I come to two conclusion from this either we have a physical salaat which is 3 times a day with 1 rakah from standing and ending at Sujood reading the Quran.
    Or
There is NOT any physical Salaat, and the Salaat Allah talking of is the like of the Jews perform. Standing and reciting the Quran, inc bowing seating or in Sujood .

So 4/102 explains how the messenger declared new verses.

Actually 5/6 - 7 proves that SALAT is a learning process...
...Allah intends to purify you and to complete His *Favor* (nimat) upon you so that you may be grateful. (5/6)
As usual The God was keep sending new verses in Mohammed's time. And if you read the next verse...
And remember *Favor* (nimat) of Allah upon you and His covenant which He bound you with it when you said, "We heard and we obeyed;" and consciously revere Allah. Indeed, Allah is All-Knower of what is in the breasts. (5/7)
If the verse 5/6 mention about prayer, do you say "We heard and we obeyed" after prayer?

Understanding Qur’an is not only by understanding words meanings, but the context and the related verses in the Qur’an. Verse 4:102 English translation ‘…lead them in prayer…”; the verse explanation is how Muslims have to take guard of enemies while in prayer. Since, the prayer ritual is physical movement with bows and prostrations Muslims could be taken off guard, thus the verse explains how the Muslims should pray in such situation.

I am becoming Quran centric, but I am having trouble with the 3 prayers that many people keep referring to. Reading the Quran, there are numerous dedicated timeslots for salah as demonstrated below: 5 Established prayers?
Chapter 11, Surah Hud ayat 114: "Establish the Salat at the two ends of the day and in the early part of the night". (implies Fajr, Magrib and Isha)
Chapter 2, Surah Baqarah ayat 238: "Take great care of your Prayers, especially of the middle Prayer and stand before Allah like devoted servants". (implies Asr)
Chapter 17 Bani Israel ayat 78: "Establish the Salat from the declining of the sun to the darkness of the night and be particular about the recital of the Quran, at the time of dawn for the recital of the Quran at dawn time is witnessed". (implies Asr, Magrib and Fajr)
Chapter 30 Surah Rum ayat 17: "So, glorify Allah in the evening and the morning; praise is due to Him alone in the heavens and the earth: and (glorify Him) in the afternoon and at the declining of the day". (implies Fajr, Magrib, Dhuhr and Asr)
Chapter 50 Surah Qaf ayat 39: "Therefore, O Prophet (saws), bear with patience whatever they say, and keep up glorifying your Lord with his praise, before sunrise and before sunset. And glorify Him again in the night and also when are free from prostrations". (implies fajr, dhuhr, asr, isha and tahajjud)
The prayer timings in the Holy Qur'an are implied thus if the above ayaat are read together, they certainly allude to 5 obligatory (fard) prayers. However, the main issue now is HOW to perform Salah (as an established set of movements and glorifications of Allaah) - most intereptations tend to be hadith centric. Perhaps there are numerous ways to glorify Allaah, including the ones we are all familar with?

70:20 When they are afflicted, they complain,
70:21 And when good touches him, withholding [of it],

70:23 *Those who are constant in their SALAT صَلَاتِهِمْ.*
70:24 *And They (Al Musalleen) are those who assign a certain share of their property*
70:25 *for the needy and the deprived,*
70:26 *(And Musalleen are those) who acknowledge the Day of Judgment,*
70:27 *(Al Musalleen are the ones) who are afraid of the torment of their Lord,*
70:28 the punishment of their Lord is not something for them to feel secure of,
70:29 *(Al Musalleen are the ones) who guard their carnal desires*
70:30 Except from their spouses or what they possess rightfully then indeed, they (are) not blameworthy,
      70:31 but whoever goes beyond this is a transgressor;
70:32 *(Al Musalleen are those) who honor their trust and promises,*
70:33 *(Al Musalleen are those) who testify to what they have witnessed,*
70:34 *And (Al Musalleen are) those who, on their SALAT صَلَاتِهِمْ keep a guard,*
70:35 such people will receive due honor in Paradise.
70:36 What is wrong with the disbelievers who roam around you,
70:37 On the right and on the left, (in) separate groups?
70:38 Does every one of them desire to enter the bountiful Paradise?
70:39 By no means! Indeed, We have created them from what they know.
70:40 No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests that We have the power
70:41 to replace them by a better people and none can challenge Our power.
70:42 leave them alone to dispute and play until they face the Day with which they have been threatened:
70:43 the Day when they rush out of their graves as if racing towards a signpost,
70:44 with their eyes cast down and covered by disgrace; the day about which they were promised.
are the musaleen those who perform the daily ritual prayers, yes or no ?

