  • MJR Collector Reviews the Masters of the Universe Filmation He-Man Ultimate Edition Action Figure by Super7.
    MRJ Collector finally sits down to do a proper action figure review of the Ultimates Edition of He-man from Super7. The figure features a number of additional accessories which were not included in the original Mattel release including a brand new Battle Axe, a new Shield, and three additional heads. The He-Man Ultimate Edition Action Figure by Super7 includes a Laughing Head, a Robot Head and a very sought after Faker Head which features glow in the dark eyes.
    This edition of the figure was highly sought after due to the new additions of the ankle joints which were a major concern in the original Mattel release.
    MJR Collector purchased this version of the Masters of the Universe He-Man Action Figure online through BBTS.com

    JayBan, My part 2 of I had to pause the video. Not only did Super 7 incorporate some of the movie characters, they added one from She'-Ra that, I don't think ever got a toy, and was maybe only seen in one ep? That is Dylamug! I think that is way cool! That was one character that should have been in more eps and had a toy made in the 80s. Another character in the back, Wrap Trap, I don't recall him in either cartoon series. Not even as a cameo. I think part of the indepth Masters of the Universe story that goes into more detail of Ancients of Eternia, how the Castle Greyskull came to be, Scareglow, and the how Skeletor came to be.

    Jay Ban, I had to pause your video when you showed the back of the action card. WOW, so Super 7, no only, staying in line with the original cartoon, they even added a character from the movie, in Karg!!! I always wanted a Saurod figure, and while they made one, I don't recall seeing one in the stores. In fact, I don't recall any new figures in the movie, that were released in the 80s, as a toy nor later on in the cartoon.. That is one thing that bothered me about the 1987 movie, is they intoduced new villains, but didn't need to.Besides Evil Lyn , Beastman and Skeletor, that was pretty much it. Lastly, I wanted one of those robots or soldiers that were part of Skeletor's army in the movies. I don't think one was ever made.

      Oh don't worry Grandizer12 my review of the "Masters of the Universe Stout collection" which is the movie He-Man which looks similar to Dolph Lundgren, Evil Despot Skeletor who has a resemblance to Frank Langella in makeup, and God Skeletor, it's coming soon! all these figures were available from Super7 last year and I had to pick them up!
      They are crown jewels and my collection and I can't wait to show them off!

    Awesome I got this and skeletor a few months ago from bigbad toystore. I use origins battlecat with him it fits perfect with this figure. Soon as I get panthor origins, skeletor will be happy

      I will have to use Origins Battle Cat for sure as a Classics battle cat is WAAAYYY too expensive on the secondary market 😭

      No way that's insane extreme Sega A! Never feed the scalpers! I heard bots ran away with over 5,000 PS5s if it were up to me, I would let the scalpers sit on those for the rest of the year. Teach them a lesson! Don't feed the scalpers people!!!

      Thanks Pokehon, glad it turned out the way it did. Sometimes manipulating action figures in front of a camera can be tricky lol. I was Sure it went out of focus a couple times 😅

    You almost need two.. One for faker.

      Lol yeah, though I do wish they came out with a blue faker just for old times sake (he was never in the Filmation cartoon though).

      @@MJRCollector yeah. When they did that robot heman. I always hoped he would come back and repaired blue. And be some sort of hybred of skeltor and heman. That's how I always thought the blue faker back story was.

    I wonder is Saurod and Tung Lashor supposed to be the same character? They both have similar abilities? Would be kind of silly to have a character with similar abiliites just different names. Kobra Khan also comes to mind of a character that has similar abilities.

      @MJRCollector  3 года назад +1

      Well that's a good observation Grandizer12 I never made the connection but yeah. The only difference I think is that Saurod never had a tongue lol 😁

    • @drewstar412
      @drewstar412 3 года назад

      @@MJRCollector True...I think both are considered to have great tracking abilities. Or they all have the ability to spit some type of venom out. Teela or the Sorceress better not get caught by Tung Lashor because he is going to give them a good Tongue lashing. lol

    Cool review!!! I was wondering if they included the battle ax. I like how they put the shealth for the power sword. This figure is not bolegged ilke the Mattel version, but good that the legs can move to fit on Battle cat and any vehicles. I LUV how the shield is larger, and that is one thing that bothered me about the mattel version. Oh, and yes, the chest plate/armor was removable with the Mattel version. I think all the First generation Mattel toys, you could remove the chest armor. Maybe Ram Man and Zodiac, were the exception?

      Thanks Grandizer12, I really do like his upgrade and the cool accessories are a major bonus! I missed him the first time around with Mattel so I'm super happy to have him now from the Super7 ultimates!
