I have had been using Photoshop for 15 + years. I watched your Lesson #1 video this morning and OMLord, there were so many tools and short cuts either I knew them but too lazy to explore or I was not aware of their existence at all. I will watch the whole series of your lessons very carefully and try to learn everything, big or small, in them. Thank you for your teaching and sharing. You are undoubtedly the best PS tutor.

If anyone out there is starting from scratch learning Photoshop, please save yourself some time and start here. I know there are tons of Ps tutorials online, but in my time as a designer, I've discovered a lot of teachers can show you how the *software* works, but they don't show you how to get professional results. With Unmesh, you'll never go wrong, believe me.

14 minutes in and I gotta say I m simply loving your way of explaining, teaching and talking. There is just something about the way you speak and your expression that comes of to me as almost sarcastic or cheeky in a way that I just love. You speak in a way that is perfect for absolute beginners but doesn't feel condescending but instead feels comedic. Never before has a photoshop tutorial has actually made the app feel anything less than a jungle to navigate through before this one.

I'm about 5 minutes in and this is exactly what I have been looking for, a short and to the point beginners tutorial for Photoshop. I've been using Premiere Pro for years but for some reason never had the interest in using Photoshop to enhance my videos etc. I definitely am going to start doing so now. Man… this is the first time ever I don’t feel intimidated by photoshop and actually feel like opening it up and playing around a bit without the fear of messing everything up! I’ve wanted to learn photoshop for years (not learn this or that tricks as most other tutorials are structured, but actually learn and understand it in masterclass), and this video came up on my RUclips home feed and I had to immediately jump on it knowing if I ever wanted to learn photoshop, now is my chance with Unmesh! The presentation and format, with the refreshers and the quick but detailed coverage are just perfect - not imperfect! Love this tutorial as I’m moving from Affinity. Lots of things are similar but it’s good to see where they all are! Oh and the smudge tool at the end was just wonderful.

I have been using photoshop professionally for over 22 years. I do everything from "muscle memory" (I dont even think about finding shortcut keys) But there are so many new features and changes to the tools over the years that it is easy to get stuck in the "old ways" (I still press H to move the canvas instead of the Hold Space - DERP!) So I decided to watch this video series in the hopes I would pick up new tricks, and I wasn't disappointed, only lesson one and I already picked up some tricks. I cant believe I was watching your channel for so long and never took the basics course - I'm going to binge watch them all now!

I've been seriously procrastinating an intense desire/need to expand my grasp of Photoshop. Though I've been volunteering 2 PowerPoints weekly for a church for the past 7 years (which definitely keeps my creative juices flowing), I use the same techniques (very innovatively, I might add) over & over thus not taking advantage of new (or even other) features than just the several I've "sloppily" mastered.

I've used photoshop before like way back 10 years ago. I still have ideas on the basics but I wanted to learn more because I want to upskill. However, I've been too lazy to actually watch tutorials like this until today. The entire 45 minutes was not boring at all! I've learned A LOT in less than an hour. Just WOW. I wish to complete the rest of the tutorials and at the same time, I'm going to keep practicing. I'm going to be a GREAT GRAPHIC DESIGNER and I CLAIM IT!
I have never seen any human explaining things with so ease and calmness plus with every single details like how and why and why not. For a fresh start, this is a great and easy to follow set of lessons within the tutorial. On my day 1. This is quite enough, a bit to long (concentration fall's after 25min. mark), jet I could follow each part with clear understanding. Will come back tommorow for a part two ❤

That's really well done. Great teaching style and suddenly PS doesn't look at all daunting. Most tutorials teach you while somehow expecting you to know it already. Hello! So I am a graphic design student @ Full Sail University and i finished illustrator in December and started photoshop on January 8th. The schools tutorial lessons are quite outdated, i would say at least 3 years old and 7 out of 10 tutorials i just could not replicate. week one of gr2 was photo shop basics and i made it through but not with some major learning curves. last week, week 2, I simply couldn't replicate most of the tutorials and couldnt finish either of my graded assignments. I found this course 100% by accident and just now finished lesson one and i must say....I HAVE A NEW FOUND LOVE FOR PHOTOSHOP! everything you did i was able to recreate and follow with ease. what is taught in lesson one i simply didnt understand via the schools tutorials. I spent over 30 hours trying to complete 4 assets that ultimately i was unable to and after lesson 1 i was able to get 2 of them almost complete with EASE. I hope the next couple lessons will get me up to speed with my class so i can keep up. Thank you so much for this course!

You're a pretty friggin cool guy, you know that?! I'm a 61 y/o old fart who struggles with computers but can find, track, hunt & kill a deer to where all my buddys ask me how I do it. "you're pretty good in the woods" they say. Won shooting contests with adults from all over the county when I was 15 y/o & couldn't even drive to the gun range to compete. (Dad, insisted I go). You are a good teacher and haha I think that is SO COOL! I like you, young man. God has given you the gift of teaching. Teaching is the ability to transfer knowledge. Mere possession of knowledge isn't the same as the ability to transfer it.

Just found this today while searching for new PS for Photo restoration help. Have used Adobe editing tools for photos and videos since 2019, and today was mind-blowingly helpful! Renews my hope in learning this finicky tool (which has reduced me to tears on many occasions). Because you know your subject so well you can present it simply and clearly--sign of a great teacher with a fine mind. Thank you!

I tried PS tutorials, I tried other RUclips channels, Shorts, books..the lot! This tutorial was amazing! The first session where I was actually smiling at the end as I felt I learnt so much.
