One time on Oprah, when she used to do the tabloid stuff, she did a show about men dating older women and a guy in the audience said Cher is great, but he had no interest in dating her because she was too much older and somehow, she called into the show to respond saying she wouldn't want to date him either. LOL.
I remember that too, but she didn't actually say that. And the guy on the panel did want to date her and Cher gave him her number but they did not go out according to the guy in the pink pants. The flannel shirt guy in the audience said he had "higher standards" for older women. He couldn't handle any woman is my guess.

Danny devito and his wife have been together forever. they were also the mom and dad in the movie Matilda. they played in a lot of movies together actually
They got divorced over 4 years ago. It's even in the video. (1982-2016)
I knew they broke up but I didn't know that the divorce was final. He cheated on her several times and she was tired of it. His career has continued but I haven't seen her in anything lately. I like her so I hope if she's not working it's her choice.
She also played his girlfriend in Taxi.
And her name isn't pronounced like "Ray" it's RHEA (Ree-ah), lol. Char got that one wrong. It's funny because Char also says small people are like fire-crackers or something along those lines and when I think of Rhea's character on Cheers, Carla, she totally fit that description.
I thought they were rly cute because they looks like cartoon parent characters. Rly disappointed that Danni cheated...

Depending on how they say it, I'd accept it from an elderly man. I can tell when someone is being sexist or just being sweet.

I especially like to use it when i want to put across sincerity, especially when someone is upset, etc.

It depends on the context Sweetie is used in. In the South, it's a term of endearment, and not meant to be condesending. If we say "Bless yor heart" on the other hand, it's not a compliment....js
Agreed 100%. I live in Florida so there's a combo of Southern & non-Southern. The term Sweetie I react to depending on who said it.

Pink is my girl. Ive met many celebs and talk/treat them like the people they are. But If I ever get to meet her I may actually cry lol! I've loved her and her music since day one and for 22 years she has gotten me through some of the toughest times. When I almost died from sepsis, not once, not twice, but three times. Her music and positivity gave me the strength to get through it. She cares about everyone, no matter your colour, gender or sexual orientation she accepts you for you. Shes crazy talented. She can act, she can sing, she can do acrobatics & silks and she knows how to put on a show. There's no one like her and I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. 💞

When I moved into another bedroom when ex-H and I were breaking up, he would yell nasty things to me. I would snap back "that's DOCTOR Cu&t to you" (have a doctorate)...that gave me the idea to blast 'Blow Me" , "You Make Me Sick", and "My Life" (Billy Joel, Long Island's most famous singer-love him) all the time, among other songs

Once I was responding a comment and I started out saying "darling" which I do when I'm trying to calm the person down so they can actually hear what I'm trying to say, but that resulted in a third person (which was not involved in the discussion) getting all worked up and going after me saying I was belittling the other person opinion and because of it my response was biased(for all I get he did not read it because he never mentioned anything besides the fact I said "darling") which lead me to just stare in confusion as I was genuinely just trying to make my point
I regularly use sweetie, darlin' & sugar and also at work with customers. Contemplating life.

It's all about tone and context. "Hi, sweetie, how're you?" is completely different from "Sweetie, don't you know that xyz..." One is kind, one is belittling. If you use it all the time, you're probably fine...unless you spend a lot of time belittling people!

The scary part about the "Pink" one is i see it to frequently that some of these young folks don't recognize a slew of famous celebrities until they're trying to say something along the lines of "noone even knew who they wore til they wore on a youtubers video" or covering a song or something similar, see it so often that it should be a video
Pink doesn’t get the credit she deserves in the US. Goes for a lot of artists I listen to, including Linkin Park. That’s why they prefer touring outside the US where they’re loved. I think the US promotes a lot of plastic, fake, superficial, easy fairytale artists conforming to the perceived Hollywood ideal, whereas most other countries prefer realness.
@@tsfbaf303 It's true, but the US isn't the only country with weird blind spots. Canada is pretty bad for not valuing or supporting homegrown talent until they hit it big somewhere else.

If y'all ever wanted to know what happened to the original Wednesday actress on "The Addams Family," she spent at least part of her time, in the nineties, as a bartender in Burbank. I used to frequent the bar. One day, I made a snide comment about Christie Brinkley because I, not knowing her or Billy Joel, decided I was upset that they were divorcing and decided to blame her. Let's just say I got a clap back from Wednesday, 'cause she actually knew Christie. I learned a valuable lesson that day and am much less judgey... at least in public. LOL.

I really love your videos but I can't always deal with them. I have misophonia and it makes certain sounds physically painful and there is not cure yet and limited treatment. @Jasmin Royal actually there’s a third group. They are aware that they are ugly as one might be aware of having a missing limb or being very tall or even being fat. It is silly to say no, your arm isn’t missing, you need to work on your self esteem! Or that they are fishing for compliments. People can’t cope hearing ‘I’m ugly’ from others, even when it’s true. The ugly group, some anyway, are perfectly happy to band together and convince ourselves that we have other valuable qualities. It’s actually not the end of the world to “have a face that only a mother could love”, it’s just taboo to say it - apparently. But I’ll concede that it makes others uncomfortable so I guess it’s kinder to keep quiet and pretend you don’t know, so others don’t know that you know, except while you were growing up and kids let you know - but when you grow up you are and attention seeker if you say it yourself...
I just think it’s a strange social phenomenon.

Yes I do have a cousin that attempted to enter in to the movie industry, he was invited to a very High Class party, I was asked to meet with a very famous actor / director and was directed to meet with the person in a very secretive room where activities were less than amoral behaviour, He left promptly. He felt if he had to give up his man hood to make it would it be worth it.