Some sunni claim there are 5 contact prayers mentioned in Quran but surely atleast 3 established prayers are mentioned. Please do more research. Other thing is Tasbih (glorification of Allah) which is also mentioned, this can be done throughtout the day anytime probably this is what this guy is refering as those verses are stating.

@@aimamee1688 What if prayer is just done with focus and intent it seems? These times seem like work times right? Observe the duty from sunrise, and up until nightfall (sunset-night) and obviously the middle is the best (because everyone is generally away in the day so most interaction occurs here)
Point is the prayer happens at any moment. You get stuck say at a garage you need a part you didn't realise. You need to interact with god so you whilst standing/sitting or laying in that moment you talk to him like "where can I get this new part of it would be best Allah, I'm stuck right now and need this specific part for my car which I use for work/to serve my duty towards you (eh he's a taxi driver, earns for a family or something and uses his earning for charity)
You're doing your prayer right there whilst upholding the duty, and you talk to him with the voice in between loud and quiet maybe?
What I think is we need to do our own translations and check as each root word has multiple translations, maybe we like a jigsaw fit that translation where ever that root word is and all of it makes snese in each context = it's correct translation= no contradiction with that meaning.

    Clarification :

    *Truthful Testimony*
70:33 And (Al Musalleen are those) who testify to what they have witnessed (بِشَهَادَاتِهِمْ),
    Clarification :
[5:106] O you who believe, witnessing (شَهَادَةُ) shall be done if death is approaching one of you and a will is being made, by two among you who are equitable. If you have gone forth in the land, and death is approaching, then any two may suffice - if you have a doubt regarding them, then detain them after making the *SALAT,* and they will swear by God: "We will not purchase with it any price, even if it was from a near relative, *AND WE WILL NOT CONCEAL THE TESTIMONY (شَهَادَةَ)* of God, else we are of the sinners."
    *Guard the Salat*
70:34 *And (Al Musalleen are) those who, on their SALAT صَلَاتِهِمْ keep a guard يُحَافِظُونَ,*
    Clarification :
[6:92] And this is a Book which We have sent down, blessed, authenticating what is between his hands, and that you may warn the capital of the towns and those around it. And those who believe in the Hereafter believe in it, *AND THEY GUARD THEIR SALAT.*

read maidah 5:6 and 5:7 together. These verses talking about the first students of the Quran. the verse doesnt say wudu! it says ... Allah wants to complete his NIMAT upon you... we know that NIMAT was completed according to 5:3. So they learnt Allah's NIMAT and responded "we heard and we obeyed" in 5:7

