Great video and very informative. Quick question how to merge two queries without any errors? I’ve using merge but the output weren’t the same

The folder doesn't stay connected though, after you close the file. How do you solve this?

Is there a way to use vba to automate power query? Reason I just want to use variable and maintain folders in system?

Use the macro recorder while constructing your power query and check out the code it produces. It will be quite a challenge to wrap your head around it, but if you just want to automate certain aspects instead of writing a Power Query from scratch in VBA, it should be possible (yes, I know, the question is dated, but maybe someone else reads the comments).
