The new pirate’s parts are also useful for a range of 1700’s/1800’s era figures. I even turned the steampunk operator into a wounded WWI British officer by adding a satchel, a new right arm, and a helmet. Finding the Wolfpack beast master has been a real challenge near me!
The narrative building/framing of your reviews is extremely refreshing and charming. I’m very happy to have found your vids! You’ve sold me on some sets
Congrats on scoring the Wolfpack guys. Here the scalpers already finished everything off. I like the pirate and steampunk guy, the cat guy and the monster as well for cute fantasy. The racer is great for space. The cupid is fun, you should look into using the wings as building decorations as well. And the bow is interesting. Will have to look at using it somewhere. Not sure where yet.
Nice Thom! Well done hunting down some Wolfpack Beastmasters! I like your idea of making them rangers. I still haven’t had any luck getting them yet, but I’m certain my luck will change soon 😂 I’m excited for the 2 new Creator 3-in-1 castles to be released later. One castle has been rebranded as Medieval Horse Knight Castle. I wonder if we’ll get a moulded horse (in a new color - black, white, or gray), or a brick-built horse. Plus there’s the 3-in-1 Unicorn Castle that’ll be released, which I’m also excited for, especially if it’s got some nice colors to it. I like a colorful castle! I love taking the CMFs and making new factions with them. Keep up the good work!
This is great! The pirate lady is a natural conversion for customs, but your creativity unlocked the potential for the cupid! This is one of the things I love about Lego. I am thinking of using the arm for the astronomer kid (without the prosthetic) in a custom veteran soldier. The bright light orange matches the tournament knight CMF. I just need to find the right torso. Happy building!
Nicely done! Glad that someone can customize the cupid and have fun. But personally I dislike this minifig so much, that I decided not to collect this series at all. Maybe I'll buy the Wolfpack Beastmaster, but only one copy
@@tbsince1954 I'm not against the current concept of CMF that has figures fom multiple themes (and I collect not only Castle) and I like the previous similar series (the one that was before the Space one). It's just the current one is not for me, just personal preference. But it is LEGO and it is customizable and I like that some people make interesting characters out of it
Yes, almost ceremonial garb while still acting as a body guard to the king. I heard that there are these lords in England who have duties that include showing up at the Palace three times a year in their tri cornered hats and plumes and special uniforms simply to guard the king. That got me thinking…
Glad the flame thing worked for you .Have you given any thought to adding Centaur's to you castle world ? Since your channel ,I now get why people get into castles . Very cool . Thanks .
There is a Harry Potter set that has 2 in it .Also this set has a larger figure build that could give you giants .I cant find my booklet so I will look it up and see who has it and how much.I wiil get back with you in a bit.
Hi Thom Wow! What a great idea, very creative use for the cupid figure. The D&D line set the bar very high and will be a tough act to follow for s27, with the exception of the beast master. The green dragon 3in1 is excellent too. It's going to be great for story telling and MoC building. You might like set #76434 i think it works well to build around also. Thom have you looked at / interested in or planning to order any of the "BrickLink Designer Program" series 4 sets? I cant help think of you when looking at the "Siege Encampment" set. If anyone could spin a tale around that set i think it would be you! Be well.
I have the Spider set, I just need to clean it from the fire late last year. I haven't really played in the BrickLink play yard yet. But I really like the idea of the Siege Encampment-- a bunch of small sets in one!
Well, I only added the uncustomized new Wolfpack figure to go along in a band with the Wolfpack character from the Medieval Town Square which I customized with a quiver above the cape and dual-molded legs sporting black boots. But I came up with a similar idea when it came to the Pretorian Guard theme, because I had some old torsos with the crossed halberds from the 80s Lion Knights garrison and combined them with the new shield that came with the 10305 castle. Equipped with that and silver clip-on halberds (compared to old brown single-mold pieces) the soldiers stand out from the standard Lion Knights and serve as an elite guard to royalty or important civilians like the tax collector.
The new Lego Ninjago sets have a fantastic small green dragon and some dragon warrior carrier with baby dragons on their back, I just got a bunch for my castle theme. They’re cheap too 👍🏻
My first thoughts on customizing this series were for the jetpack racer and the spacewalk astronaut from the space theme last year. Swap the heads between two of my extras and now I have a male and female version of each. The pirate from this wave will likely be used to build a faction mixing pieces with the d&d bard's and following the cleric from the Red Dragon's tale set. Wolfpacks will likely be mixed with parts from the Barbarian's from a couple series back, the witch Queen from D&D, and I will be customizing one of the Marvel Werewolf by night figs to join them as well. I've also seen some cool uses for the steampunk Inventor torso backwards and I will likely play around with that a bit too. For any fantasy customs I will likely mix in some D&D races with the plentiful spare heads. I have a few Boogeymen as well and plan to at least swap out the horns on a couple to make distinguishable monsters with them. I may have to get a couple extra cupids now too and see what I can come up with for them as well now.
The cupid minifigure was my least favorite from the recent series and just got tossed in a bin. After watching your video I might very well copy this great idea. I was lucky and managed to get one of the pirate figures and plan to use her to captain the ship from the Triwizard Tournament: The Arrival set, which is a very medieval looking ship. The set also has a carriage that fits into the fantasy theme as well. I am eager to see if Emperor Nograd's evil plans can be thwarted by King Cuthbert.
If people have no problem charging +$30 USD for a "Spooky Fright Knight", then I had NO problem buying all the Wolfpack Beastmasters from my nearest store. Sorry Collectors/Scalpers, you created this monster.
I am still looking for a Wolfpack figure, couldn’t find one yet. But two days ago I went into a supermarket in another part of town to get some lunch, they had three packs of d‘n‘d figures, one of them turned out to be the Dragonborn which I hadn’t found before either. So there is my hope. By the way, I have been to the Lego store and saw the 3in1 dragon built and was surprised by it’s size, bigger than I thought. It was already on sale for 40€ at one shop, sooner or later I will pick one up I guess.
Keep looking! I'm surprised at how fast these sold even at my Lego store. Hopefully Lego ships a bunch more and hopefully we can snag more through the Pick a Brick, since Wolfpack is in the Town Square. Cheers!

Cool idea on that Steampunk guy. I have to give him some thought. Hope you find some Wolfmaster figs soon!

These are all great ideas. I haven't looked carefully at the other figures yet, and I love the idea of using wings as building ornaments! Cheers!
@@tbsince1954 I saw some fun things being done with the wing arms of the pteranodon fan and the harpy from a while back/
Love that Cupid customized👍🏻
Thank you! Loved doing it. Looking forward to seeing what else I can come up with!

Cool stuff Tom! Keep it coming!

It is exciting to me. Having all kinds of fun!
You're onto something but it feels more of a toga then armour. These heart guards could fit into a Roman empire or some place where it's hot.

The new steampunk inventor has really nice legs and the back of the torso for castle customs (grabbed two so far)
