I was going to comment something similar. Lagavulin 16 is my favourite bottle to date, and I always look to buy myself a new bottle, but funds are never where they need to be 😂
I loove this series! I cook for a living and these videos enrich my soul after work haha. I was curious if you’ve ever worked in a professional kitchen or just a home cook. You clearly know your way around and i love the way you tackle these recipes.
wow, i remember the first one, glad to see it come to fruition, would still love the top down chopping angles as those are super relaxing to me visually, thanks as always monotonic!
This is awesome man! Feel like these videos just keep progressing - maybe dry aged next? If you ever do get your hands on A5 again I'd recommend trying it yakiniku style - sliced thin and give it a quick sear over an open flame (ideally charcoal). Eating it with some ponzu sauce and wasabi is just phenomenal.
Nick Offerman played Ron Swanson in Parks and Recreation, and Offerman implemented his love of Lagavulin to the character. They made a whiskey in honor of Ron Swanson. Good stuff.
I'm not very drunk but I'm very sick for some reason so LET ME TELL YOU this raw steak made me SICK. good video tho. I like your style when I'm sober 😊
You have such an ideal voice for ASMR. It’s just perfect.. and I gather you must really be a big fan of math.
I'm honestly more jealous about the Lagavulin Offerman Edition than the Wagyu. Great stuff!
I totally understand that perspective. I’d definitely take a nice regular steak and the Lagavulin over wagyu and a cheaper scotch.

these cooking videos are so lovely. i know they must be hard to make, but it's worth it. thanks!
Thanks for saying so!

Just a home cook. Thanks for the note, I appreciate it!

Thank you!
Yesssss another amazing video from the best.
Thank you!
Next time you do wagyu, don't use oil to fry the meat, just press the meat down in the pan and the fat should melt out immediately
Congratss on over 30K subs, Love ur vids, keep em coming
Thank you!

The most relaxing cold steak and bowl of oil I've ever seen
10:14 Nice!
Indeed!
Thanks for all this, I knew nothing about wagyu.
It’s very very rich but it’s an experience!
I can smell it from here!
Delicious!
Where's the part where you bring a bite out through the monitor for me to taste! Looks delicious!
My team is working on that tech lol
My boi showed up with the A5?!?!?
I know a guy who knows a guy who knows a guy and voila !
Legend
Thanks!
👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome vid…one tip is no need to add oil to the pan for the wagyu due to the high fat content
Its important to supply a nice equal crust
🤤🤤🤤
Damn that steak was probably like $150. Big living. Congrats on exceeding your goals
It is crazy how expensive it is. Thank you!
Why did u change the pan after you cooked the steak?
I find if I do fried rice after it sticks badly. I'm sure that can be solved but it makes the video go better to swap.
@MonotonicASMR makes sense. Love ur videos btw
Hungry now
I feel you on that!
tasty dudecrot- I mean sirloin steaks!
いただきます!
Very nice vid and scotch!
Thanks!
“Don’t know who this Nick Offerman jamoke is.” Ha!
There's no way to know, really
It’s the actor that was on the show “Parks and Recreation,” unless you’re obviously messing with me 😉
I'm not very drunk but I'm very sick for some reason so LET ME TELL YOU this raw steak made me SICK. good video tho. I like your style when I'm sober 😊
"At 46% it's strong." As a bourbon drinker that got a laugh from me.
Flipped it to many times this was heartbreaking to watch
First
Not knowing who Nick Offerman is hurt my soul a bit
That was a very dry joke and I regret not finishing it in a way that revealed that.
Second
Too much oil.
Try to use extra vergin olive oil
