Its so cool when Disney movies are made in America and when needed to voice so for other countries the language for the sentences of the song change into different words and ways good job Disney.
musical maturity is realizing this is literally the one of best arrangements disney has ever made. it's so dramatic and vivid- the dynamics are perfect, and the instruments are so smooth- you don't have to be watching the movie to just imagine everything that is happening. it's a piece that can take you on a journey without visuals. even the singers voice just has this wonderful unique tone that is perfect for the character. this song is everything really- it's a waltz, it's a party, it's a cinematic masterpiece.
Same French title song as in the animated movie but the lyrics have changed even for keeping "Plat du jour" instead of "Soupe du jour" just like in 1991. Guillaume Beaujolais also voiced Hans in Frozen and Lord Farquad in Shrek.
Why nobody talks about how Angry Lumiére sounds like in some parts 😂😂😂 But wait, ”tristounettes” really means ”me”???? Isn’t it more like sadness or shadows????
Why does the French version sound more appropriate than the English version? I remember watching this in French class back when I was in grade 9… #canadian
Anyone know what "les fillettes tristounettes" or "gloomy girls" Stands for in this content...? I dont understand why its in there, or what it means... what girls????
I was about to say Mrs Potts sounds a lot like Gothel in Tangled and apparently it's her ^^ But I can't stand Lumière here... Seiously he sounds so ridiculously over the top and overacting it's unbearable x(
He sounds so real in French!
He sings it like he means it.
Even Mg his fantastic but he didint really nailed in my opinion.

Everything sounds better in french !! The most beautiful language in the world !!
As a half-French girl, that means a lot. Merci beaucoups! 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄
As a person learning French I have to say that only applies to speech
Text is a nightmare
You will not be hearing a « merci » from me
I love France🗼 and I love this version of the song better. 😥😻💙
Lumiere is adorable in French!

This sounds so good
Merci.
It’s great!
I preferrrrr this one!!!!
Did it say beg for mercy??????????????
Even the français version of the cartoon is just as entertaining. Music to mine ears. Halalalala ooo! 😅

It's a cute version of the word "triste" who can be translate by "sad ; Sadly ; Sadness"
Is it normal if at "Et nous, on veille au reste", I listen "Et noob, on veille au reste"?
🤯
I love french sooo much! But I did not expect Lumiere to sound so... maniacal? I prefer the old French version best.

Did this Ewan McGregor sing this?
No, the singer is Guillame Beaujolais
disney portuguêsfrançais thanks, he sounds a little bit like Ewan though :p
I watch anime in its original language.
I like the Obi-Wan version better.
I have no idea why i laughed 😂 and yeah Obi-Wan lumière is kinda better
Same
Actually you made a mistake. Its My Dear "Lady" Not Girl. Lady.
I really wish that they could’ve stuck to the original lyrics
They did so... If you mean that they should have translated it straightly, then i hope you know how terrible that would sound like.
The French version is better

But that's part of what makes Lumiere who he is. Plus, beats Ewan McGregor's inconsistent French accent.
@@SirBlackReeds exactly.. It's kinda the point.. He's a character who's overplayed on purpose. He's dramatic, lol
Punaise que c'est ignoble cette version française u_u une honte c'est même pas les paroles du dessin animé en plus XD en VO c'est mieux
Cest pas ignoble faut pas abusé xd
C'est tout simplement une nouvelle interprétation, pour coller à la nouvelle version anglaise :) J'aime bien, c'est juste différent :)
