      @PlantBasedBride they are one of the most common in The Netherlands. They're called "mus", which also is a Dutch bujo brand :)
      We call people who like to sit indoors a "huis mus".
      Example: "Ik ben echt een huis mus";
      "I really am a house sparrow"

    I've just turned 30 and also hit my birdwatching portion of adulthood lol If you like boardgames at all I would HIGHLY recommend playing 'Wingspan', that's what started my bird obsession! It's so cute and cozy and you get to learn things about birds! I was able to identify a bird in the wild strictly because I recognized it from the game, such an awesome moment :)

    The house sparrow is actually the most widely distributed bird in the world. It is originally from Eurasia, but has been introduced by humans in many other areas (such as the Americas). And your first reference image is a different species, the eurasian tree sparrow (which is in the same genus as the house sparrow, but not found in America).

    A quick add to the bird facts.. House Sparrows don't live year round in those parts of South America because there aren't many humans/city habitat there year round; i.e. the Amazon rainforest and the heights of the Andes mountains!

      @@PlantBasedBridehere one of the species has a little different with the colours like the head areas are more brownish red. You can say a mixture of indiana red and burnt umber. 😂 and markings looks similar to me. shape wise this kind of species are less fluffy as I believe Bangladesh is tropical country and the map you have showed is colder. And the other species has less colours, mostly greyish brown and white. And they are lot thinner than the previous one.

    The drawing turned out beautiful 😍
    Btw, I'd like to point out something really important: it's good that birds and other animals are afraid of humans. If they start thinking that one person is good, they will assume that others are good too, including bad people, and will be more easily caught or hurt. Please respect wild animals safety at the right distance. Remember that Disney nature is not real nature 🙏🏻

    • @PlantBasedBride
      @PlantBasedBride  29 дней назад +1

      I have every intention of following guidelines on feeding birds, including never attempting to hand feed endangered species or at risk individuals. I also have no plans to hand feed regularly/attempt to train our local birds to eat out of my hand. It’s simply something I’d like to experience once in my life, if possible. I get a lot of joy from just watching the birds eat the bird feed from the feeder in our backyard.
