If a gallerist's mind does not click right there and then about who she could show your work to, a few people that she could email or call to invite to see that she has new work in the gallery just walk out of the gallery because yes it will not work out. Random people will rarely buy. Very well done. Yes it would not have worked out.

I parteciped to a virtual gallery for italian artists and two days after, I recived the reply from Artfinder: i big no. I try to go one and I must to do. Whatever, i think that one thing every emerging artist must to have and to obtain: the footwork of a boxer. Without it we go to recive punches and a ko from these. If we try to move on sides we can find the path to through a punch and win a match. Build something from zero is like climb a mountain, we can not start without preparation and we can not cut bait in the middle of climbing.

This could illustrate what % of an artist's income is actual art sales vs teaching, ad revenue etc 2. what is your opinion on commercial art or artists like Romero Britto for example? This video was really good! I had to watch it twice to be sure I got all of it. I need to figure out how I can take advantage of my carrier as a photographer somehow, I did try to teach about photography and people really liked when I did, but I myself don’t really feel ok about it. I cut out things in my life that I don’t feel comfortable doing. I’d rather be poor and happy mindset. But there must be a middle road somehow! Just need to figure it out! I still have no clue but I’m sure there is something here that will give me a clue or two. I’ll come back and watch this one again! U da best! ❤️

Good video👍🏾 I enjoyed the personal story that illustrated how difficult it is for an artist to get even the toenail on the toe in the door. I've been thinking on this a lot lately because my daughter is young but already feels hopeless with the thought of making money from painting. She sold 3 small pieces last year and it has been crickets since. The situation got critical this week with the talks of Anna Weyant dating the gallery founder that her works are in.....🤔 My daughter's question: If Weyant went from selling her art at 400 dollars to now over a million....did the art improve or is dating your gallery founder the quickest way to getting "known" and paid as a painter? Of course, I am a mother so I am sure my advice was biased 🤣 I think your advice of looking into all opportunities (except the one above) is a good idea.
