I cannot imagine living in the heat you get, I melt @ 80*, especially when the humidity is high. Honestly with any humidity. It is wonderful that Tonya and your Mom enjoy helping, that is excellent team work.

Parasites have been killing us in Texas this year. I lost 4 newborns, two momma goats, and one high dollar kiko buckling (5 months). Lost all in 2 weeks. I finally got it back in hand.

My, I did most of my ranch work until I had a heat stroke and had 2 brain bleeds.
Since I had the heat stroke, I can’t stay in the heat and I have slowed down a lot. I can’t stand the heat or the cold. My ancestors were pioneers to SW Florida and the only states I have ever lived in were Florida and Arizona, so I don’t like being cold!
I did move to North Florida because I hate being in the swamp and it does get cold in North Florida, but it gets as hot in the Summer as South Florida.
Post pounding is easier standing on a truck bed. 2nd person to hold post in place.

If you think your age is a problem, wait 20 years.😊 I work 15 minutes. Then take a 30 min nap. Takes a lot longer to get it done, but I get it done. Have learned that, thats what matters. A lot of younger ones won't even attempt some of the things i actually get done, eventually. Thank God I can still do it at all. Age is not all bad. It is the developer of character.😊

I know you work a lot of hours. I use too but when I got out of the goat business the first time I said I would never have a goat that I had to run after. That is very frustrating and sometimes makes you say things you shouldn't.
Powerflex super 9 polybraid; o'brien step-in posts; 3:1 reels; speedrite s1000 solar charger. At least 5 strands at 7000 volts. Move paddocks AT LEAST evey 7 days, better at least ever 3rd day. Have ground rest long enough to break paracite cycle.

@FowlerFamilyFarm ya for sure roofer came to put a very needed new roof on today after a while I went out to see how all was how going 2 of the younger Spanish men were hanging on too thr chimney, t thought maybe a break or windy up there then that spole English said yoyr chimney is falling off call a company, what ,I rent,oh he said I said call Mike he said I call my company so all heck broke looseI I had more men at my rental going threw the house and there was no way to the adic lol, I grabbed my belt purse my cane bad knee bike wipe out snd walk to the pier for about 3 hours had a great time or rivet channel were bigger boat go threw to get to open water landlord called no gas for a day and the crew took alot of nice furniture I was going to donate to a Christian place and the roof looks so nice and no more water coming threw
