Only Sarah can make a review of a Mercedes cargo van hilarious, entertaining, and also legit highly informative. Interesting that it comes with a mummy. Thank you, Sarah. 👍👍👍
👍👌👏😁😁😁😁😁
Sarah could road test a pair of sneakers and it would be fun.
Absolutely loved the bagged hostage clips during the road test. All recorded on "Cargo-Cam" too. Only on Sarah-n-Tuned will you see something as clever as that!
Did you think that was a bag of Angel Food Cake? I didn't..
@@ephjay6t87 I wondered if it would be Mick Beth.
That is an impressive drive shaft at 2:03. Love the Binford top.
Ya luv the cleavage as well ( • )( • )🤣🤣
Agreed. The modified binford top is on point.
@@ce2flaco I need a pair of Binford Tools!
Lol ngl was hoping a boob would pop out 😂
The nostalgic home improvement outfit is on point for a utility van review!
You sum up your love for all things car related at just before 9:50. “This thing is the funnest car review I have done in a while.” Said with a huge Sarah grin. And you could see you were 100% serious. Love it!
All the specialty contractors we deal with here in NYC (electricians, plumbers etc) have these things. They are awesome.
Your next challenge build should be a 70s custom van with all the bells and whistles they were fun in the 70s.
I want to see an AMG conversion
With the price of utilities and general home ownership these days, I’m seriously considering selling my house and moving into a van lol.
1000 a month for oil guess i could buy a nice van
That's what black rock investments wants you to do
Even with boondocking a lot the operating costs are still pretty steep if you move around much.
I want a small house and lots of property.
Get a van down by the river!
Sabine Schmitz (RIP) was famous for running an older version of that van around the Nürburgring, I believe with Jeremy Clarkson in the passenger seat.
It was Richard Hammond and a Ford Transit.
@@CerberusTenshi Clarkson would have bailed before the halfway point. Hammond would have hung on to the bitter end. May would have watched from the start line and wondered out lout what was taking so long! Lol!
@@jfan4reva On the first try, Hammond was in the van with Sabine, quite scared. It's available here on RUclips. On the second attempt, for weight reduction, everything went out, including Hammond. XD
At 12:15 there is someone in the van 😅😅😅
8kN is 8 kiloNewton which is 8000 Newton, and 800 daN is 800 decaNewton which is also 8000 Newton. Just international units for force. It is the force you can apply on these tie down shackles. It is approximately 800 kg (kilograms) or 1764 lbs. I hope it helps. Thanks for the great videos and reviews. Always fun to watch. Amazing job Sarah.
Hey, Alain Poncelet, that's fascinating info, thanks for posting your comment! 👍🙂
I'd watch Sarah review a broken skateboard. Such a goofball (in the best sense of the word)! Your videos make my day...goofier. Thanks for that.
A broken skateboard?!?
@@SarahnTuned We'll get James May's buddy to repair it with a Mecanno set.
May had a motorcycle built using Mecanno bits and pieces....skateboard a no-brainer.
@@SarahnTuned I'd watch you review anything. I'm here to geek out on the technical aspects of what ever you're doing but I'm staying for the goofiness. Weird compliment, I know.
I love the joy you always get during the breaking test.
Great job on the video Sarah! Thanks for making it.
I would ONLY watch a van review from Sarah, not any other human on earth! The Binford Tools shirt and boots is 🔥
Hilarious Cargo Cam! Always entertaining and informative. Keep up the great work!
I love that you crack yourself up, this vehicle assessment was so much fun to watch.
Absolutely awesome to see so much different cars on this channel. From trucks to sport cars, vans love it 😎👌
They are so common in my native Netherlands that I don't notice them anymore. Thank you Sarah for renewing my interest in these great vans 🤗
Sarah, best car review ever!!! You really had some fun with this one. I especially liked the "cargo" B Roll. I literally laughed out loud, each time.
Great review Sarah!
Loved the Tool Time out fit!
So great, thanks! Thinking of buying one of these to tour the country in retirement. Seeing one of your honest reviews is super helpful 👌🏼
Great review Sarah, we used to drive these and the mini bus versions in the British forces, in Germany back in the 90s, they were great to thrash and throw around. Keep up the great video's.
Never thought you would do a review on a sprinter van. But as always, nailed it!
Barely started watching and I'm totally into this review!! Thanks Sarah!!
