This reminds me of Steve Vai´s - Tender Surrender, especially in the begining.. Amazing Job !!!!! Greetings from Colombia !!!!!! Petrucci and Portnoy, not counting the fact that they know eachother sice 18 yrs old, But they merge so well in music, even if they changed a little bit their playing style through the years.... This are true Musicians!, people!
Petrucci + Portnoy = Dream Theater. And this album Sounds and feels so Good. Thank you John for the great music, and thank you Mike for your Groove and drumstyle on this album.
His guitar tone is so perfect. No harsh overtones no brittleness at all. The drums and bass have great tone too. Listen to this song all the time! Good job. Thanks for the great music!
My favourite solo album this year 2020. This whole album gives me hope with all the uncertainty we all faced. Thank you for your amazing music. May God bless you and hope you continue with your beautiful career in making good music.
This song is a true masterpiece. Each of the musicians brings their best to this song without dominating the others. Exceptional composition and interplay between the parts.
Gracias John. Gabriel
Thanks for showing everyone your versatility . He is so much more than what Dream Theater needs him to be ( which is a lot as well , yet he shows he has more ).
Feels like John, while being the usual deadly shredding machine, has started to let his guitar sing the most heartfelt melodies and this is magnificent, and i somehow think that the best is still yet to come from this unbelievable guy... Thank you John ❤
Thanks for the music Mr. Petrucci! People, whether you like the new album or not, you can't deny that his music and approach on guitar playing & live performance remains a heavy influence for many players out there. \m/
Just finished listening and just realized I was making out with my majesty the whole time! BRAVO John and Mike !!!!!!! One of my favourites for sure!!!!!
The kind of track you'd play while flying in your spaceship at light speed while infinite stars and planets pass you by, while you chill in the pilot's seat smoking the best interstellar weed Or that's how it feels like to me.
Well, this song was a surprise for me. I wish people start listening to music and appreciate it instead of comparing to other musics or artists. This music is perfect for resting during the evening. :-)
OMG :D :D Best thing ever, i just came home from work, got a little stoned and then listened to this song on my stereo headphones and read this wonderful and absolutely funny comment :D :D Give that man a cookie! ...And then someone may bring me back my clothes please, thanks! :)
Reminds me of Zeppelins Since I’ve Been Loving You. I remember you’ve said Zeppelin was one of your first bands so honestly good job taking your original influences and mixing it beautifully with your own unique style. John Petrucci is my favorite guitarist \m/
Now is official: 90's Petrucci is back! 🙌🙌

This may be one of the greatest solos Petrucci has even written.

thought the same the second I heard it!
I knew I was getting a Vai vibe from it, but couldn't quite put my finger on what song. Nailed it.
yeepppp
Similar to Tender Surrender by Jimi Hendrix than Steve Vai.
!!!!!!!!!
What a time to be Petrucci fan, a DT fan, a Portnoy fan, a Larue fan, a guitar fan, a music fan.
😭
..and a COVID fan...
... a Mangini fan... ( _Madmen & Sinners_ with James LaBrie)
Never regret to born in this Era. Petrucci’s related musicians are international treasure
On repeat. Petrucci shows the world he's not the fastest best but the slowest best as well. Such tasteful playing.
Petrucci + Portnoy = Dream Theater. And this album Sounds and feels so Good. Thank you John for the great music, and thank you Mike for your Groove and drumstyle on this album.
It’s amazing how you can tell who’s playing just by a snare hit.
Yeah and crashing very 3 beats....
1992 fills says hello
I know right, I LOVE Marco Minnemann's playing on here.....

I like this. I've just been looking for Petrucci's slow, smooth song.
Maybe you can consider 'Wishful Thinking' as well ☺️
listen "eve" from petrucci
Lost without you is a good song too
State of grace
His guitar tone is so perfect. No harsh overtones no brittleness at all. The drums and bass have great tone too. Listen to this song all the time! Good job. Thanks for the great music!
his guitar tone in this album is remarkable
Melodic jazz blues 😍 the real art came from petrucci's hands 🥳
My cover of this song ! ❤️🔥🤘🏻 ruclips.net/video/l3Ei_z9XfRM/видео.html
Tastefully done, but so accurate and technical, with the melody to move the heart. Such an inspiration Petrucci is to me!
Distance Over Time = (Terminal) Velocity
Love the unexpected blues🤘Petrucci is the master
unexpected blues means jazzy blues to me :D
Feels like "still got the blue" - Gary Moore or "tender surrender" - Steve Vai
U right 🖤
Feels like Petrucci :d
My cover of this song ! ❤️🔥🤘🏻 ruclips.net/video/l3Ei_z9XfRM/видео.html
More like the portmanteau of the two... like "Still got the surrender" or "Tender got the blues".
Yes the beginning feels like "still got the blues for you" from Gary Moore.
I'm so Glad Petrucci is back to solo album recording, I'll pick up the record for sure, every time!
My favourite solo album this year 2020. This whole album gives me hope with all the uncertainty we all faced. Thank you for your amazing music. May God bless you and hope you continue with your beautiful career in making good music.

Yep...the Petrucci fire is still burning brightly. 🙏
Always inspirational, sir!
Lost without you Pt. 2: Out of the blue
Agree
Def has that same vibe. One his best.
Zero Tolerance as a bluesy version.
This is my favourite Petrucci song, I keep coming back to it, it's definitely made me appreciate the blues again!

I think this is the best piece in the whole album. Gemini is second.