❤️ Alhamdullilah from the side ,true Islam’: The following are the complete steps of the Quranic Salat, the full details of each of these steps are found in the Salat section of the site.
1- Perform the 4 steps of ablution:
Wash your faces and your arms to the elbows, and wipe your heads and your feet to the ankles. 5:6
      2- Face Qibla:
From wherever you set off, turn your face towards the Masjid Al-Haram. 2:150
      3- Stand humbly before God:
Those who are humble in their Salat. 23:2
4- Observe the Salat to glorify and commemorate the name of God alone:
I am God, there is no god except Me. Therefore, you shall worship Me and observe the Salat to commemorate ME. 20:14
The singular "ME" in 20:14 cannot be overlooked. The only name to be commemorated in the Salat is the name of God. By mentioning any name in our Salat other than God, we would have immediately disobeyed the command in 20:14
The same message is emphasised in the following 2 verses:
Never associate in the worship of his Lord anyone." 18:110
Say, "My Salat, my worship rituals, my life and my death, are all devoted to God, the Lord of the worlds. He has no partner. 6:162-163
5- Commemorate God by using the Quran alone:
And We have placed veils over their hearts so they do not understand it, and deafness in their ears. And when you commemorate your Lord, in the Quran alone, they turn their backs and run away in aversion. 17:46
This has been the same rule for all who received a Book from God. All were commanded to commemorate God by using His Book:
Among the People of the Book are an upright community. They recite God's revelations during the night while they prostrate. 3:113
      6- Stand, bow, and prostrate:
You shall maintain the Salawaat and the Salat Al-Wusta, and stand devoutly obedient before God. 2:238
So the angels called out to him while he was standing, praying in the sanctuary. 3:39
O you who believe, bow and prostrate and worship your Lord, and do good so that you may succeed. 22:77
Muhammad, the messenger of God, and those with him are stern with the disbelievers and merciful amongst one another. You see them bowing and prostrating, seeking favor from God and consent. 48:29
7- Recite specific mandatory words during the Salat:
      - 'Allahu Akbar' (command in 17:111 to magnify God)
      - 'Praise my Lord the Great' (command in 56:74 to praise the name of God the Great)
      - 'Praise my Lord the Most High' (command in 87:1 to praise the name of God the Most High)
      - 'I bear witness that there is no god except God' (Those who posses knowledge utter the Shahada for God 3:18)
8- The Quranic words of the Salat can be recited any number of times. God never set a minimum number nor a maximum number. And so, each believer is able to do in accordance with his own willingness and ability. The ones who spend more of their time in the worship of their Maker, are indeed well rewarded:
For those who volunteer extra good work, God is Appreciative, Knowledgeable. 2:158
9- Recite other Quranic words of your choice, as long as they glorify God alone and mention the name of God alone (20:14). Such Quranic words can be recited during any of the 3 positions.
A long list of Quranic words that glorify God and for supplication can be found at the bottom of this page:
Quranic words for glorification and supplication
10- Throughout the Salat, the recitation must not be too loud, nor in a silent or whispering voice. The Salat must be observed in a moderate voice that is a path in between the two.
Do not shout your Salat nor whisper it, but seek a path in between. 17:110
11- Immediately after the command in 17:110 to observe the Salat in a moderate voice, we read the words "and say", which indicates that the words that follow "and say" must also be recited during the Salat:
      - Do not shout your Salat nor whisper it, but seek a path in between,
      - AND SAY:
      - Praise be to God who has not taken a son, nor does He have a partner in the sovereignty, nor does He have an ally out of weakness.
In addition, the fact that the instruction to recite such words comes after having observed the Salat in a moderate voice indicates that the recitation of such words should be at the completion of the Salat, just before we end the Salat.
12- End the Salat with the words 'Praise be to God Lord of the Worlds' (10:10).
The following verse tells us about the believers who have made it to Paradise and how they end their prayers. The narration about such believers and their prayers sets an example for us to follow:
Their prayer therein is: "Glory to You, O God," and their greeting therein is: "Peace” and the ending of their prayer is: "Praise be to God, Lord of the worlds." 10:10

Salaat means the duty of every believing man and woman to follow the commandments of Allah, to believe in Allah alone, feed the poor, believe in the hereafter, works of righteousness, read and spread the Quran...etc.
the traditional salaat performed is not from Allah.

QUARAN IS TALKING ABOUT 2 TIMES IN THE DAY
stop manipulating us with your "studying salat"
studying formulas, studies, mathematics, are in laboratories and scientific research
      not salat
      prayer is just:
A- prayer , according to the Koran
      consist of:
      - Standing position: read the Quran softly
      - prosternation:(rokoo/ soujoud) say tasbih, praise to God, glorification of allah
-Tell invocations and make requests and wishes to allah and then, .... End!
its duration is 30 to 40 minutes
      this is the prayer, simply!
      B- according to the Koran
Quran is taking about 2 times in the day and other times during the night.there are only two prayers at both ends of the day,
1- the prayer of dawn (the sunrise)
2- the prayer of achye (the sunset)
3- the prayer of the night (Nafila) qiyam allayl (its duration is optional according to possibility)

