Funnily (and sadly) enough the Netherlands is the only country in Europe where PEVs (other than e-bikes) are completely banned! You can't ride a electric scooter, EUC, onewheel or e-sk8 legally here. If caught, the device is seized and you get a 400€ fine. So I'm surprised such an event is held in Amsterdam, when the country itself is so hostile to PEVs.
Britain also bans scooters & anything that isn't a hard limited 15Mph E-bike. The World is full of great solutions, which most governments have immediately made illegal.
@@plunder1956 Not in America! We're not buying these electric hunks of shit and now the Fed Govt is subsidizing tax funds for companies to make cars they cant sell lol
Thanks for the great summary Micah! You really captured the vibe and some of my highlights too. We'll have to connect at the next one and get you to try our new LAVOIE Series 1 eScooter ;)
I would love to get a stealth ebike for quick trips, and not having to worry about it getting stolen. Those scooters fit the bill, but they seem way more dangerous than bikes. Especially on bumpy roads, and downhills. The wheels are just way too small.
Clip, a Brooklyn based company took the best in show! Met the tram and designer at a local Bike Jumble festival. They had prototypes there and it was selling itself after every test ride. All the other companies are players in the mobility market, glad to know my potential future purchase is soon to be available. Good overall review, short and feature packed. Keep it up. I don’t miss an episode.
It was a pity not to be able to attend the event and show our new concept of micro-mobility "SMUBER". We will be glad to be able to attend the next event and meet you. For when an exclusive event of these characteristics in Spain?
How the hell did ya manage to get GOOD weather? I spent three weeks in Europe one time and had perfect weather throughout Europe until I hit Amsterdam! Than it rained and felt miserable! Oh yeah the E gear was nice!
Quick glimpse of the Polish guy and his EUC (who also attended this e-fest) but you didn't mention that EUCs are completely banned in The Netherlands, despite it being the perfect place for all types of micromobility. Booooo . . .
That treadmill scooter was like a rare pokemon
So sad that there are no EUCs allowed in Netherlands 😭
Looked fun and educational

This is why I invested in $MCOM MicroMobility! Great product lineup, awesome rollouts, and international presence.
Excellent as always.
That looks like such an awesome event! Looking forward to the American one! 😃

That front mounted pusher/friction motor is pretty cool.
Thank You
Very interesting, unfortunately 95% or more of these not allowed in LUDDITE U.K.
Or in the Netherlands
Great share!!
Thanks
06:53 what bike is that?
Hope you go more in depth at the upcoming MM event. Great stuff, buddy! 👍
I like the music😊
Definitely keeping an eye on Clip, I really want some of those quick bolt-on kits to get more mature as that is the option I'm most interested in.

The think I like the best about bikes/Ebikes/EVs is the lack of noise so that music/noisemaker bike would not work for me.
Erkle had a gas erosion of it.
This was expensive to attend I think so probably didn't want the mass public there.

I always thought electric scooter riders should do more work..😂👍
SUAT lol

What a cringefest - not you, these contraptions are hilarious.
Everything useful and fun is illegal in Europe
I did not see any thing for people with disabilities.
