman from the UK - She just went through a break up and wanted to get away from her life with some friends. So, she booked a trip to France. While in France, she visited some museums and parties. While at a party, she bumped into a toy maker and they hit it off. He gifted her the joker doll - she thought it was strange but took it anyways to give her to nephew. On the way back to the UK, her luggage got lost and was devastated. She will never get to wear her French fake clothes again! Now, she's still single, sad, and without her luggage.

Caroline is from the uk, studying abroad in Italy. She is a fashionable young one, hence the quirky two piece set (good for an instagram post in some cute Italian scenery) she came back for a last visit to Italy to pick up the last pieces she left behind including that joker doll that the guy she went on a few dates with thought was a fun quirky gift (they have watched The joker movie together) she actually hates the doll but can't separate from it because it's a souvenir of good times abroad and she thinks she can always recycle it as a Christmas gift if she gets bored of it. She packs all last bits and while she strolls around the city on the way to the flight that will take her back home she can't resist a last purchase (the suede handbag)

Caroline is 26 and she was visiting her fiancé. She had bought the most pieces which she knew he would like on her but had to to also pack her weird see through jacket because that's what her actual taste is. She is secretly a little quirky. She also bought a joker figurine for her fiancé's nephew for brownie points but sadly...the suitcase never made out to her....The end

On our last vacation our luggage was lost and it was no fun at all! Lucky for me they found it and delivered it to us after 3 days, but those three days were a nightmare.. I don't think anyone would enjoy having their luggage sold!

Caroline is 100% from the uk and 30+ as Bay hasn’t been around for years! Kinda getting job interview vibes with the tank top and skirt, an event for the strapless dress, hoody for the airport. Definitely a beach holiday with that white sun dress although no swimwear (or underwear 🤔)

I always fly with my bras, undies, expensive items, and at least one outfit in my carry on in case my checked bag gets lost

It’s really not that common in the US for these stores to exist. I believe there is only the one store that Hope and Safiya went to.

If people just put luggage tags on their suitcase with name, phone number and email then the person who find the luggage can just contact them, I assumed it was common to do this as this is what I do to avoid it being sold off

Caroline definitely was going somewhere special. Most likely a good friend’s destination wedding. She likes simple and neutral clothing but also likes to shake up her look once in awhile. Caroline enjoys getting collectibles for her nephew and he’d be over the moon to get the Joker figuring.

I would like to think that Caroline treated herself to a quiet sunny vacation for a weekend 🧳 and that she met a man who she spent every minute with talking about their dreams & aspirations. I think they both felt a tremendous spark 💥 & even though they both felt the immense connection, each thought the other would think they were crazy so they just said goodbye. But, as she was about to board the plane ✈️, she spontaneously decided to turn around & run 🏃♀️ only to see him also running in after her 🏃♂️. Maybe they're still together to this day 👩❤️👨 & the luggage, already on the plane, was left behind & she never left so she never went back for it!! ❤️
Also, maybe her nephew back home LOVES the Joker. 🦇🃏

It is not "common"... for us to have luggage stores in the US however the specific one you showed in alabama, is a very specific store that's been around a bit ... I stumbled onto it online a few years ago I would like to go there sometime.... that's all part of the fun not knowing what you're going to get❤️❤️

I usually travel to my dad with a huge highly recognizable pink luggage to fit all my makeup and clothes in. If somebody bought it right now as a lost luggage they'd be surprised. I've got some sneakers in, flip flops, a pair of heels a huge and heavy bag of makeup (all liquid stuff) a bunch of clothes plus some that I made myself (like some flowy pants and a skort I finished in time before I left). We did actually loose a luggage once but we were lucky enough to get it back.
I have lost makeup in a rental car at an airport. I never saw that again and it was my favorite makeup items.
Feels like this bag got lost on the way to a holiday, with the new items and full products. I feel bad for her haha.