@@marcussblue3415Firstly, there is more than one kind of Ṣalâṫ in the Qur’ân, such as saluting the Prophet Muḥammad (صلّى ٱلله عليه وآله وسلّم) (such as Al-Darûd Ash-Sharîf, 33: 57), and the ritual that involves acts like Dhikrallâh (Remembrance of Allâh, particularly Ṫaḥmîd (Praising), Ṫasbîḥ (Glorification) and Ṫakbîr (Exaltation)), standing, Rukû` (Bowing) and Sajdah (Prostration):
Qur’ân, 2: 124) And when Ibrâhîm (Abraham) was tried by his Lord with certain commands, which he fulfilled: He said: “I will make thee, to the Mankind, an Imâm (Leader).” He pleaded: “And also from my ḏurriyyaṫ (offspring).” He said “My Covenant includes not the Wrong-doers.” 125) And when We made the Bayṫ (House) a mathâbaṫan (place of resort) for an-Nâs (the Mankind) and an amnan (place of safety). And take you (people) the Maqâm (Station) of Ibrâhîm as a muṣallâ (place of prayer), and We commanded Ibrâhîm and Ismâ`îl (Ishmael) that they should purify My Bayṫ (House) for those who circumambulate it, or staying, or bowing or prostrating themselves. 126) And when Ibrâhîm said, “My Lord, make this baladan (city or land) âaminan (secure) and provide its people of the fruits, such of them as believe in Allâh and the Last Day.” He answered: “As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the punishment of the Fire, and terrible the destination!” 127) And when Ibrâhîm and Ismâ`îl were raising al-qawâ`id (the foundations) of the House, (saying), “Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the Hearer the Knower. 128) Our Lord! And make us submissive unto You and of our ḏurriyyaṫ (offspring) an Ummaṫanm-Muslimaṫan (Nation Submissive) unto You, and show us our Manâsik (the ceremonies of pilgrimage), and accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Merciful. 129) Our Lord! Send amongst them a Messenger of their own, who shall recite unto them Your Verses and instruct them in the Kiṫâb (Book) and the Ḥikmaṫ (Wisdom), and sanctify them. Verily! You are the Might the Wise.”
      For this ritual, the 5 times for Ṣalâṫ (Al-Fajr (Dawn), Aẓ-Ẓuhr (Noon), Al-`Aṣr (Afternoon), Al-Maghrib (Evening) and Al-`Ishâ’ (Night)) are in the Qur’ân (2: 238) (7: 205 - 206) (11: 114) (17: 78 - 82) (24: 58) (30: 17 - 18) (33: 41 - 42) (40: 55) (50: 39 - 40) (62: 9 - 11):
2: 238) Guard aṣ-Ṣalawâṫ (the Prayers), especially aṣ-Ṣalâṫil-Wusṭâ (the Middle Prayer) and stand before Allâh as obedient ones.
Secondly, the fact that there is a central prayer shows us that the number of obligatory prayers is odd, not even, so if there are 3 prayers, then the middle prayer is the 2nd prayer, but if there are 5 prayers, then the middle prayer is the 3rd prayer. Now I will show you how there are 5 obligatory prayers, not just 2 or 3, if Allâh wills:
7: 205) And remember your Lord within yourself, humbly and with fear without loudness in words, in the Mornings and the Afternoons, and be not of the Neglectful Ones. 206) Surely, those who are with your Lord are not too proud to be his worshippers, but they glorify Him and to Him, they prostrate ۩.”
11: 114) And perform aṣ-Ṣalâṫ (the Prayer), at ṭarafin-nahâr (two ends of the day) and in ẓulufan (some hours, or approaches) of the night. Verily, the good deeds remove the bad deeds. That is a ḏikrâ (reminder or advice) for aḏ-Ḏâkirîn (the mindful ones, or those who accept advice).
17: 78) Perform the Ṣalâṫ (Prayer) for the dulûkish-Shams (decline of the Sun; i.e. aẓ-Ẓuhr) till the ghasaqil-Layl (darkness of the Night; i.e. al-`Ishâ’), and Qur’ân (Reading) in the Fajr (early dawn). Verily, the Qur’ân (Reading) in the Fajr (early dawn) is witnessed. 79) And in some parts of the night, offer the Ṣalâṫ with it, as an additional prayer for you (O Muḥammad). It may be that your Lord will raise you to a Station of Praise. 80) And say (O Muḥammad): “My Lord! Let my entry be good, and likewise my exit be good. And grant me from You an Authority to help me. 81) And say (O Muḥammad): “The Truth has come and the Falsehood has vanished. Surely! The Falsehood is bound to vanish.” 82) And We send down from the Qur’ân that which is a healing and a Mercy to those who believe, and it increases the Wrong-doers in nothing but loss.”
24: 58) O you who believe! Let those possessed of your right hands, and those among you who have not come to the age of puberty ask your permission on three occasions; before Ṣalâṫil-Fajr, and while you put off your clothes for aẓ-Ẓahîraṫ (the noonday or mid-day, i.e., to rest at that time), and after Ṣalâṫil-`Ishâ’. Three times for you, other than these times there is no sin on you or on them to move about, visiting one upon another. Thus Allâh makes clear the Verses to you. And Allâh is Knowing, Wise.
30: 17) So glorify Allâh, when you reach the evening (al-Maghrib), and when you rise in the morning (Fajr); 18) And to Him is the Praise, and the Heavens and the Earth, and `ashiyyan (afternoon, late afternoon, night, or when you come up to the time; i.e. al-`Aṣr), and when ṫuẓẓ-hirûn (the day begins to decline, that is aẓ-Ẓuhr).
33: 41) O you who believe! Remember Allâh with much remembrance. 42) And glorify Him bukraṫan-wa aṣîlan (morning and afternoon).
50: 39) So bear with patience (O Muḥammad) all that they say, and glorify, with Praise, of your Lord, before the ṭulû`ish-Shams (rising of the Sun; i.e. al-Fajr) and before the Ghurûb (Setting; i.e. al-`Aṣr). 40) And of the night, glorify Him, and addbâras-Sujûd (after the Prostrations; i.e. al-`Ishâ’).
And on Jumu`ah (Friday), Ṣalâṫaẓ-Ẓuhr becomes Ṣalâṫal-Jumu`ah (Prayer of the Friday, or Prayer of the Congregation), in which worshippers congregate:
62: 9) O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed for the aṣ-Ṣalâṫ (the Prayer) on the yawmil-Jumu`ah (day of Friday), come to the Dhikrillâh (remembrance of Allâh) and leave off the business, that is better for you if you did know! 10) Then when aṣ-Ṣalâṫ (the Prayer) is finished, disperse through the land, and seek of the Bounty of Allah, and remember Allâh much, that you may be successful. 11) And when they see some merchandise or amusement, they disperse headlong to it, and leave you (Muḥammad) qâ’iman (standing). Say (O Muḥammad) “What is with Allâh is better than the amusement and the merchandise! And Allâh is the Best of the Providers.”

