Did you try also with one Ipad or any other smartphone to see if is the App problem ... or maybe your cable problem the link in between the RC & the Drone ! Can you play on the Flight Simulator on the APP (Academy) ??? Rgds, CV.
As of right now there is no iPad app, maybe you can send me a copy of the old version if you have it. And I tried with 4 different android devices, and I've tried 4 different usb cables, no success...

I scanned the code and the application and was downloaded automatically, I have a IPAD 2 and I made the same thing on my Iphone 5, the same day and there was not of update since the installation on my two devices… And I installed twice Firmaware because there were two versions at two days of intervals on the website of DJI: Inspire_1_Firmwarev 1.2.0.14 _en Inspire_1_Firmwarev 1.2.0.16 _en Only the last is visible on the website of DJI, I do not have the file for Ipad and I cant send to you on the other hand by e-mail I have well both Firmware in my computer those I can sent you by e-mail, your Samsung telephone is part of the list of the devices which functions with the Drone, when I look at your video your Application is identical of my Iphone & Ipad thus I do not see why that does not function… last week my dealer in France sent e-mail while asking not to make still a flight with the drone, because they will return me block spare for the Propellers of the Drone because it seems that there is a defect on the blocking of the Propellers, therefore dont be pressed to make fly your Drone for the moment, You have still time, I do not know if you received the same message from your dealer, I wait I just could make a test flight of a few minutes & at 3 meters height, I wait to receive the block system of the propellers before making of true test.

Hi friend, you need to unbrick the remote. I had the same problem and i downloaded the firmware "gs_ofdm.bin" and put it in the root pendrive, insert in usb on remote and turn on. thats will unbrick you remote control. Sorry for my english, I'm brazilian.
+Carlos Jardim Tô com o mesmo problema, já tentei de tudo e tô achando que a porta USB do rádio está ruim. Não dá imagem e não consigo mudar para Master ou Slave, fica só em Off. O seu problema também foi assim? Equipamento todo novo e esse deveria ser o rádio Slave pois o outro é o master e está normal. Agradeço desde já qualquer ajuda. Abraço.
Allan, você precisa resetar seu radio, para isso precisará do arquivo. gs_ofdm.bin. Esse arquivo deixa o radio como veio de fábrica aí voce poderá fazer a atualização através de um tablet plugado no controle e com o drone ligado. Me passe seu e-mail que te mando o arquivo, eu estava com o mesmo problema e consegui resolver. Abraços

mine says "disconnected" now and the remote always defaults to OFF
Did you try press the red button inside Inspire 1?
