Do we not love people enough to present the Gospel to them? Does past evil prevent the truth?
Do you love Jews to leave them alone. It spiritual genocide.
It is not "I used to be empty and now I'm fulfilled." It is more the logical fulfillment of the Torah and Tanakh through the Messiah. The fulfillment and purpose of Judaism was always meant to be through the Messiah, and if the identity of the Messiah is Jesus, then only one who believes in the Messiah, whoever that may be, is a fulfilled Jew. Also, this priest has no biblical background for his position. AJ is great - never sacrifice the core of your belief on the altar of inter-faith sensitivity. ABSOLUTELY correct. Preach the Word Giles, that's the call. Not to worry about people who abused truth, but to define truth for those who need to know.

Truth? What does anyone know about truth?
@@mr.c2485 do you know anything about truth?

No..

None of which can be known. Even if they are possible to achieve, how would one know that they qualify?
Should Christians evangelise Jews? Yes. Why is that even a question?
Because the Jews don’t want it.
where did my comment go?
@@mr.c2485 Well they don't have to listen (though many do) and besides, the first Christians and evangelists were all Jews; they weren't Romans, Greeks or Celts, so I don't see what the objection is.

It’s all the the interpretation. Historicity won’t solve the problem. Too easy to debunk.

The gospel is TO THE JEW FIRST, then to the Greek.

“I am telling the truth in Christ, I am not lying, my conscience testifies with me in the Holy Spirit, that I have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart. For I could wish that I myself were accursed, separated from Christ for the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen according to the flesh, who are Israelites, to whom belongs the adoption as sons, and the glory and the covenants and the giving of the Law and the temple service and the promises, whose are the fathers, and from whom is the Christ according to the flesh, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen.”
Romans 9:1-5
Christianity is Jew! Cristianity belongs to the Jews. Christianity have been with us the gentiles for so long that we think that Christianity belong to us. We are Christians because the Jews. Have we forgotten that?
A Jew who believes that Jesus is the Messiah doesn't become a Christian. They are still Jewish, but one who believes Jesus is the Messiah.
Imagine needing an adherent of Judaism to tell you as a Christian that there’s nothing wrong with bearing witness.
A very disappointing, illogical, unbiblical view point expressed by Giles in my estimation.
I think my real problem here is Giles answer is arguably one of the most anti-semitic views out there. He might as well have said, "The Jews aren't allowed to hear the Gospel." for all the difference it make to what he said.
The Jews need to here the Gospel as much as the Gentiles do. Without Jesus no one is saved. The Gospel is "First to the Jews, then to the Gentiles." Paul's hope was that with the Gospel being given to the Gentiles the Jews might become Jealous and believe because if Gentiles believing means glory, then the Jews believing means life from the dead. Instead some Jews often got jealous in the other way wanting to keep God for themselves as though he was not God of the world. By contrast, many were jealous and believed, and therfore were saved. Note that when Paul writes to the Romans he talks to both Jewish believers and Gentile believers.
Worse than just the above, Giles answer is he essentially says "because the church has gotten it wrong in the past, Jews aren't allowed to hear the Gospel". What nonsense is this? Should we not have children or vulnerable people in church hearing the Gospel because parts of the church handled some of the safeguarding wrong in the past? Should women not be allowed in because parts of the church got roles of women wrong in the past? If I continue down this line the Gospel is dead and the church building empty because no one should be allowed to hear the Gospel under Giles' stated view.
It reminds me of the phrase "If God wishes to convert the heathen, he shall do so without you or me." Thank God no one listened to the idiot who said it. If we got it wrong in the past it is all the more reason to get it right now, not drop it completely.
I hope Giles view was just stated in a poor way, but it comes off quite anti-semitic as stated.
The Gospel is for everyone, Jew and Gentile. Thank God that is the case.
Both the old and new testaments speak of the abrogation of the old covenant with the new. For example, Jeremiah 31:31-34
Is the Jewish woman more pro-Christian evangelist than the Christian man?
Wait ... the Jewish people confessed their own sin and wrote about it. It's all in the Word of God. My own personal experience means nothing compared to God's Word. He gave the Jews a commission to go out into all the world and tell people about him and they failed to do so. He then gave the commission to all tongues and Nations and tribes. Even the Gentiles. I also am a Jew. A spiritual Jew. I was grafted in. It's not because I was empty and now I'm filled although that's true. It's because I read the word of God and realized my sin and how it could be put from me as far as the East is from the West... by my Meshiaak, my Messiah, Jesus Christ...who is a Jew. He lives. He died and rose again.
Well said.

If you go to Israel & evangelize you could end up with a 5 year prison sentence.
Five years is nothing for a true believer. They count it all joy…
are you kidding? 5 years? how does that work?
It's not true. Why spreading lies?
The Old covenant was annulled when Jesus was crucified. No one can be saved by following the law, and no one will be saved apart from faith in Jesus. If you really love your brothers and sisters, the Jews, you would put your life on the line so that they might be saved.
Why do you believe that the Bible is the word of god?
@@lifegracefaith
Agreed. Problem: how do we know that these are not simply the product of a mind and body neither of which are to be trusted? Don’t forget the imagination, it too is a reality based on absolutely nothing of demonstrable truth.
Jews are bad as christians are bad. but Jews have demonstrated they REQUIRE a MESSIAH. their messiah has yet to 'grace' us with his or her presence. until that time, jews are in no position to condemn christians for evangelising. for they are evangelising for the same reasons the jews WOULD Be doing to GENTILES anyway. ironic.
Yes. They deny Christ who is the God of their ancient covenant.
They don’t believe that a real god should have a penis.
they really deny Christ?