Regarding Salah or Salat or the prayer
There is no ritual prayer in the Qur'an under study.
The ritual prayer times 3 or 5 a day do not match the world in which we live. There are inhabited areas in the world that do not rise or set the sun for a month and two months, it is all night or day.
The second question is what is the benefit or logic of ritual prayer. Let me simplify the subject of ritual prayer.
There are people and a king rule them , the king decided to put rules to organizes the people and puts laws and regulations for the people, so he wrote the constitution book and put everything in it.
The people took the constitution and did the following: The people took the constitution and went to the king and read the constitution upon him 3 or 5 times a day with some movements.
Is this the case with ritual prayer?
I would like you to clarify the topic regarding the timing and the logical benefit of ritual prayer.
Did we not understand the concept of Salat/prayer in the Qur’an???
The meaning of the word SALAH in the Quran is to connect
The Fajr and Isha SALAH in this verse
    [An-Nūr: 58]
    verse 24:58
they have nothing to do with the ritual prayer , according to the context of this verse, God speaks about three periods a day for the people of the house to ask permission before entering to
    your private room
the first period is before the Salat Al-Fajr and the meaning is the
before the beginning of the connecting ( normally it will be beginning of the day ) , the second period is after Salat Al-Isha and the meaning is after the ending of connecting ( normally it will be after going to bed),.
and the third period is when dis-connect in between the beginning and the end ( normally when you take a nap or sort sleep in between )
and the word ALTHAHIRA does not mean noon it has the meaning of get away or to disconnect and these words Al-fajr , Althahira and Al-Isha have no
Relationship to night and day or with the sun timing.
What do you think about this and what is your answer?
    ..........
    To know the meaning of
    (اقيموا او اقم الصلاة)
    (aqimuu or aqim alsalat )
establish or establish prayer, if we know the meaning of
    ( إقام )
    ( 'iiqam )
in the next verse the word (فَأَقامَهُ)
    (wa'aqamah)
    has clear meaning
    (77) So they set out, until when they came to the people of a town, they asked its people for food, but they refused to offer them hospitality. And they found therein a wall about to collapse,(So he set it up) . [Moses] said, "If you wished, you could have taken for it a payment."
    (فَأَقامَهُ)
    (so he set it up)
    so the meaning of
    (اقيموا الصلاة)
    (aqimuu alsalat )
will be to set up or to correct or to improve the way of communication with Allāh by contemplating with His Book and implementing His commands,
    also the meaning of
    (اقيموا الصلاة)
    (aqimuu alsalat )
to set up or to correct or to improve the way of communication with every human interaction between people, between the government and people, or between people and the government.
    (اقيموا الصلاة)
    (aqimuu alsalat )
is a continuous adjustment, set up, correction and improvement the way of communication between you and Allah and between you and people,government...
also between each other like governments and Countries.