VAN TIME VAN GANG WHERE WE AT
FINALLY A VAN REVIEW
Here 🤣🤣🤣💯💯💯🤟🤟
I want all the companies to send her all their vans now, this review is a total hoot, Sarah is so creative!
Delightful review and timely considering all the van living content.
Awesome review! Informative but you made it lots of fun!
Use one of these for a year when I used it work for a shop helping do deliveries.
They are made to be used day in day out and you don't notice that you're in a van most of the time.
They drive better with stuff in the back. As you lower the center of gravity
Looking Great Sarah and obviously in your element having a blast! Enjoy! J
Shaggin Wagon!! Nice shirt! Tool time classic. 👌
Having a van looks like fun. Lots of mods are possible - lifted (or lowered!) suspension, new wheels, stage 3 tune... Just its detailing will take forever.
Vans are excellent!!! I’ve owned a bunch, now had my 1997 GMC high top Savanna for like 10 years. I have done a custom interior, had some paintwork done, added magnaflow dual exhaust for some 5.7L rumble, wheel spacers nice treads….vans are super useful!!
Loved the review! As a 48 state truck driver, I have noticed a huge increase in Sprinter Vans rolling down our interstates.
Love the variety of vehicles you review! Watched the Stelvio video yesterday, and this today- too much fun 🎉
I love your enthusiasm, great review.
Absolutely loved this detailed review! One of the best ones yet! I've always admired Sprinter vans and their ability to endure years of commercial wear and tear. Fascinating seeing underneath and the quality of construction, looks simpler than I'd imagined but on the other hand, the engine looks like a sophisticated power house. My, vans sure have come along way and this one looks like a lot of thought has gone into the design. Would love to own one of these with their commanding king of the road vantage point. Enjoyable-ful video!👍🤓
Pixie Stix!! Its no wonder these are so popular with the overlander groups. They are nice and ride nice and are sorta peppy. I like the shot glass holders!! Great review as always. Happy week!
I have never ever even entertained the idea of buying this or anything like it. What an amazing and entertaining review!
A few years ago I spent a whole day driving a Renault Master, which is just as big as this Mercedes, with only some differences as FWD and coil springs all around. I was surprised of how nice and “pleasurable” it was 😀
Love the review and the “Tool Time” Binford shirt 😆, great throw back.
That thing could carry the entire Dyck family, including Anita. I'd love to have the 4x4 version. Stay well.
Once....
Brilliant as always . I love my van 👍
Thanks for the video Sarah 🐧🌻
I work for Mercedes here in the paint shop for these vans. Very cool to see you do a review on one!
FINALLY a Sprinter Van review!
Nothing like getting a review of a new style shaggin wagon with a stylish review to go with all the fun things you can do with it like shag austin powers :)
I have a w166 with the same engine but with more power since it’s for an suv and it’s very economical and quiet! Glad to see they were still selling these engines until recently
Interesting review Sarah.
thank you i enjoyed it as an ASMR delight.
we need more van reviews like this! :)
I never owned a van personally but I have a dream of getting one in the future and convert it to a camper van.
But I have driven a few at work. Non as big as this though. I now drive a VW Transporter long version and its a pain to park in the city, and this Sprinter must be a nightmare to park in the city :(
Finally you reviewed the vehicle I own
Makes for a great 4x4 camper van
Although now they switched to AWD
great review!
I don't drive vans often, but when I do, I feel I am on a mission doing something purposeful and enjoy driving them! Great van review Sarah.
One of my daughters had a fairly old medium wheelbase Merc Sprinter van conversion to tour Europe in. That had the 5 cyl 'million mile engine'. Fantastic bit of kit.
Held hostage for a van review? Yup, sure was. Finally a drive in a vehicle I own! Sarah, you've delivered the goods on this one. The wax soda bottle, the memory makes my jaw hurt... So funny, delightful, and charming, certainly no plain brown wrapper on this parcel!
Nicely packaged comment Jay Lepisto, delivered with aplomb!
Drove these with work for a few months. Manual gearbox. Actually great fun to drive.
Keep up the great work and assessments
Your reviews are great. 😊👍👍
This is the best one I've seen, the diesel engine is awesome
Cargo camera footage was a nice touch, only Sarah could get away with that. Great job/review.
These things are seriously badass. I want to covert one into a tiny house van thing so bad.
You can buy a house for that much $.
@Weltraum Affe a rundown 1960s single wide trailer in a trailer park cost between 150-200k where I live. If you want a move in ready house, it would cost at least 400k for a 2 bedroom 1 bath.
