They do. Constitution Act of 1982. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms Section 2, Fundamental Freedoms, subsection B: "freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;" Now, whether or not the government adheres to its own constitution is the question. The answer: not even close.
Oh, I should also mention that this same document has all the same regulations as our own American Constitution against illegal detainment, searches, and seizures. In fact, the entire document seems to be ripped straight from the US playbook. Compare the two countries, though, and it'll be even more clear how little they regard their own constitution.
Don't bring up amendments to Canadian police, they'll ignore you. Need to mention your charter rights instead. Freedom of Speech, religion, the press, assembly and association is section 2 of the Charter. Right against illegal search or seizure is section 8 of the Charter. Protection against illegal arrest or detention, section 9. Auditing in Canada, you need to know at least those.

Tell her "Anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law...."
U.S. law does not apply in Canada .
Why would this cop care about USC42?
@@beerancher3225 She didn't say "eh" a lot so I amused US. 😁
@@anthonythorp7291 Perhaps you meant ASSUMED ? Some Canadians are able to articulate a sentence or two without , eh , eh ?
That Sara Sliverman cop was annoying as hell.
how is this a 1st amendment audit? canada doesnt have a 1st amendment lol
They aren't in Minnesota?
Imagine thinking Canada doesn't have a charter of rights and freedoms. Then going on the internet to let everyone know how daft you are.
They do. Constitution Act of 1982. The Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms Section 2, Fundamental Freedoms, subsection B:
"freedom of thought, belief, opinion and expression, including freedom of the press and other media of communication;"
Now, whether or not the government adheres to its own constitution is the question.
Tyranny.

NEVER give these Psycopaths the last word
Why does the stations Fleshlight think she is a real cop?
You were hired for your mouth, yes.
Not so you could use it, but so the other officers can use it.
"station fleshlight" lmao
Totally owned! Love it.
That lady is the poster child of incompetence. Who is screening these people for hire!? Then...who is training these people!? How are they being evaluated after hire!? This is embarrassing.
I understand! Expecting a cop or toy cop to know the law is asking too much
That was absolutely maddening to watch. ID the cops always. He let them talk way too much. Especially that stupid woman cop.
She's another bully with a badge.
I can't even believe she is so twisted
And furthermore, if they ask for your permission to search your car, house, luggage, whatever . . . it's a fishing expedition and means they do not have probable cause.

Law enforcement in this country is totally out of control!!!
WHAT LAW HAS HE BROKEN
Do Not Talk to Cops!!! Why do people answer ANY questions from cops? You can just remain completely silent. If they put their hands on you, search you or arrest you, you then have everything you need for a lawsuit for them violating your rights.
On the job training is not good for law enforcement officers...its dangerous
She spunds like Charlie Browns teacher..WAHH WAHH WAHH!! LOL
That is some of the cop speak I've ever heard😅😅😅
Orange Man ! ! ! ✌🇨🇦 Thanks for sharing this video.
Yay!!
Wow, I’m amazed at how many officers don’t know basic law
I'm a law abiding citizen, with no violations, and I absolutely *HATE* this ...They have to do better.
So-- this ignorant cops says, "I don't understand why you are filming," And the auditor responds correctly, "You don't have to understand." EXCELLENT ANSWER AND VERY CORRECT AND LEGAL!.
Why are our cops so uneducated because I see some been there for twenty something years and still don’t know the law. Maybe they refuse to learn or maybe just stupid.
Is there ever an incident where a cop doesn't lie? They're taught that in cop school, and it's probably the only lesson they remember. She'll stand there and lie until quit time, 5:54 and if her sergeant approves overtime, she'll stay there and lie some more.