One of the divine wisdom of the sunni-shia split at the very early stage of islam (post-rasulullah) is the preservation of the very fundamental of islam that includes Quran and the methodology of salat. Sunnis and shias who would at an extent kill each other turned out perform salat the exact same way (except some minute details) and pray 5 times a day. Give that a thought. Study the concept of _mutawatir._
Human (insān) is composed of 3 element:
    1. the mind (aql)
    2. the heart (qalb)
    3. the body (jism)
each of these have its own prescribed method of bowing down in total submittance to its creator. Our consciousness job is to be conscious of this.

I find it hard to believe how there are people who justify salat being ritual prayer since its living tradition not required to be mentioned, yet Allah even made time to mention the veges that grow from the ground (which is common knowledge for people, muslims and non-muslims alike)

The quran mentions the three positions and specific times of salat.

  • @billbrown4380
    @billbrown4380 5 лет назад +5

The ritual prayers came from pre-Islamic Jews, Christians (such as, coptics) and even bit of it from pagans. There are Jews and Christians who do the prayer almost same way, but they are very few. The rituals of Muslims is not found is the Quran and I don't know how much it is found in writings of their misguided imams, except a little because of incorrect translation of some words like "qibla", "sujud" or "ruku". They interpret these in physical point of view (imagine Yaqub and his wife doing 'sujud' - prostrating to their son - Yusuf in chapter 12, and a prophet is humiliating his father - another prophet) to get some favor from the Quran, and avoid the non-physical meanings (such as, 'sujud' means due honor/reverence and 'ruku' means humble state). There are many examples of salat in the Quran, but they are not step-by-step rituals, rather just reading Quran, understand and feel His mercy and blessing from such reading and praise and glorify Him from heart in any comfortable and sober posture - standing, sitting or even lying down on sides. This is why they do not find the salat in the Quran - those up and down, left and right things. If salat is done in Quranic way, which should moved everybody emotionally and spiritually from understanding the deeper meaning and great wisdom of the Quran, then every person can easily understand the messages of the Quran over the time. Instead, they just parroting and remembering what to do next - this and that, how high I raise my hands, how straight I bend my back, or whether my nose touches the ground - it's ridiculous, and they left salat virtually with no gain in understanding of the Quran and no spiritual evolution! It's a grand show like an army marching which is of course pleasing to the people from materialistic point of view. If a person who does not know anything about Quran and Muslim, and you give him a Quran to study and understand, and then show a Muslim, he will surely say he is not a Muslim! For example, there are steps for washing before the prayer in the Quran and if he see a Muslim how he does it, he will say I don't find some steps in the Quran, so he can't be a Muslim according to the Quran! And their claim that those steps can be found somewhere else is not only irrational, but a lie too and they used name of the Prophet for their lies - it's just simply grievous. There are three prayers in the Quran, mandatory morning/dawn prayer (salat l-fajr), evening/dusk pryaer (salat l-isha) and optional night/midnight prayer (salat l-wusta). If you go to Bible, Prophet Eisa prayed these three times (early morning Mark 1:35, late evening Matthew 14:22-23, long night Luke 6:12). If you open up KJV of 1611, it has a year-long Calendar where it has a long list of morning and evening prayer along with what to read (many scriptures, specially from Psalm - Book of praise/glory) in prayers everyday.

