I read an interview about that Clooney thing, with one of the recipients. George had a dinner party and had 14 of his closest old friends from his past gathered. People that helped him in his early career etc. During the dinner, he had waiters bring out 14 Louis Vuitton suitcases and place one next to each person’s chair. He then explained that he was grateful to everyone present and loved them-and wanted to give back for their support. Inside each case, was a million dollars. He also paid the taxes on each sum, so that each person pocketed a clear million. One of the guests was a fellow wealthy successful celebrity (wish I could remember who) who said ‘George, I really appreciate this…but it’s not needed’ and Clooney told him to donate it to charity or give it away, then.

I was just watching Nick DiRamio’s video about Camp Rock 2 and it freaked me out that in 2009 Joe Jonas was a grown ass man, while Sophie Turner hadn’t even started shooting Game of Thrones yet and was literally a tiny child. I know their age difference isn’t actually THAT huge but it sure seems like it when I think about it that way. 😬
So, funny story, the Shania Twain song, Man I Feel Like a Woman, was what we used for our garter switch prank at our wedding. We started out with “Legs” by ZZ Top and we went through the usual motions until my husband “couldn’t find” the garter. Then the song skipped, cut out, and the Shania Twain song started playing and when it said “man I feel like a woman” my husband lifted his pant leg to show he actually had the garter! People still talk about it 😄. But I’ll never hear that song the same again as just a girl anthem 😉

I'm jealous of everyone who ever had a Skydancer. My parents refused to buy any of the toys that I wanted: Skydancers, Barbies, Action Man, Hot Wheels, Nerf guns, Stretch Armstrong, etc. Nothing XD
My parents didn't have a lot of money to buy a lot of toys for my sisters and I, but they did get me that exact Skydancer! I wouldn't put it down! 9yo me would get the ladder myself to retrieve it from the roof because I couldn't wait for dad to come home and get it. Lol.
My parents couldn't afford much either. So when I moved out I bought myself the nerf gun I always wanted lol. Then with my own kids I'd say pick one thing you want most. So they'd at least get that toy for sure with other presents.
There is a similar toy for kids (my granddaughters have them) that is rechargeable and quite high-tech compared to the Sky Dancers. (flying fairy?), and it is quite fun to fly. It varies its "rotor speed" so it changes altitude, and it senses obstacles so if it hits something it stops immediately. And no batteries to replace as it comes with a charger that plugs into the base of it. They're at Wal-Mart and called "Hatchable Pixies Crystal Flyers".

Re: Gwyneth Paltrow - saw an interview where she explained that the candle does not in fact smell like her hooha (or anyone's) but rather she says "like my vagina" in response to things other people say, sort of in a "that's what she said" way and when her scent guru told her about the candle he said "it smells" and GP chimed in "like my vagina" and they both laughed so hard that they decided to keep the name. IDK, still seems a bit narcissistic to me but hey I'm not GP lol

I didn't even know it existed until my husband told me about it a few weeks ago because I kinda low key loath GP for being so unabashedly vapid but truth be told I guess it's kind of a common thing for candles in glass jars to do this if they're burned for more than 2 hrs. Either way, maybe not expect greatness from something named after someone's vagina. Maybe just save the *cough*choke*hack* *$75 candle and just stick with Swan Creek. My grandma, God rest her soul, would have surely said someone spending $75 on a pussy candle should know better I guess. But had they followed the warning clearly posted on the candle they would have been fine.

I was washing dishes while watching this video, and had just finished the last dish and was cleaning the sink when you said to remember to clean the sinks. :-) It's a good reminder! Use some white vinegar or bleach and a drain snake and scrub down in the pipes, too. I just cleaned the bathroom sinks yesterday. 😁

Well, you are an actual Boomer. Modern young morons call every generation older than them "boomers". Why do I say "morons"? They did not even look into where the slur came from. I'm Generation X, we were the 80s and 90s kids who commonly said "Okay Boomer" as young sh^ts to our parents' generation. Internat "Memes are history" dipsh^ts think they coined that decades-old phrase. No... they just made it globally popular, ironically out of sheer ignorance.
They don't even understand why we were cynical towards them. They were often "free love" hippies when young, caused the "baby boom" via their "free love", turned uber-capitalist and totally against their own ideologies, then preach that we are idiots whenever we were like them at all in their youth while also bragging about how they were back then out of the other side of their mouth. Boomers raised us to be smarter than them and often via their methods also really disrespectful of them. Generations after us are more and more the spoiled idiots of the growing social cancer of child worship who let the digital world and marketing do all their "thinking" for them. Oh, the irony, those idiots in their behavior are actually making the now-rich boomers even richer while they laugh at them calling their kids and grandkids "boomers".

I have trouble respecting adults who don't clean or cook. They've infantilized themselves which is, in way, rather gross.
But what if you work most of the day and don’t get time to clean or cook, so hire someone else to do it? Or what if you’re disabled and it’s hard for you to clean or cook? What if you’re getting too old so you can’t clean or cook?
@@sami05kash89 Obviously I meant able bodied people who are physically capable. As for people who work and complain they don't have time, that's just bullshit. My mother baked before work, went to work all day, came home and fixed dinner, and did the housework - which is basically having tidy habits and cleaning up after yourself as you go so you don't live like pigs, (we kids helped when we got old enough). I did the same when I had a family; worked all day, cooked and cleaned up behind me. Now my daughter does the same. She teaches special needs kids all day and goes to Uni in the evening, and still keeps a well run house with proper cooking. All of us had/have demanding careers that keeps us VERY busy and with tidy habits, we have clean homes and home cooked meals. FYI, if you do your own housework, you save money on the gym. Most people i know live this way regardless of income, because we have too much housepride to be lazy. Too many people today have an excuse for everything; just have tidy habits and it's not a big job. A home cooked meal only takes 30 minutes..yeesh...Just do it.
That's a flaw in yourself, then. If you can afford to hire someone , someone who needs a job, to do those things for you... rather than not giving someone a job opportunity and being miserable.. .. the former is the obvious choice. Judging someone negatively for knowing their weaknesses and creating a solution that benefits all partys is pathetic. Sounds more jealous than critically judgmental.

i just find it confusing because she is the least busiest kardashian and always talks about how she needs to be home with her kids and take care of them. when i think of that I'm thinking shes cooking for her kids and tidying up the house. so basically she sits around all day while the people shes hiring is actually doing those things. lol that life is so easy
