Hi Joseph, glad to hear you're excited about a career with Savanna! Response time all depends on the demand for rig hands in the area. Here are some extra facts and tips on our website: www.savannaenergy.com/default.asp?id=193
It takes forever, I have h2s, first aid and a vehicle. I applied in 2013 and 2014, AND even worked on a service rig just for my resume, and still haven't heard from them... Not as easy to get on as you think. Good luck.
tocosamurii have you and Rob Williams go there in person at their head office and see a recruiter? sometimes that's the best way but I agree all depends on needs
good video!! i wish to have the opportunity for work in Savanna Energy! it´s amazing! everything is possible if you want . , I´m from mexico , i had been working in offshore But like Store man! and I like to change my careers , what i need to do ? thanks for your time!
I don't think I'd have a problem climbing those ladders if they had cages. But it looks to me like they're entirely open. Isn't there a law that states if a fixed ladder is higher than twenty feet, it requires a cage? I guess if you're tied off it would negate the need. I'd still feel safer with a cage, personally.
Anyone who climbs the derrick is equipped with a harness and connected to the fall arrest system which prevents them from falling if they slip. Everyone who goes up the derrick must also be trained in fall protection.
Can't wait to put my application in sounds like the perfect job for me. I wonder how fast the response rate is after summiting the application.

Rob Williams Agreed. Ive applied many times now, completely qualified, never the slightest response from them. I wouldn't get your hopes up.