This verse is clearly about the demands of disbelievers from Prophet Muhammad Pbuh about Quran and His Pbuh Prophet hood ....which start from verse 90
Quran 17:90 to verse 93 for the context
And they say, "We will not believe you until you break open for us from the ground a spring.
Or [until] you have a garden of palm tress and grapes and make rivers gush forth within them in force [and abundance]
Or you make the heaven fall upon us in fragments as you have claimed or you bring Allah and the angels before [us]
Now below is the verse you give reference in your comment
Or you have a house of gold or you ascend into the sky. And [even then], we will not believe in your ascension until you bring down to us a book we may read." Say, "Exalted is my Lord! Was I ever but a human messenger?"
Here where does ALLAH SWT said Prophet Muhammad Pbuh did not got to the heavens ...... THis verse the continuation of the demands of disbelievers this is what disbelievers demand from Prophet Muhammad pbuh that He should go to the heavens and bring the book and then they witness this miracle then they would bring iman or believed in Prophet Muhammad Pbuh ... I loved the video about Salat and the Hoors as well as the one about head covering. I found his videos about alcohol less reliable as he does not take in consideration the gradual ban of intoxicants in the quran. Nor does he take in consideration that khmr which is any type of covering, can also be a light covering over your thought processing faculty. « A light buzz » is a light khimr. God mentions in Quran 21:73 that Prophet Ibrahim was first Prophet who was taught to establish Salat. Moreover we are all commanded to follow the Religion of Ibrahim as per 3:95.
Concerning this why other Prophets before Ibrahim were not taught to establish Salat? There is no single verse in Quran that other Prophets before Ibrahim had established the Salat. That means that Salat was not known until Ibrahim?
Never the less Ibrahim is only Prophet who was making Dua to Allah to make his offsprings establisher of Salat. Nowhere in Quran there is a single verse with Salat in combination with Prophets before Ibrahim, but Prophets after Ibrahim, like Musa as said in 20:14.

Does that mean that Prophets before Ibrahim did not perform any duty and follow God's commandments?
      Of course not.
The reason why God mentioned Salat with Ibrahim first, because Salat is something specific with motions. That is why Ibrahim and all other Prophets after Ibrahim were commanded to perform a Salat( prayers). Moreover God commanded us all to follow the religion of Ibrahim as per 3:95.

I believe salat means Prayer to Allah but the salat already existed since Ibrahim a.s. so it was known how to do salat.
The quran though does mention prostration and bowing and Standing and sitting. These are the notions a muslim goes through when doing salat. The jews are Standing and the christians sitting or kneeling. So the quran does give hints to a ritual Prayer as well. But salat does not only mean the ritual Prayer it also means that in order for salat to be accepted one Needs to support others. (for eg. the needy )Salat can mean Connection and if a Person prays to Allah they connect with him. There is more evidence in quran of a ritual Prayer than non ritual Prayer. But since it was already known before the Prophet muhammad Allah does not explain it again in detail, but the key words are given in Quran. It is wrong to say Salat does not also mena ritual Prayer. A du3a is a form of Prayer that can be done anytime and no matter in what Situation you are. For example People who are drunk are told not to do salat this way.

@@rehanrassi9410 Im glad to hear to hear that brother:) Well it all started because I got an Arab friend, and we liked to debate our religions with each other. And he thought me things about Christianity I didn't know, f.eks that is was compiled much later after Jesus (around 4-500 years after). The truth about why Christmas is on Dec. 24/25 and the illogical trinity, especially the holy spirit. Because God never talks about the holy spirit in the Bible. So I couldn't accept Christianity as the true word of God anymore because of too much interference by man. So I accepted Islam around 10 years ago, and became a very strict Sunni Muslim, I went every Friday to the Mosque and learned some arabic. But around 5 years ago after I had read the Quran a couple of times, I began to question some things about the religion Islam, because it talked about allot of stuff that wasn't in the Quran(and it says many times it is complete and perfect). So I began to look online about the history of hadith and the Sunnah and came across a man named Sam Gerrans who had made a video about why he rejected Hadith. So very quickly I also rejected it. And funny thing, my friend who taught me about Islam, doesn't not agree at all about rejection hadith, and the argument he used against me when I was Christian that it was corrupted by man, I use against him now. But he won't believe me 😅

There are instruction how to do the SALAT. you can see that there are about 84 verse in the Quran that contains the word SOLAH, the thing is, it is not group together but arranged in steps. It literally said the starting point of solah, its origin and the way to do it.
In surah AlBaqarah ayah no. 125, it says "....TAKE from MAKAM Ibraheem as MUSOLLAH." so what can you take from makam ibrahim? where is makam ibrahim? you know he is has been appointed as AN IMAM for THE PEOPLE. so what does this mean?
The Imam standing in MAKKAH is the MAKAM IBRAHEEM. He is the IMAM that everyone should follow. CLEARLY, it says, TAKE FROM (min) makam ibrahim as MUSOLLA" so what can you take from the imam in the MAKKAH?? it is HOW TO PRAY.
you see.. this is the RITUAL SALAT. IT originated from IBRAHEEM. OUR SOLAT now is based on Ibraheem, the prophet before ibraheem have their own form of SALAT. but the one we use today is BY ALLAH follows the MILLATA IBRAHIM.. the RITUALS of IBRAHEEM.
this is only one of the ayah that mentioned about solat, if you studied all the 84 ayah that mention solat, you will definitely find the ritual of SALAT.

