FIRST RIDE ON A SPEEDWAY BIKE, SO MUCH FUN!!

Not only was it my first ride on a speedway bike but also a motorbike in general! So much fun and definitely will be back to try and push it more and hopefully figure out the skill! Thanks to Wayne for helping me out and running the track days. More information follow the website......

evel knievel Cheers mate! It’s at Scunthorpe track and it’s run by an ex racer Wayne Carter. If you google Scunthorpe speedway day I’m sure it will pop up.

there hard to ride slow you gotta get that back wheel spinning

It comes down to getting very aggressive with it into the corners. You wick-it-up going into the corners, the bike situated that the rear wheel is driving you toward the infield. It's sort of counter-intuitive. I once had a short ride on a fellow mechanic's Jawa years ago and it took courage to point the thing with the back wheel.
