it's a freakin play, they can only do so much. It's kinda like that episode of Avatar: The Last Airbender, when they were in the Fire Nation and they watched a play about themselves. Besides when someone makes a play or movie based on a show or book, they are not going to do it word for word because that is boring. I like the way they spiced it up with humor and stage action. lol I like this, even if it different then what I expected. :)
I may not be as good as the real inuyasha but it sure as hell is making me laugh! XD me and my boyfriend watched all the episodes and movies together and we're just commenting and laughing about this as we see it, its so strange hahhah
Honestly if you are an InuYasha fan and know the story well you dont really need subtitles to know what is going on. So what if the costumes are not right. A fan would still know who is who and what is what. I love it

Naomi_Casanova I think they could make a good live action inuyasha. Look how great Rurouni Kenshin was. With Disney making live action movies, I’m certain Japan will catch on and go the same route. An Inuyasha movie would make them some big bucks maybe-then again apparently Inuyasha isn’t as popular in Japan as it is in the states, so maybe not. Still, Kenshin was amazing-but I don’t know if RK live action was a thing when you posted this 6 year old comment so nevermind.
@ziggychick8 Naraku's character was changed for the stage, since it was shown in 2000 for the first time (BTW, DVD use the footage from 2001 show), not much of his character was revealed back then. So, with permission from Takahashi Rumiko, the writer totally rebuilded the character so the conflict with Naraku can be solved in less than three hours and to avoid spoiling manga's future plotline. And yes, there is a huge meaning in Naraku being played by an actress.