I think he’s missing the point that the Salat as we know it has a Root and that root goes back to Muhammad. The physical prayer/Salat that Muhammad taught has not changed since he first taught it. His followers have not changed the prayer or any words of the book. Of course the Quran speaks of Salat in less ritual forms however those forms of Salat are for individual uses whereas Muhammad taught the Physical Saalat as a community practice. Basically Muhammad taught the community a Physical form of Salat which his followers learned and copied as he taught. Whereas the Allah in the Quran makes man aware about Salat for general internal purposes. For example… let’s say someone gets a copy of the Quran. They know nothing about Islam but their hearts are pure. They can read the Quran and begin doing some of the less ritual forms of Salat by themselves. Like bowing and prostrating. Later that person meets a “practicing” Muslim… That practicing Muslim who is part of a community can now begin to teach that person the proper community form of Salat which every other Muslim in the world knows how to do. So now instead of Bowing and prostrating as a single person he is now able to make salat as a group and community of millions. This is the reason why many of the rites and rituals are not specifically detailed in the Quran because these details had to be PHYSICALLY TAUGHT by Muhammad . There is always a physical and internal directive to the teachings. The Physical rites and rituals had to be taught by Muhammad and copied by his followers who taught them to later generations in a unbroken chain but only Allah can inform Man about the internal practices which he prescribed to him as an individual and he did so in the Quran. No detail is left out. The Book is complete without error.

If you’re referring to parts of your Salat that Muslims ask Allah to Bless Muhammad like he Blessed Abraham then those parts aren’t mandatory to say in Salat. There are parts in the Salat where you can say whatever you want to say. This is the reason Salat is taught for community purposes.

@@ubaste2498 that’s my point. The extra blessings on Muhammad is included in most prayers but this goes against Quran teachings and there’s no way Muhammad himself prayed like this.

@@MomoAfterDark how do Muslims asking Allah to Bless Muhammad go against the Qurans teachings? Don’t you ask Allah to bless you or those Close to you?
You “doubt” that Muhammad prayed this way or taught his followers to pray this but honestly there is NO evidence to the contrary. Doubts are not evidence however what we do have is 1400 years of Muslim Practice without 99 percent of Muslim communities disputing that the prayer is said in this manner. Disputers have ALWAYS been in the minority in regards to how the prayer is performed. The Burden to proving their positions falls not on those who have practiced in the same manner for centuries but on themselves. If they doubt bring their proof so that we can all discuss. Simple. But if it’s only Doubts with no sure concrete proof then it’s only doubt which they themselves will have to answer to Allah about.

brother mirza yes there is five ritual salah in QURAN' god directs us to follow the standing place MUKAMI of Ibrahim MUSSALI of Ibrahim 2-125. So brother ALLAH is telling us in verse 2-125 that take MUSALLA the standing place of IBRAHIM a place of contact' which is located in masjid al haram ' so ALLAH is telling us to take the salah format from there. Yes the standing position is also psychological one monotheism and ritual standing also. Brother i used to believe in your concept to but after this verse 2-125 i started to consider the ritual salah. The verse 17-78 made me believe that yes there is more than three salah because ALLAH is telling us to establish salah at the decline of the sun till night and QURAN at dawn. So the sun starts declining at noon time of ZUAHIR afternoon salah till evening the MAGRIB salah and then ALLAH says recite QURAN at dawn. So establishing salah is not reciting QURAN because ALLAH says in 17-78 establish salah and!! QURAN at dawn. Brother Mirza many QURAN alone just follow the three times salah before sunrise ' and before sunset and the night contact' but verse 17-78 ALLAH says to establish salah at the decline of the sun so there is more than three salah ' this is why i got convinced ' there are more verses to prove my point . Please study these verses and get back to me in your reply. Brother as long as we get our information from QURAN we are good ' yes we will differ in some subjects but we have to go back to QURAN ' ALLAH and his messenger meaning the verses and if we still differ ALLAH will make everything clear to us on judgement day. And salah means connect , contact