Amazing. I have about as much interest in a cargo van as do I a Kia Rio. Yet here I am watching from beginning to end somewhat mesmerized.
As a van Nomad, this was a very entertaining and informative video. 😁
Vans!!!! What ever next, loving What you're doing, go go Sarah 😍👍👍
Really nice vehicle, especially if you're into bikes and need a safe way to transport them around. Miss my older Merc MB150..
Had that engine in an e-class for a few years. I really liked it. It is the engine they did the long range records in Larede at the early 2000's Where they broke the 50k km, 100k km and 100k miles records if i remember correct. (not just for Diesel cars, but for all cars above 2L Engines) They ran 3 e-classes that the FIA sealed from the factory (they took customer cars and these 3 customers got their cars a tiny bit later as they had to build them again to spec) almost full throttle for a month only stopping for driver changes, filling up the fuel, oil changes.
Props to you for the Home Improvement Heidi throwback.
Sarah These trucks 10 years ago rusted out quickly around the doors and rubber panels here in Canada A lot of owners where not happy
Where else can you see a giant cargo van reviewed like it's a sports car? 😀 I've never driven anything quite like this, though over the years I've driven different Ford, Chevy and Dodge vans. As well as rental trucks, some of which were built on van chassis (others were pickup based). For that matter, I learned to drive a stick-shift in a Ryder GMC 18' box truck. Fun times! As always, your outfit was perfect for the occasion!
Luv your videos!!! You rock!!!👍
I love your binford gear!
Nothing strange about this review. The size with these things, have done some work with Mercedes-Benz and they loaned us a long wheel base crew cab for while, you could still have a party in the back, or roll around in a sleeping bag🤣. Very comfy on long journeys too.
That rely on the beans test was sweet. Loved the Binford shirt from your past video
Thanks Heidi... Love the Binford shirt.
Now *THIS* is the type of content that catches my attention!
Great Review. I like the Ink
Great video great review wow you could haul a lot of cassette tapes in there
I love how Sarah's red Benford top goes with the red paint job of the Sprinter! I swear this van begs for a "shaggin' wagon" conversion!
Nice to see Mercedes didn’t over engineer a cargo van. Looks like you could work on it yourself.
Would love to see you review a Ford Transit Connect. Wish Ford would put a hybrid or a 2.0 eco boost in it.
Thank you Sarah!
Best car review ever Sarah. From color matching your socks and shirt with the van to the Kidnapped Sarah rolling around in the back in a sleeping bag.
You spoiled us with Easter eggs on this one
Hi Sarah, about the subject of differential type: on rear-wheel drive vehicles, GENERALLY, if you rotate a wheel and the other wheel rotates the same direction, it’s a posi. If it rotates in the opposite direction, it’s an open differential.
I was driving those when I was at University and had a job at a car rental station all the time. But it were the first two generations. Fiat Ducato (RAM ProMaster) and Iveco Dailys as well. They were going 100 - 105 mls per hour at the Autobahn but they always have been empty and we have some wind in northern Germany. Sometimes I was sweating blood but still beeing with the pedal to the metal.
We used to call them 'Düsseldorfer' when I was a trainee at Mercedes-Benz 'cos they were build there.
Sarah's new parts van!
The hostage in the back was funny but, the candy sticks you were talking about back in the day were called "Pixie Sticks". I loved those crazy things... Great video Sarah!
thats a first time I watched a van review :D and I enjoyed it actually :)
Great video, the van was nice too.
I think this is cargo van review #3. All in red, and all awesomeness!
Best review ever!
haha great video the cargo cam was hilarious.
Yup. Vans are fun. ¾ ton 90's conversion vans, or '08 toyota vans. Love 'em. This looks like a pretty rad van. I'd love it for work, or camper conversion.
Love the home improvement shirt!
Great review
I like watching videos by Sarah :)
How funny, My brother in law ordered one and picks it up tomorrow. It's a Jayco Terrain 4x4 fully self contained. Can't wait to borrow it :)
The comedic editing on this vid was A++ 😂
They keep getting better
I love my chevy 3500 extended van. Never breaks down.
My mom has an 08 mercedes GL 320 CDI with the same engine. It's always a joy to drive a Mercedes diesel. Shame it's being discontinued.
I LOVE driving vans, they're always a vehicle meant for productivity, owned or leased in a way which makes your workday convenience and expediency more important than dings and scratches. Vans are by far the type of cars, I've driven closest to their limit.
