Trying to lo Link Inspire1 to the Remote control
This video shows how I try to select the Master as image, as suggested by DJI tech support with no success. I'm still having the same issue. I wish I can get someone from DJI who knows how to resolve this on the phone.

DJI Inspire1 Problems

After an attempt update the firmware, the aircraft stopped connecting to the remote control. Now I can't do anything with it, except watch the led lights blink.
hi you dont have a binding to the inspire sea the red licht in the kraft.....push te small butem with a pen 3sec down after it the led is green end fixt

mine says "disconnected" now and the remote always defaults to OFF
did u fix it?
you hit the button on the remote app then hit the button on the inspire that should work just wait till it pairs

Syamsul Hazimee Husni There is a red button if you look on the right side of the drone in the nose there is a red button it is very small you will need a pen or a paper clip to reach go to the pair mode on the DJI go app press that then press and hold the red button on the drone. Look on internet pictures of the pair button on the drone
Had the same exact problem, down to the exact details. I fixed mine, here's how. When the Remote Control is on, and your phone is connected, you should be able to click on the "No Signal, or Disconnected" red bar at the top of the screen. This will open up and should say you have an upgrade available. When I attempted to install this upgrade on my Samsung tablet and my Android HTC phone, it would simply not work, it would tell me something along the lines of "No internet connection" (despite being on Wifi). When I did it with a friend's Iphone 5s, however, it was able to install the upgrades. Once these upgrades were installed, it immediately reconnected to my Inspire 1. The problem was that the RC did not have the same firmware as the copter.
Hi friend, you need to unbrick the remote. I had the same problem and i downloaded the firmware "gs_ofdm.bin" and put it in the root pendrive, insert in usb on remote and turn on. thats will unbrick you remote control. Sorry for my english, I'm brazilian.
+Carlos Jardim Tô com o mesmo problema, já tentei de tudo e tô achando que a porta USB do rádio está ruim. Não dá imagem e não consigo mudar para Master ou Slave, fica só em Off. O seu problema também foi assim? Equipamento todo novo e esse deveria ser o rádio Slave pois o outro é o master e está normal. Agradeço desde já qualquer ajuda. Abraço.
Allan, você precisa resetar seu radio, para isso precisará do arquivo. gs_ofdm.bin. Esse arquivo deixa o radio como veio de fábrica aí voce poderá fazer a atualização através de um tablet plugado no controle e com o drone ligado. Me passe seu e-mail que te mando o arquivo, eu estava com o mesmo problema e consegui resolver. Abraços

I have the exact same problem with my bird. After updating can't link to master. However my remote is set to master and I can turn it on or off. My remote isn't stuck. I tried re linking the bird and pushing the small link button on the inspire 1 which is located on the upper right side just inside of white body.Still won't link up. The pilot app says everything is up to date and normal. Yet the bird just flashes yellow light. I've tried e everything?......

Did you try also with one Ipad or any other smartphone to see if is the App problem ... or maybe your cable problem the link in between the RC & the Drone ! Can you play on the Flight Simulator on the APP (Academy) ??? Rgds, CV.
As of right now there is no iPad app, maybe you can send me a copy of the old version if you have it. And I tried with 4 different android devices, and I've tried 4 different usb cables, no success...

I scanned the code and the application and was downloaded automatically, I have a IPAD 2 and I made the same thing on my Iphone 5, the same day and there was not of update since the installation on my two devices… And I installed twice Firmaware because there were two versions at two days of intervals on the website of DJI: Inspire_1_Firmwarev 1.2.0.14 _en Inspire_1_Firmwarev 1.2.0.16 _en Only the last is visible on the website of DJI, I do not have the file for Ipad and I cant send to you on the other hand by e-mail I have well both Firmware in my computer those I can sent you by e-mail, your Samsung telephone is part of the list of the devices which functions with the Drone, when I look at your video your Application is identical of my Iphone & Ipad thus I do not see why that does not function… last week my dealer in France sent e-mail while asking not to make still a flight with the drone, because they will return me block spare for the Propellers of the Drone because it seems that there is a defect on the blocking of the Propellers, therefore dont be pressed to make fly your Drone for the moment, You have still time, I do not know if you received the same message from your dealer, I wait I just could make a test flight of a few minutes & at 3 meters height, I wait to receive the block system of the propellers before making of true test.

Hi, I do not find any more the application for the iPAD, DJI is certainly making modifications, it will be again available but without saying when ! I'm still waiting & expect the blockers for the Propellers, therefore I not flying with the drone for the moment, Rgds, CV.
Hi, At 1,50 to 1,53 minutes of your video see and stop, I think your RC Settings ( you are on OFF ) press Master normaly after you will have signal ON Did you try outside also not inside your House ??? try Rgds, CV.
I tried to select master,but it remains in off mode. And I tried outside, in the park and at work, with no success. I only tape in the house cause it is freezing outside

Install the Pilot app on your device 4. Turn on everything according to dji inspire 1 usermanual 5. download and install the newest firmware from DJI on the inspire 1 and on the remote/s. (How to do it´s explained in the usermanual or in pdf includet at the download)
